Hi Joe! Any chance G3 will play in the Bay Area in 2012 or beyond? Travelled to the benefit concert for Cliff II in July 2011 at the House of Blues in Hollywood - awesome show!!! We were front row standing on your side of the stage. How is Cliff doing? See you at Harrah's Lake Tahoe on 5/4/12!!

Hi Joe, I really love your music since i first heard heard on the radio back in 87. I have read most of your guitar magazine interviews and other interviews and the commitment you have for the music and to your fans. Your one of my ultimate guitar players I admire!!!

Keep on and god bless you and your family Joe!

And hopefully you and/or Chikeenfoot come to San Diego to play!!

roger777, when the planets line up, yes he does. Check out "Joe Messages" at the top of the page.

Congrats grandpa!

Chee, tell Crippers good luck! Glad he has all his energies going into something so beneficial for him. Sorry to hear how you're going to spend your day. *sigh* Give Deb a hug for me. My mom is doing really good at the moment despite the news she has pneumonia in her left lobe. God gave us our little Vivvy back. I know it's temporary, but we'll take every bit of it we can get. We thought last Friday was the end, and a week later she's back to the nursing home, doing p.t., and laughing at my jokes. lol! Didn't think I'd get to see that again. So grateful. Rollercoaster Grandma strikes again.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Chelle, thanks, as you know, he's very self-motivated when something catches his interest and will go into it whole-heartedly. One of the cool things that will happen is he'll get to meet one of the Radio Shack team members who rode in the Tour de France last year. That's almost as good as meeting Joe to him :) He loves his heros!

Happy St Patricks day everyone and YAYYYYYYY VIVVY!! Maybe if you take her some candy apple red heels, it might rev her up more, lol!!! Love ya :)

well I'm racking up quite the JS collection. I just bought an Ice9 overdrive and the Time Machine delay pedals.

Whats the best signal chain for my setup?

JS1000 into a Big Bad Wah, Satchurator Distortion, Ice9 Overdrive, Time Machine Delay, Digitech RP90, into a Peavey ValveKing Royal 8.

I know Joe starts with the Wah.

Guitarman- I know that Joe runs his delays through the FX loop, as do I. I also run my digitech RP and a harmonizer through the loop as well. Otherwise your setup sounds about like mine. I have way too many pedals though. I picked up an Ice 9 the other day, I usually tend to stray away from OD pedals, and this one will probably be no exception. I usually use two boss DS-1 and they work just dandy!

Here's the link to an old rig rundown vid with Joe Bosso and Mike Manning. If you search youtube for "Joe Satriani Rig Rundown" you'll find another one by Premier Guitar that goes over his BSAWW setup.

JasonAussie, once you get a bald spot the size of yer last cd, you don't reconsider growing yer hair back. lol!

CHEERS to all the bald guys out there!

Head shavers unite!

I was just messing with my hubs today telling him that he could grow out a side patch and tuck it behind his ear until it was long enough for a frontal noggin comb~over. My daughter almost pissed herself laughing!

Anybody listen to the new ANTHRAX cd yet? It's soooo good!

WOOT! Sounds great cranked to 11!

Sad but true - our system is ass backwards!

Here's the way it should be:

Let's put the seniors in jail and the criminals in nursing homes.

This would correct two things in one motion:

Seniors would have access to showers, hobbies and walks.

They would receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental and medical treatment, wheel chairs, etc.

They would receive money instead of having to pay it out.

They would have constant video monitoring, so they would be helped instantly... if they fell or needed assistance.

Bedding would be washed twice a week and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.

A guard would check on them every 20 minutes.

All meals and snacks would be brought to them.

They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose.

They would have access to a library, weight/fitness room, spiritual counseling, a pool and education...and free admission to in-house concerts by nationally recognized entertainment artists.

Simple clothing - i.e. shoes, slippers, pj's - and legal aid would be free, upon request.

There would be private, secure rooms provided for all with an outdoor exercise yard complete with gardens.

Each senior would have a P.C., T.V., phone and radio in their room at no cost.

They would receive daily phone calls.

There would be a board of directors to hear any complaints and the ACLU would fight for their rights and protection.

The guards would have a code of conduct to be strictly adhered to, with attorneys available, at no charge to protect the seniors and their families from abuse or neglect.

As for the criminals:

They would receive cold food.

They would be left alone and unsupervised.

They would receive showers once a week.

They would live in tiny rooms, for which they would have to pay $7,000 per month.

They would have no hope of ever getting out.

"Sounds like justice to me!"

I'm positive I've seen this poster before

And am pretty sure I've seen this or something like it...

But this one isn't familiar...

and neither is this one

That seller has some interesting older stuff up for sale. I'm not buying, just like seeing the stuff I haven't seen before :)

Meanwhile...Skippy, that's cool that your husband rides. It's done a lot of good for Chris, has improved his mood and outlook on life quite a bit. Not to mention his sculpted legs, lol! This spring he hopes to do a lot of rides with our local group. He's done pretty well training on his own but you can't beat learning how to ride in a crowd...gaggle...pod? of bike riders :D What's been the longest ride your husband has done?

Cappy,, so sorry to hear of your friends' daughters' condition. I'm familiar with guillain-barre syndrome and it's not good. So sorry one so young has to deal with such an awful blow, especially after losing her dad :((( Hugs.

AussieRGman, I'm with Michelle on that one...I think that train left the station a long time ago, lol!! Joe has a very sweet expression to his face and it's easier to see without hair...once you peek under the low-hanging hat, lol!!

Chelle, u crack ME up and I'm a few thousand miles away, lol!! Unfortunately though, what you posted about prisoners and nursing homes is sadly true. I wish there was a way to fix what's broken in the world. I just keep chiseling away, a bit at a time, at my little corner.

Funeral yesterday was lovely, there was an amazing young woman singing with a beautiful voice, the flowers were stunning and just what Hazel would have wanted, the stories and tributes were very, very touching. My friend Debbie and her brother and sister all did an amazing job taking care of her while alive, and I know Hazel is proud and greatful for everything. While incredibly sad, somehow it was also very uplifting to hear how she touched other people's lives. RIP Hazel, you left behind a wonderful legacy in your 3 adult children!!

Dear Joe Why on earth did you decide after all these years to get someone on keyboards? I beleive its ruining your true talent and sound PLEASE get rid of it

I would love to hear you do a heavy metal album with all songs being hard rock or even thrash metal

And please no more keyboards

TheHawkGuy- Are you talking about having a custom JS made from the Ibanez custom shop where Joe has his guitars made? Last time I checked, their services are only available to their promoting artists. I'm sure someone else here would know the current situation- CUBE? Besides, if Joe wanted candy corn orange JS2400's floating around in public, there would be more than one in existence, I'm sure. Same applies for the Experience Hendrix guitar...
If you are talking about having a copy made locally, if you could find someone to do it because of the copyright infringement, it would be one of those "don't ask, don't tell" kind of items, ya know what I mean?

I know you can go to the Ibanez forum at Jemsite.com and the Ibanez reps check-in there often. People there have submitted ideas for guitars that have eventually made it into production, so that's worth a shot I guess... If they opened up their custom shop to the public, they would probably make enough $$ to justify it, but then Joe wouldn't have creative control over the JS line as I figure he wants to maintain. Speaking of which, it's about time for a new JS series guitar....
