Davy is such a nice guy and was clearly smitten with Amber a long time ago. It's great that they are getting married.

@bluebuffalo: Yeah Sammy was being really cool about signing stuff for people. He eventually signed my Chickenfoot tour t-shirt that I had laying down on the front of the stage also over on the left side.

I do also think the show could have been a bit longer. Two hours was over way too quickly! :)

Hey...Check these Chickenfoot photos out! I would like to see your pics too! I took a couple I really like...enjoy...hard to believe Joe hit me with a pick in the 8th row...cool show , the band was tight. Sammy made reference to the band must have been rehearsing without him lol , I think Joe had something to do with that. Sammy sounded the best that I have heard him with Chickenfoot , Joe was his awesome self , Michael was great , could actually hear what he was playing. A very good bass player. Kenny was impressive , enjoyed his playing!

Black Stone Cherry was good but played louder than Chickenfoot..had my earplugs buried deep...sucked because they played a good set...wasn't impressed with the volume.

Joe - TERRANOVA here in Houston Texas "Chris Terranova" Very good friend of Kyle Jones at Satge Call in Nashville. Galen and Kyle know each other. You signed my JS1000 in Austin Texas and said one day you would like to hear the story on why TERRANOVA was written on the back of my Guitar. "Just my family Italian name means "new earth" My band is called "Big Noyzz" members been togather for over 25 years. You are my favorite guitarist and my Idol. Never miss any of your shows in Houston.

I want to know what effect you are using on "Oh Yea" where the guitar suddenly thickens?

Hi Joe.

May I just start with saying that the G3 tour you did in Brisbane not too long back was the most amazing concert of my life. It was my first time seeing you live and it will definitely not be the last. You are such an inspiration to my guitar playing and my life.

Its unfortunate that you do not give lessons anymore, though, I guess I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway, as demanding as it would be, I just can't find a good guitar teacher in the area of Australia I am in and whenever I read interviews or advice from you that I find on the Internet, I am instantly inspired. You have no idea how much inspiration I would be able to find from a 30 minute guitar lesson.

Oh well, I guess my main question is: Why don't you play If I Could Fly live? I can't find any live videos of the song anywhere and you never seem to play it in any shows recently. It's my favourite song and I was just wondering if there was a particular reason?

Thanks for reading,

Jayden

Hey Starbucks fans, have you heard about the new "trente" size coffee? It's 30 ounces!! I read that the cup is so big, it actually holds an entire bottle of wine! So, from coffee buzz to booze buzz ~ cheers!

Anybody hear the new Joe Walsh yet? I find that guy very entertaining :-)

Joe, I am Shravan from India. I wanted to ask, and say a few things. I have read a lot about you, your life, career, etc. Why i am posting here is, i am 19, passionate, desperate, with all love, and with one acoustic guitar that i have with me, I want to make it big. I don't want to be a musician for fame or name or anything. But just for the sake of tasting that sense of music, to express myself through music. So many out here, they use their skill, whatever it may be, to impress people. But i want to use it to express myself, my emotions, and my messages to people and touch people's hearts, souls and lives. I set out to learn guitar myself, because, i am doing my engineering in university, and the place i live in, there are no tutors, and I can't afford one though. I don't have money except for paying for university education, and i started working online part time, recently, to make some money for supporting my music. I have an acoustic guitar, i am learning from net, with whatever i could get my hands on, but I wanna learn and become big. I read that you coached Steve vai, and many legendary guitarists, kirk hammett!, etc...I know this is crazy, that even after knowing you can't do anything about this, i am still posting it here.

I wanna learn from you Joe. I want to be your student. I cannot afford a book, a course, even from online, internet, etc. I could learn from net, coz i get my classmate's internet facility in college sometimes to use it to learn. But i feel like i am getting nowhere. I wanna study in berkelee, or Musicians institute, and i wanna do a course in music composition too.

When i first heard few musical pieces, and when i first got my hands on a guitar, I knew what i should be doing for the rest of my life. That i wanted to be a musician, i want to be, and i will always want to. I am so very passionate about it but i am helpless. People around, few in music, they are busy, and even if they aren't so trained, they are so money oriented, and well, yeah, it's right that i can't look for someone who will teach me freely, but still, i seriously don't know how to get there. I am making all possible efforts that i could do from my side to do things. I am working online and saving up some money to buy a good electric guitar, probably a les paul copy, may be from epiphone. Coz, i am into rock, blues rock, and such stuffs, something like Eric clapton's style, tommy emmanuel's style..etc.I love music, and i feel within that, i want to do this for the rest of my life, even if it is going to pay me less,or even if i am going to be a pauper. I will be happy doing it. But i dont have help from any side of my life. My parents want me to complete engineering, and do a MS in america, and then Ph.D, getting loans, and getting a high paying job, settling loan myself, and settling well in life. After all, they are parents, they wish good for me right? But they can't understand that passion i have for music. They didn't take this in me, seriously. They think, just because nobody from our family, not even our ancestors had a musical background, they think that i won't be able to shine or be a good musician, someone who would get acknowledged and received by people well. But i feel from within that this is what i want to do. I have felt, if all the doors are shut, no money to support myself, no support from parents, no friends at all, and with a career choice to make, with all these difficulties, why should God give me this kind of a feeling, thought that i want to be a musician, guitarist, singer...that i want to do this for my entire life?.I felt, there is a reason that happened, and i want to follow my instinct. But i dont know how to do it. I would be very pleased if you can show me some way. Coz, in my view,Music is the only thing, that has divinity left in this world in its pure form.I am cornered, helpless, but i am here, with a lot of passion and a heart full of love into it,guitar, music and soulfulness in life.
