Big Bunny and Suzi 2000, thank you. He did have a good long life and for that I'm always going to be grateful. It still just doesn't feel totally real yet sometimes...and then at other times the pain hits hard. My momma feels the same. She's very lonely without her "big fella" to take care of.

it's nice to see both you ladies posting on the board, been a very long time, esp for u Suzi. I hope all is well for both of you and guess what? Joe is coming both yer ways in 2013!! I hope you make at least one master class/show!! I'm anxious to see the rest of his tour schedule but will have to start saving pennies now if we hope to see him even once here.

Looking at the pics from New York make me sick in the stomach. God bless the first responders who risk their own lives to save others.

Since I live in PA, they were mostly showing the devastation on the coast in New Jersey, which is beyond belief in itself. Today is the first I've seen the insane amount of damage in NY. Unbelievable. It's just mind blowing how many people have been affected on the east coast. May God give them the strength to get through this.

Thanks to anyone who was thinking of me. Thinking what we were seeing happen in NJ was coming our way was so stressful. By the grace of God we were spared . There are downed trees and power outages around here. That sort of thing happens throughout the year when bad storms come through. Some areas were hit way harder than others, but nothing compares to the massive damage on the coast. It's a living nightmare.

It's a very sad day. Very sad.

Do you think God is waiting for all of those who do good for the good of mankind, or do you think he's waiting for these people who are so afraid of life they use Gods name to spread hate and fear. Paaa-thetic.

MJK, are you back in Jersey? Hope you're okay. Gotta throw Rich an email and see how he's doing. Hope you guys are good.

Wow, i don't know why this shocks me, but it does. Blaming Obama for responding to Hurricane Sandy to quickly? Seriously?? This is the LAST guy who should ever throw a stone in that direction.

Obama started hurricane Sandy

I can see it in his eyes

I don't think any new-born kids will be called Katrina or Sandy any time soon

Ugh its one of those things. I respect romney for helping out and volunteering, but the question is why is he doing it? Is he doing it out of kindness or is he doing it so people will vote for him? Especially after paul ryan's bogus "volunteering" photo op. I am always skeptical when I see someone running for an election doing charity or volunteering.

Forgive me please, but I really enjoy this

MattS, "The Red Cross does not accept donated goods, however. As its website explains, “Items such as collected food, used clothing and shoes must be sorted, cleaned, repackaged and transported, which impedes the valuable resources of money, time, and personnel.” So, despite Romney’s best intentions, his campaign’s relief efforts will provide little more help to hurricane victims than Paul Ryan’s infamous soup kitchen stunt provided to Youngstown, Ohio’s homeless."

They know nothing about services for people in need.

Romney's side can only win by theft and deception. Pretty bad when a company CEO calls him out for blatantly lying merely for his political advancement I guess everyone's "eye may be off" when they look at a campaign that has been full of flat out lies and deception that have been proven to be just that time and time again.

If you thought 8 years didn't dig a big enough hole under GW - you better learn the words to this bitch, cause it's what yer all gonna be singing.

My daughter has to fill out an absentee ballot for the first time since she's out of state right now. She had to let it dry out from the hurricane before she could write on it. Hopefully she'll get it in on time. Everything with her move happened so fast she didn't have time to get on it sooner, so she's cutting it to the wire.

I would love to know how many of these early and absentee ballots never get counted. Guess it also helps if your son has some stock in the voting machines in a swing state and you support a company that's been known to throw the other parties ballots in the trash. WINNING!

You know you wanna click it!

OH, hold up! Standing ovation for sis there! WOOT!

Maybe more people should watch this.

Just aheads up - if you book to see Joe at the IndigO2, its a lot of standing (shown as stalls in blue on their seat plan), or the seats on the Kings Row, a bit farther back :-(. I phoned to check, & they confirmed there was a mistake. I can't stand all that time so have opted to go to Shepherds Bush. Thanks for coming over Joe :-) x

Cheese101 - how are things today? I raised a glass, just the one I might add, and spent a few moments thinking of you all

I'm also wondering how you East Coasters are doing? I know you guys like to supersize everything but perhaps leave the winds out of it... unbelieveable stuff

JOE, congratulated the new formation of the band, but this guy is dirty, then say it's just that there are thieves in Brazil, but stealing his guitar chrome is lack of respect, let us unite fans is to return it to Joe, my late father always said, God rest his soul, never take something that does not belong to you, know that it is not by necessity, but by leaving their guitars out their expressions would give anything to have one of these guitars, but never steal one , a hug, Silvio-Brazil.

Had an appointment today, and the receptionist checked me in then had to leave the office for an hour. Her home has no power, and she has a well for her water, which doesn't work without electricity. Their generator can only run a few hours a day, so they have to choose wisely what to do in that allotted time. She had friends that had rented a hotel room (also no power), and they were nice enough to see if she wanted to run over to take a shower quick before they checked out for the day. She is one of the "lucky" ones with a generator. Most people don't have them. Four out of six of the local schools have no electricity, so the kids have been off three days so far. Again, we're the lucky ones. So, so many with no power, flooding, tree and/or wind damage, or have no home left at all. Many also lost their vehicles so they have no transportation. Even though the storm has passed, please keep the people on the east coast in your prayers.

Somebody said it was Halloween. How did that get here already?

MJK, are you still in Brick? I talked to Rich up in Sewell. They had the wicked wind there like we did here. No damage. Glad the big guy packed up the wife & dog and moved to AZ...not that dust storms are any fun...but hurricanes suck pretty bad.

Keeping all y'all in my prayers!

Chelle, currently in west long branch which is a hair north of brick. Personally, I did not suffer any damages thank god. My fiancé and family are safe as well. The winds were scary the amount of trees that had fallen...never seem such destruction. I hope Rich is ok...he used to be a bit south so I've been worried. Thanks for the heads up!

Crap! I keep forgetting it's Halloween. Still didn't buy any candy. Anybody shows up early they're getting cans of tuna. lol! Hey, I thought we were gonna have a blackout so I stocked up! lol! A can of tuna or an orange. Your choice kid. lol!

A day after the storm - not 5 days.

Such a douche!

I was and am against it, but since you did it and it was extremely successful, I'll take credit for it. Are people really that dumb?

Even better! there are any number of reasons why Romney doesn’t want to release more of his taxes—it’s possible he participated in an IRS amnesty program for secret foreign bank accounts; it’s more possible he gamed the system to avoid taxes on his huge retirement account and his sons’ $100 million trust fund, or that he paid very, very low rates these past couple years as a result of a tax code that favors people like him whose income is mainly taxed as capital gains.

Honest Abe is rolling over. lmao!

LOL! I'm just keep rolling in this same box...

REMINDER FOR REPUBLICANS: Do not accept any government help today. YOU built that. YOU can clear the roads. YOU can restore power, not FEMA.
