Chee, Thanks for the well wishes for my sis. Three incisions, a couple of tubes here and there, and some morphine and she's a-ok so far. No results yet. They had her off the oxygen a bit, and her oxygen count went from 92 to 80, so they put her back on. It really gotta suck to feel like you're suffocating every day. I just hope the results are something fixable. The doctors here dicked around for over 10 years. She finally found a good doc that LISTENS to her at a good hospital 2 hours from here (1 hr from her house). I called to talk to the nurse, but they connected me to her. She talked my ear off, thank you morphine. She was uncomfortable and in pain, but it wasn't *%#@&$!! pain, just OW! pain.
Nemo is here. We usually call it snow. God bless those up north. They be gettin' their asses whooped! We didn't even get an inch here yet, but it's still snowing. We're on the ass end of the hoopla. Just hope those on the coast who have no insulation in their homes yet from SS Sandy and are freezing don't get hit to hard.
A lot of peeps don't like Rush. I guess if you didn't get your mind blown back in the day and come in with the newer stuff, it's just not the same. I love listening to this in the car, but my kids hate Glenn Hughes voice. lol! Whatever makes you happy I guess. lol!

Hey T2Jers! I'm now at this moniker. Ibanezplayer has been stolen so'os don't accept any email from that address! Steven Wilde says hi. he misses all of you and sends his well wishes. I have been taking a break from the guitar....only because I smashed my first finger with a hammer while putting in new flooring at my step daughters house. I'm waiting for the blister to go down so'os I don't have raw skin to deal with. Have been busy at work until this week when it slows way down. A little less hours but I was prepared for it. DId you ever play guitar at woodin Ships in Sea cliff long island? It was a small bar that a lot of rock guitarist used to play at many years ago. I remember seeing a guitarist there many many years ago. He said he had 8 years experience at tha time and he looked a little like you. I told him he was awesome. I think he played a Jeff beck song and maybe the rover - its been a long time.

P.Lily, thanks. She was in pain today. The drainage tube in her side was bothering her and she was pretty uncomfortable. She's also giddy in the belly, so she's mainly eating crackers. I hope she feels better tomorrow. They want her up walking at least 6x a day so she doesn't get any blood clots. They gave her a shot of blood thinner in her belly this morning because she was to sick to walk much yesterday. Now, she's walking no matter what. lol! She said that shot hurt like a b*tch!
The Grammys were actually almost decent this year! The Bob Marley Tribute was very cool. Ziggy & Damian should have gotten much more stage time though. Damian's dreads are so friggin long! That's a lifetime of hair! They gotta weigh a few pounds being all the way to the floor ffs!

Just bought tickets for the show in 013-tilburg; I am really looking forward to that event. But if there is one phenomena I would like to sense it must be the start of the tour in Istanbul. Because when the first notes of Asik Veysel will blend in the arena, I am sure it will electrify the crowd and transcend the audience and band to new levels. East meets west, west meets east right there in Istanbul. For a moment or two no longer old borders will hold their lines. Nothing stops me to go and watch though...

I have been a massive fan of your music and was so inspired that I finally took the challenge up of learning guitar 12 years ago.There are not many teachers in the remote area of Scoltand I live in but thanks to your lessons and others on the Internet, I'm still making progress. I wrote a piece called "Remembering Then", a "Celtic" ballad type melody that was truly inspired by your classic Always with Me..." I used a keyboard & drum machine for accompaniment. While its a simple song (technically) I have had some good feedback. As I have told people you were the inspiration, they suggested I should try to send you a copy as a thank you.
I would so much like to send you an MP3 of it for your precious feedback. Would this be possible?
