Hi Joe. I am recording a new guitar instrumental album of classic song 're-make' medleys. Still in production, 3 songs have been completed. They can be heard on this web page www.jimhawthorne.net/rehash . One of the finished songs is a Ronnie Montrose medley, which I think you would enjoy, (having just played all those Montrose songs at the S.F. gig). The other 2 are classic 70's funk, and then a Hendrix-Zeppelin-Golden Earring joint. I hope you will enjoy these if you have a chance to check them out. Sincerely Jim Hawthorne.

Satriella - congrats on the win. Very nice of you to give them to your son.

Peace - I'm glad to hear it. Disc 2 is good huh? Don't you love the two bonus tracks for their simplicity? Are you in it by they way??

Hello Joe,

I am from India and a great fan of your music and guitar skills. I am 26 and have been playing guitar for now about 5 yr. As a guitarist I am not a very fast player , but could make decent cover of your songs like extremist, summer song ,crystal planet and others . I am professionally a Software Engineer, but have been inclined to music and career into it since I started playing.

I lack ear training, sight reading , but know considerable theory. Could you please suggest the organized way of proceeding further so that I can be a musician , can compose and play along with other musician. May be you wanna look at my playing skills [ink="http://www.youtube.com/user/varunnidhi"]

Thank you Varun

Here I am again, should have gone to bed by now, but Joe's music keeps taking me farther and farther away from the real world.

It's just occurred to me that one of my fave Joe tracks 'Borg sex' may have naughty undertones. Resistance is futile, you will comply.
