castle, you are very fortunate to have a good place for your dad to live. I'm really glad for you both.

Unfortunately, that's not the norm. There are far too few memory care facilities and way too many people with dementia/alzheimers without a safe place to live. And not just safe, but where they are still treated like human beings and the staff is well-trained to deal with their behaviors. I deal with this almost daily and it breaks my heart for them, and for their families (if they have any or have anyone willing to be involved).

Anyway, on to Friday everyone....

Hi Joe, just a line to say that when my playing gets fustrating trying to emulate other great players while not having loads of hours of technique to fall back on...I just put on some joe backing tracks and im totally in the zone playing along again. theres only one other player that can do that to me and that's David Gilmour. I heard a track on the new pickin chickin 3 album and was very impressed with Sammys vocal...took me back to 5150 days...........I also decided to sell all my pedals and buy all the vox JS sig pedals...I currently have 2 saturators but will get the others within 3 months. The only one that will cost me a bit will be the EH pog. keep shredding! cheers nodrog5150

Hi Jo, Last night saw Satchurated amazing show out of this world performance BUT IT WAS IN 2D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in AMC in San Francisco had the glasses on watching the show and NO 3D and then they announced that they made a mistake and it will be only in 2D, they gave us passes for a free show, BUT I WANTED TO SEE YOU IN 3D, it would have been amazing. Cinematography was super, so it would have been a real treat to experience the 3D and get SATCHURATED. Can you do something for a re-screening? Hope to see you soon on stage again.

I never listened to him much before joining here...which is a shame because I love a lot of his songs. Unfortunately I dismissed him him because of the "bucket on the head". That was a mistake.

Yes, I thought of him as a shredder and the "Buckethead" moniker conjured up sort of an testosterone driven jackass. My mistake.

Chelle, I think we might be safe cuz Mr. London is moving this weekend....but remember I said "might"...cuz u never know...

I should probably get past my aversion to the stoopid bucket and give him a chance. I'm sure he's a wonderful player but the bucket and mask....OY!!!

I get to go see a lil 100 year old lady this afternoon to see if she needs any help in her home....looking forward to it :)

Ok guys and girls, nobody else is to add to the Newcastle Panthers concert attendance. There's already 3 names put down and in my opinion that's 2 to many. Your assistance in this matter would br greatly appreciated. Lets not make the after show selection any harder then it has to be. I'm sure you would all agree, the feeling of sorrow that must felt each and every time someone misses out, would be devistating to who ever is making the selection. All I'm saying, is lets just make at least one show an easy choice for them..... Just saying.

@guitarman-Skyrim is one of the greatest games I've ever played. The Dragonborn theme is one of my favorite songs from a game now. I wanted to play the theme on guitar but all of the backing tracks I found were too metal. When I think of Skyrim I would think it should be powerful but without the crashing cymbals. lol

Flash- From all the searching I've done, people keep saying there is supposed to be a Blu-Ray 3D release, BUT, the product page on Amazon.com has NO details about the item whatsoever. That, IMO, does not help sell your product.

So, I ordered the DVD and the Blu-Ray with the assumption that they would both be 2D, with one being higher quality than the other.

Maybe Joe Satriani could shed some light on the issue???

Went to a guthrie govan masterclass yesterday, which was excellent. I learned quite a lot.

I also saw his band, The Aristocrats, last night. Oh my god! They were incredible. If any of you havent heard of them, i highly recommend that you go and listen to them. I also got their album signed by all 3 of them (Marco Minnemann included!!), then had a little chat with guthrie. What an incredible night!
