If my financial situation doesn't improve before October, I will probably only go to the Spokane show since it is about an hour closer than Salem. If that's the case, I will offer my ticket up to someone here.

I really hope I can make it to Salem, though. Excited to see you guys!

My illusion was shattered yesterday by my daughters. Since I got my UM T-shirt I''ve been saying that "Joe has touched my shirt and signed it". If you take a good look at the cd cover and shirts. Right next to the right foot the black squiggly line looks like JS. So I thought I had an autographed shirt. My daughters couldn't let me live in my fantasy hell no. "Dad that's the chord for the guitar" Such is reality they were right and I was disillusioned. lol. I'll just have to believe what I want. heh heh

Hey Everyone.

Marathon #5 & State #9 is now in the books. I ran the Berryman Trail Marathon down here in Missouri. This was by far one of the toughest marathons I have ever done. This was definitely an experience to run this marathon, which I also heard that it is one of the toughest trail marathons ever.

I ended up with a time of 3:25:12, which was good for 2nd place overall. Not bad for running a trail marathon for the first time. The winner was almost 7 minutes ahead of me, and he was an experienced trail runner, whom ran these trails before.

I have learned a lot from this marathon. This was definitely a test of endurance, and as much as I wanted to try to win it, I can't always win them all. It takes a true sport to learn how/when to accept defeat. You have to take it like a grain of sand and move forward, which is what I am doing. Marathon #6 and State #10 now in three weeks. I will be running Hatfield-McCoy Marathon down in Kentucky/West Virginia area.

TTYL Peeps!

Grant

Can't wait to see Joe on the 10th of June in Newcastle! It's been 3 years, and him and mr. vai both stand out in my head as the best gigs i've ever been to. 10th of June is luckily my younger brothers birthday, so the lucky thing gets to see Joe as a present!

Turbo236- thanks for the setlist that's cool.

It seems to be good,a lot of new songs from Unstoppable momentum and older classics... Devil's slide and Weight of the world are not myfavorite songs but all the rest pleases me. Maybe I would had add one or two songs coming from Satchafunkilus or from Wormhole wiz' (I'm thinking of Andalusia...) but it's just my personal taste... Cryin' is one of my favorite songs, I'm so happy to see it on the setlist, and I can't wait to hear the new songs live ! Anyone knows if it is a setlist for the whole tour or if there will be some changes ? Asik Vaysel was THE song to play in Turquey.

Hey Joe, wher you goin with that gun in your hand? Ha ha! I am probably your biggest fan. But who knows? I am fortunate to be catching your Unstoppable Momentum show on September 2nd in Albuquerque,New Mexico. I am extremely fortunate to be able to purchase my first meet and greet. Am so excited that i practically cant believe it is going to happen. Will be sitting first row, center stage. Please play Turkey Man. Saw you in Phoenix for Engines of Creation and you played it there. That is such a cool tune. Look forward to pickin your head a bit in Albuquerque.

Ooohhh Yeeeaaahhhh!!! I met him at last.. My dream came true on Friday at an autograph session. I met Joe, got an autograph, couldn't hug him because of the Turkish security bastard. But shook his hand and talked to him for about 30 seconds only cause there were many many people. I had to speak really fast to tell him what I feel but of course it was not enough. Then I went to the end of the line and after 15 minutes I met him again :-) Talked to him for another 30 seconds :-) Actually worshipped him :-)

And on Saturday night (last nite) I went to the concert. Man it was amazing! I was home all day yesterday. I watched Satriani concert Dvd's for about 5-6 hours, then went to the concert. As a fan watching his concert dvd's million times at home, seeing him live on stage was much more emotional for me. I allways found it funny when I saw girls crying and screaming for The Beatles, or Michael Jakcson but I must confess that I cried last night :-) At some point I was right in front of the stage and Joe was playing right in front of me. There were about 2-3 meters between us, and we was playing like God. So I found myself crying. At thesame time I was about to cum too :-) Oh man what a pleasure to watch Joe Satriani play..

Take care everyone... LOVE FROM ISTANBUL

Woah, little bit too much info there right? lol

Great to see the vids, awesomely interesting bit on vid no8 with the feedback on Always. Poor Joseph, but funn how he had a Murphys Law moment.

Had a chance to play guitar today, so broke at my very first guitar that ages ago got turned into Black Dog lol. Here's Shine on American Dreamer ... whilst the gear held together!

New album time always followed by new tour and new board activity. It's a good time, as good times go of late

Hope all is cool with everyone, P

Pay attention to the sweep picking section of Cool #9 and see if you can spot the 'trick' ;-) I thought it was only amateurs like me that do that, not guitar gods lol. Love ya Joseph, awesome
