Isn't it supposed to be very safe to be in a plane for lightning strikes?

Crikey, hit by lightning! I do think planes have lightning protection though. At least Joe wouldn't have had his haired frizzed.......

I don't see Beijing, China. How can you call this a "world tour"? I only see Europe. Europe is the world? Come on Satch, please come to Asia!!!!! I have already lived in Japan and Korea. I haven't seen you yet. Surely, you could come to Beijing. Please. Others are waiting too.

I honestly don't think romney has a chance, He's the governor of Massachusetts yet Massachusetts isn't voting for him. That should be a hint right there. Also his running mate already has a plan B and is still running for congress, so he doesn't believe 100% that romney will win. So his own running mate and his own state don't believe in him. So gratz on the second term prez.

Thanks everyone for all your prayers and concerns and good thoughts.

John Dow Selby May 16, 1922 - October 23, 2012 He was a man who lived his "dash" well.

I saw and spoke to him just this morning, something made me go to the hospital before work and I'm so glad I did...we got a chance to talk, kiss, tell him I loved him so much and that his "girlfriend" and grandson would be up to see him at 9 am, which made him very happy. They did get there, but he wasn't really conscious by then. We still had hope though, he had pneumonia and we thought we'd get him through. The hospital called me at 12:45 to say come now...and I raced up there, calling family all the way up to hurry.

He was gone when I got there. The Dr. and nurse were holding his hands when he passed in his sleep. It was very peaceful for him...and now he's not struggling any more, no more pain or suffering of any kind.

I know he's with his loved ones and friends now, and is young, strong and kicking up his heels again. I love him with all my heart, he was the most special man in my life, ever. He was a wonderful poppa.

I just don't know how to be without him...how does a girl say goodbye to her dad? Or a grandson to the one grampa who loved and cared for him? I guess we'll figure it out together.

This morning I woke up, still having a father. I don't know how I face tomorrow...but still have my momma to look after, and Chris. So I guess that's how a person keeps going.

I'm so sorry T, I just lost my grandma about a month ago. I've never seen my dad cry until then. Its one of those things that you never get over but life goes on. Just hang in there.
