Anything you need Pip, just ask. I well know some of what you're going through and if listening will help, I'm here :) You and your mum are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

Chelle....I love you too, man, lol!! U knows it!!

To all here, both near and far away....sending much love and good wishes out to all the corners of the earth. Love is all there is, and all that we need. The rest is just....fluff, I guess.

Civ, that's the most awesomest news ever, congrats on that!! I know you're stoked and will totally enjoy!! Post vids if you can!

Love ya Joe. Happy holidays to you and your whole family. I hope you get a little time off to spend with them and draw everyone close.

And of course, thoughts and prayers being sent out to the families in Connecticut. Even as I shake my head in disbelief, I can only imagine what those people are going through. My heart hurts for them all.

Toosh, Pip's dad unexpectedly passed away.

The media is still sensationalizing this shooter, and the mass shooters of the past. I think it's beyond irresponsible that they continue to concentrate so much time on this, saying the same things over and over, and the worst EVER are the ones interviewing 6 year olds to make them tell what they saw in the school. We need to HONOR AND PROTECT the children and adults who were brutally taken from us that day, and we need to honor their families. No need to hash out details and give other sickos ideas for their sick minds to try to outdo for their moment of 'glory". Tell the story, say what happened, and stop sensationalizing it to make ratings!

I said it before and I'll say it again - there is NO need for the public to own semi-automatic weapons! They should be kept (if kept at all) in shooting ranges, and if you need to have that sort of "fun", then show your ID, join the gun club, and have at it in a controlled environment. If you're not in the military or law enforcement fighting for your life, you do not need this sort of weapon.

Guns don't kill people. People with guns kill people!

Hey my fellow Satchlings *waves*

i don't post on here enough :( just wanted to say a big HELLO and HAPPY CHRISTMAS! to Joe and my fellow Satch fans around the world! >=:)

very sad about the shooting in Newtown :_( i've prayed for the parents of the 20 children who were so cruelly taken from them. when looking at the photos of the kids on tv, i said to my mum "Jesus was busy last friday", i know he holds them in his arms. i wish the news would stop showing the photo of the awful man who did this >:/ it just sends a bad message that if you do something this bad, we'll put your face on tv over and over again for the whole world to see.

M - his demos he's been releasing are really great! And how fantastic that he has put up loads of items, including things using his personal time, at the Pledge Music site that supports Why Hunger. By jove, if I lived in the US I would have jumped on the solo HOUSE SHOW - imagine Davy K in your living room!! - and the PRS guitar, and the mandolin, and the Skype lessons, and lifetime tickets to his shows etc etc etc. As it is, I have my name being listed on his next CD, a signed setlist and a few other goodies. He's a lovely kid, and his music is fab.

Happy holidays everyone, I hope you all give your family and friends an extra hug, appreciate and enjoy it having them around, chillax, listen to lots of Joe, and love life.

You must've seen a message like this a million times but I gotta: Your music has set the course for me. Since I first heard Satch Boogie I knew what I had to do with the Ibanez GAX30 I had gotten a few months before. After that I studied theory, modes and whatever I could get into. My latest thrill is chords, I bought the Joe Pass Guitar Chords book(after seeing you talk a little about it) and I am absolutely in love with it. Obviously I want to be an instrumental player, as I wish to someday play a G3 concert.

Thanks for all the inspiration, the tips and for everything Joe, you Rock man!

Lotta loons gonna be wiggin' out tomorrow. Just be aware of your surroundings. I love how gun sales have gone through the roof this week. F'n vages - the whole lot of 'em! Here's to hoping all the Doomsday preppers lock themselves in their holes in the ground and lose the keys.
