Happy birthday, Jeff Campitelli! And happy 12th anniversary, Live In San Francisco! It still feels like just yesterday that I was at that show...

Did anyone get any cool music-related gifts for Christmas? I got this cool shirt from the Satch store.

A few days before Christmas, I saw the last stop of the Brian Setzer Orchestra's Christmas tour. What a show! And it occured to me halfway through that I've now seen everyone on the original Merry Axemas CD except for Richie Sambora and Hotei...not bad!

...Austin...

Well that was 2012 folks. I got to see Joe twice, after not seeing him since PSATMOR. And I get to see him again in April. Happy days indeed. I was also lucky in many other ways, it was a great year. But 2013 will be the best yet. I have heaps of plans and goals cos it's a big birthday year for me. I'm going to do some things way out of my comfort zone. I hope you all have a wonderful and fun New Year's Eve and that 2013 is your best year ever. Feel free to tell me what you want to do, be, have in 2013. Skippy

Hey Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Pip: Condolences to you and the family. Praying that everyone/everything is alright.

Michelle, T-Bone, Peace Lily, Skippy: Hope you lovely ladies are doing well.

DTS: Austin, great to hear from you. Happy New Year to you.

Joe: Wishing you a safe and rockin' New Year.

I am looking forward to 2013. I have marathons lined up and my first one is in Charleston, South Carolina on 1/19/13. I will try to make sure to let you all know where I am running this year. This year in running, I would rack up a little over 3,500 miles total.

To Everyone: Have a safe and wonderful New Year. Hope 2013 is a good one for you all. \m/ \m/

Grant

When are you going to write an autobiography? Fans want to know what has kept you going so strong all these years and how you've managed to produce an enormous amount of material plus keep an intense (World) tour schedule along with that. (There is no place on the internet to discuss Joe Satriani and his music. That's a real shame. Even at this site there is no place for fan interaction. Every other musician/band has good interactive messageboards/forums.)

Joe - When touring in the UK in future you may want to consider the new Leeds Arena which opens soon. It is the only 'fan' shaped arena in the UK and each of the 13,500 seats has a perfect line of sight to the stage. Happy New Year to you and yours (which of course includes the T2J family).

So far in 2013 I've managed to practice guitar every day. And realised how bad I am and I have to go back to basics again. Should be shredding by next month then. Not.
See you in April Joe!

A BIG THANK YOU to those of you who offered prayers and good vibes for my nephew who got cancer of his man bits. After surgery and chemo his 'bloods' have now come out all clear. He's half the man/boy he used to be but will still be man enough if you get my drift. Thanks again. \m/

Hey joe, im a good fan of your music and love your style of music. ive been wanting to ask this for awhile, but i have always wanted to lear how to play and master the guitar. my dream is to one day become a great guitaris and be rememberd but i have never been able to find someone to show me i have been learning all bymyself and no one seems to think i can actually become a great guitarist. i know you might get this alot from other people and this might not seem much to you. all im really asking is for your help, i wanted to ask if you could teach me how to play and become something of myself. i would really apreciate it if you replied back....

Hey Joe, I don't know if you will read this but I am planning on posting some videos of me playing the guitar on YouTube and sending it to some recording companies for the future. I'm 17 and I have a very deep passion for guitar, learning my scales, learning my chords, and most of all, becoming famous like you. I was hoping you could give me some advice on how to do that or how you approached fame. It's not that I want to be rich nor want the money... Just recording my music and selling it so people can hear it and I can entertain them and play for them. I believe it's about the music, not the money. Thanks Joe! you can also email me at (inside the quotation marks) "intrebec@gmail.com" ... Hope to talk to you soon! It means a lot to me!
