Anyways Al, if yer gonna play it, you know pants off is always preferred no matter. Ask around, you'll see.
FYI - "Jesus loves you." A nice gesture in church. A horrific thing to hear in a Mexican prison. I'm just sayin'.
FYI #2 - The U.S. has only 4% of the world's population, but consumes 65% of its supply of hard drugs
FYI #3 - When I grow up I wanna be just like this guy!

Yeah grand, it's warm here lately too so all good... Dublin is in Hawaii for the next while...
as for the AWMAWY thing ^^^ he's right, the slow songs are harder to play and get the vibe goin
Sick of shredders playing 2323232 notes and can't do a simple vibrato or play with a bit of grace
fack off I says!

12 years ago is a big difference for you and me Ally-boy. I don't think the Spice Girls were on my list. lol!
I have so many cassette tapes. It used to be fun to make set list tapes from Joe's shows. Now there's so many LIVE recordings, and all the goodies on this wonderful thinking box that I cba to ever do that again.

The Master Satriani video contest has me all excited. I'm not sure what song to pick. At first I thought Revelation, but since I got a brand new Satriani acoustic guitar I thought maybe Andalusia. But God is Crying is one I have wanted to do for quite some time... IDK.

I wanted to do all of them, since there are 10 songs and 10 winners, I bet he picks one of each song, so I was gonna do all of them to have 10 chances of winning. But the rules say only one video per entrant and if multiple videos are submitted the first one is accepted and the rest are disqualified.
But since I already downloaded the official backtracks from the albums I will make all the videos just for fun. But I think I will submit Revelation for the contest.

Joe,
My 19 year old son wants to compete in the "Master Satriani" contest and he has been working on getting the cover of The Golden Room as close as possible to your original.
We have conflicting thoughts on the word "original."
What should he do - play it like you? or play his own jam?
He can do either, which would you prefer?
Thanks,
Cindi

Dear Joe,
My name is Matt Crimmins and I am a disabled 9/11 WTC vet. I was a paramedic on that day and was badly injured both physically and emotionally that day. The worst part being my partner and best friend passed away in my arms, I sustained a fractured humurus that crushed my brachial nerve in my left shoulder and have been going through PT ever since. While pulling my friend out of the rubble I also herniated a disc in my back but I still pulled him to safety but to no avail. Now I have the beginnings of emphysema and suffered a massive heart attack due to breating in all the debris..which my mom is slowly passing away due to extensive heart problems. I recieve $200 a month for food and $180 cash for bills so I cannot afford another JS1000.. Music is my life Joe and i saved for over a year for that stellar guitar and I diont know how much time I have left. I only have 45% of my heart muscle left and am scheduled for a defibrilator later this month. I have dedcated 20+ years of my life helping people and saving lives. and it is taking every bit of my pride to ask you, my idol, for help in obtaining another JS1000 so I can enjoy waht time I have left. Please Joe help my dream come true so I can pass a happy man who will be burried with his favorite guiutar, Thank you for your time and considderation. In my book your the best guitarist who ever lived.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Matt Crimmins; NYC/NYS EMS Paramedic Disabled
