Response to We the People Petition on D. Randall Blythe

We appreciate your inquiry about the case of D. Randall Blythe, who was released from detention in the Czech Republic on August 3, 2012, and returned to the United States shortly thereafter. Mr. Blythe has publicly stated his intention to return to the Czech Republic to face trial for the alleged manslaughter of a Czech man at a concert in 2010. He recently told MTV, "It's the correct thing for me to do ... this poor young man's family deserves some answers." Pending Mr. Blythe’s trial, we cannot discuss the details of his case. We are closely monitoring the progress of his trial.

The Department of State noted in its 2011 Human Rights Report that in the Czech Republic, “The laws provide for the right to a fair trial, and the independent judiciary generally enforced this right.” We expect that the Czech government will make all efforts to ensure a fair, transparent, and timely trial for Mr. Blythe, and guarantee full protection of his legal rights under Czech law and his welfare.

Hello Joe,

My name is Nikolesy from Sydney, Australia. I came to America at the start of this year so I can meet you. Had no luck. I travelled around the world twice this year so I can get my girl back. It's been a rollercoaster ride. I'm back to square 1. I met this girl when I was overseas in Europe last year and introduced her to Rock n Roll and your music.. She is now a huge fan, and has introduced your music to all her friends who had no idea what Rock was. She broke up with me late last year and now I'm trying to get her back. Hence the trip to the States in February of this year to try and meet with you so you can help me write a short song for her. I know that may be impossible but I will try again hence I'm writing this short message. When I was in the States, one friend I met in a bar at Malibu said to me why didn't they play any of your songs at that bar yet they played other related music.. Yet you are the best of them. What I would like to do Joe is see if I can book a lesson with you. I don't know what avenue to take. Hope to hear from you.

All right, I ordered a Peavey JSX half stack to go along with my JS1000. Now I can finally roll with the big boys!

So like, this is the last one for a loooong while then. 12/12/12. Kind of a big deal really beings they'll be no 13/13/13 etc...
