Deb, going to a show should be fun, but there are a LOT of fucktards out there with evil on their minds. It's a damn shame.

Toosh, I'da waved back if I knew what direction you were in. Hell, who am I kidding? I'm as directionally challenged as Stevie Wonder. Best to wave to all four corners. lol! What brought you to Philly? I do happen to be in Michellica mode.

Hello Joe & Everybody

Been a while since I posted. Hope everyone here is doing well.

My running season is coming along well, especially since I hired a trainer/coach. My times have gotten better, plus I'm putting in more mileage every month. My 5Ks, 10Ks, half & full marathon times have all gotten better this year. Recently, I just did a 5K race yesterday and placed 5th overall out of 200+ participants, and took 1st in my age group. My time was 17:19 (my 3rd fastest 5K).

I am still with the Fort Wayne Track Club, but I might make this my last year with them. I want to focus on more full & half marathons, plus do a marathon in each of the 50 states. I've already have three states down (Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan) and state #4 is coming up soon.

My next race will be my third marathon this year, which will be held in Hawaii. I'm running the Kona Marathon on June 24th. As for the first two, I've ran the Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon back in February (Saturday & Sunday event) and won it on Sunday; plus ran the Earth Day Marathon back in April and won that to. The results for those, if you want to check it out, is on marathonguide.com.

Joe & everyone: Hope you all have a good Father's Day. I'll be talking with my Dad soon. Chat with you all later.

Grant

Ox, I had it in my hand, but put it down and bought Joe Walsh's new cd instead for my hubs for Father's Day.

The last few cd's I've bought have wound up on Spotify just as quick as they're released. That's cool if you want to preview an album before you buy it, but it REALLY sucks for the artists. How can they make any money if their music is online for free as soon as it's released?

THIS GUY IS JUST AMAZING

For those who don't know him his stage name is buckethead (because of the bucket he wears on his head) he learned guitar with Paul gilbert for few years and he is a verry strange an prolific guitarist. He's done a lot of album. But many of them are experimental music and quite strange but a few of them are more 'classics' and verry verry cool. He palyed a few time in gun n roses and co-wrote some song of their last album and also made Albums under the name of Death cube K ( I think someone has this name for pseudo). If you've got the time take a look on his wikipedia page it's quite funny :)

HI JOE , i'm William (54 yo) France. I am sorry not to have joined rather, because I am all the same a little a fan of the fact that you makes since a moment, first album ( cd ) bought in 1987, and practically all the cd. I had the privilege to see you when you came to Zenith to Paris ( Schenker-Rondat-Uli Jon Roth) a big moment in spite of the very bad performance of Schenker. My question, hates you as much France as that to come so rarely? Nevertheless I know quite a lot of people who appreciate what you makes.

I play the guitar recently, I possess one Jackson Performer outing of a X2N, an multi-effects BOSS ME-50 and an ampli Behringer 300W, and soon to get myself a JS100 BK, regrettably having no means to take a JS1000 ^_^

In Philly airport I asked for a beer and as the long list was being recited I feared I might miss my flight waiting for the list to be finished so I said Blue Moon would be fine. It came in a poncey curvy tall glass with a chunk of orange stuck on top, and it was cloudy. Eek!! Huge slurp and eight seconds later the glass was empty, you look like you enjoyed that, do you want another the waitress said, not likely said I, gimme a Sam Adams in a straight glass! *ole Steve thanks his lucky stars no=one he knew saw him drinking a strange looking drink from such a receptacle!*

It's like that cause it's unfiltered and supposed to be served with an orange to get the full taste!

The Sam Adams in a straight glass worked fine. But the image of that cloudy muck in a bucket with a big wedge of orange stuck in the rim made me smile.

Sorry Moonie, I know the so called principle behind it but it just seems like a poncey gimmick to me like sticking lemon in the neck of mexican beer bottles. I guess i'm an old fashioned old fart that prefers straight forward real ale. Having said that, all beer is good (in it's own way). I do find it hard to grasp though that someone would brew a beer with the express purpose of pouring it over fruit for it to taste right. Mebbe i should change my name to Terry Dactyl.

Listened to my Super colossal cd this afternoon. It's been a long time I haven't done it ( usually I listened to the ultramegafantastic live 2006 ! ) It makes me rediscover songs like "theme for a strange world", "It' so good" and especially Movin' on. What a fantastic song and what a genius Joe is !

I love Blue Moon with a slice of orange in it...it's very refreshing but then again Ima bit of a lite weight when it comes to alcoholic beverages.. ;)

hellfredo- Thanks for mentioning Super colossal... been listening to it since I saw your post. I never give that one enough attention :-)

Don't mind one or two Blue Moons but they get a bit annoying after that

I have expensive tastes these days when it comes to beer, rarely drink the mass produced generic crap anymore.tastes like crap compared to what you could be drinking
