I didn't dare...
We met in 2014, the 2nd of Jully at Clermont-Ferrand (meet and greet) and i didn't dare to tell you what i had to. I don't know why but i didn't dare.
I've just joked on the fact we were both bald for the same reasons and who was the fastest of us to shave his head. Well, i've been stupidly shy. I had a real question to ask, but i didn't dare.
So, here's what i wanted to tell you. Some of us are creating a "link" between important times of their lifes and a piece of art. (Whatever it is, a painting, a sculpture, a song, etc...) In my case, it's your music. Your songs are like bookmarks in my existence since 1986 and "Not of this earth". Your music does have those special effects on my moods : amplifies my emotions, ease my pains and raises my joices. That's what i wanted to tell you. I don't know why, but i didn't dare.
Coming out of what i had to tell, there's a question i had to ask. As i didn't told you what i had to, i know why i didn't dare.
Here's my question.
How does it feels for you to have the same or even a bigger importance in some peoples lifes than Jimi Hendrix had in your own life ?

Hello Mister Satch
I am Erwan from Marseille France,10 years old (my dady translates...)
I play guitar since nearly 2 years on my Squier mini and I am already a great fan: my dad invites me twice this summer to see you: July 8th and July 26th!!
I really hope to meet with you to sign our CDs!
In the meantime please have a look at my interpretation of your great "always with me, always with you" (I have worked upon not enough yet!):
Youtube Erwan 'always with me, always with you'
Bye
See you soon in south of France!

Hey T2Jers,
from the conversation I had on the phone, just about all of the VIP/M&G tickets are gone for the Perth show at the Astor Theatre >=:) ~30 tickets, one is mine \m/^_^\m/ front row, left of the middle.
I listened to UM again today and I think my fav. track right now is IPASOYC, it's short but so beautiful.

Skippygirl - I prefer BS&WW to UM but not every album is going to be the same >=:) that's what makes Joe such a great artist/guitarist.
do you have Paul Gilbert's new album? it's amazing!! I wish he would do a solo tour of OZ for it. there are 11 songs and 8 of them are cover songs, but he makes them his own. I'm not an Elton John fan but Paul covers 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and in the words of Ron Burgundy, Paul completely "rips the lid off it!!!" \m/^_^\m/

BigBunny I've never given Paul Gilbert a try even with all the T2Jers and others who talk about him. I'll check him out on YT when I get a chance. Too many bands and artists not enough time!
Thanks for coming to Melbourne Joe xxx

WAWAN SOLO.. I watched your AWYAWM cover. Great effort!
Here's a tip.. Tap with your middle finger therefore you don't have to put the pick down. Maybe try a light gauge string so you can bend those notes and work on the finger strength.
Get a Boss CH1 to brighten up the sound.
BIG BUNNY.. Thanks for the recommendation on Paul Gilbert but my virtuoso team is full. I have no more space for another. I've got a enough shredders on my dream team.
SATCH.. Seems like the last time you posted was about a year ago. Please keep up to date with your fans! I posted my wish set list.

Padmasana... 7:29 Too many Buckethead examples of his awesomeness to be frank, there is something for all once they give it a chance and don't let the mask stuff get in the way

BIG BUNNY..
Echo song was good.
Cannot tell a lie.. Sound a lot like Vai in this one. Nice song though.
Still not convinced! He's great, don't get me wrong but something's missing for me. That signature sound maybe!
Buckethead for sure in the G3, Kirk Hammett and of course Mr. Edward Van Halen. Tell me you built a Frankentstrat too... I got mine!
Gonna bump my Set List for Satch otherwise he won't read it.

Hi Satch,
My ultimate wish set list...
1. LORDS OF KARMA - My favorite track of all time.. Please play with an extended outro with LOTS of harmony
2. NOT OF THIS EARTH - A must live.. with a lot of bass!!
3. I BELIEVE - My partner's favorite track.. she's coming too
4. BANANA MANGO II - Much darker than the first
5. RUBINA - Album version please. The PH in the solo!! Have seen all live versions in youtube but you never do the PH. Also a slow tempo version would really set the mood
6. LOVE THING - I can play it too!!
7. THINKING OF YOU - I'm still trying to figure out how you play the trill bit..
8. CANT SLOW DOWN - Definitely an awesome vocal track
9. COOL 9 - 1996 G3 Version - Very bluesy and does sound very different
Thank you

It's a beautiful track.
Judging by your favourite Satch song and the Paul Gilbert recommendations from you, you're into ballads right?
How 'bout Vai's Hand on Heart? Or Satch's Thinking of you.. especially the 2'nd solo. That part always gets to me.

I'm not that into ballads, for example I also love 'House Full of Bullets' and bang my head along with it >=;)
I love Vai's ballad 'Feathers' & 'Mulloch Atsi' (sp?).
I haven't listened to Time Machine for awhile, that's where 'Thinking of you' is on, right?
