Joe, I know Marian lives close to the coast, and I pray she and her family are okay. Not sure where Joan, Carol and brother John live, but the Satriani family is in my heart.. It's unbelievable really. So much damage. Like I said to Matt, at a time like this I'm glad JR is in AZ. Hope his kids are safe. No idea where they're gonna find all the funds to fix so much damage, but slowly things will start move forward, and hearts will start to heal.

2012 has been...batshit crazy.

Also hope Steve's family is okay. Man, so many "famous" people came from that area...musicians and otherwise.

Joe - I hope they're all accounted for soon. I'm sure they will be.

Whenever these things happen (and we had a massive cyclone over most of Queensland a little while ago) I think about the elderly or infirm and litlle kids being frightened out of their wits by the noise and destruction going on for hours, and nobody can help them, they have to tough it out and hope they get through. I've been reading media reports about people who decided to stay in their apartment building only to have the lower floors flood and gas start to leak through the building and they were stuck. And a couple went out with their dog into the street for some reason and three trees crashed down and killed them. Good grief, you can't win either way.

Hello Satchland, hello dear friends, hello Joe !!

Just stop here to say hello to all of you and to send my best vibes and prayers to all friends in East Coast. I have Portuguese friends in Newark (Portuguese Community) and they are suffering too :-(. It`s incredible the power of nature. In Portugal we don`t have nothing like that, i can`t imagine how is it but the images on tv are very tough.

Dear friends all the best for all of you, take care and warm regards.

Later, love

Alexandre Caetano

Need a smile - NPH & family

JSBD, yeah, we're fine here, thanks, but a lot of my friends still don't have power. Lots of trees down on wires, houses, and cars. Some roads blocked by trees or flooding. We were very lucky, and I've been thanking Jesus since I opened my eyes Tuesday morning.

Skippy, I've heard a few stories of people moving to a different spot, and BAM, a tree fell on them. Like literally they just got in or out of their cars, or walked to a certain spot, and a tree came down on them. Like it's some crazy video game where you have to wait till the person gets in just the right spot, then you get them. It really confirms my belief that when God calls your number, it's time to go. My stomach is churning just thinking about the families of all those people. It makes me wanna cry.

Alexandre my friend, your posts always bring a smile to my face. I hope you are well and have a happy heart. Kisses to you too. Much love to your family, and your friends in Newark NJ.

Every day I wake up with a different song in my head. Today it's THIS

Sing it! lol!

NBC holding a benefit concert for Sandy victims

This made me laugh HARD!

Hey Joe,

Found out recently about the 2013 european tour. How about coming to Wales this time around. It would be great to see you in my country again, last time was the EXTREMIST tour, bloody fantastic it was too. Saw you on the Wormhole tour in Colston Hall Bristol, great show, shame about the venue, and the crowd, mostly were a bunch of stiffs, security were a pain. Anyway Joe, keep us all rocking and inspired.

cheers Viv

Bronco Bamma FTW!

So, any thoughts on Mayor Bloomberg's decision to keep the NY Marathon on for Sunday? Here's the course. That's a LOT of people running through a lot of tore up areas. I know those people have a ton of clean up to do, and i know if I would have to put my clean up on hold over a weekend just so some people could run...c'maaan! Postpone it! IMO, the people hurting don't need a distraction, they need HELP! They will have water stations, fruit, PowerGels, Gatorade, Medical aid, toilets, and even bands to help motivate them - all for the runners, while thousands of cold hungry people need all of those things and haven't gotten anything yet. There's even a cheering zones for people to cheer on the runners.

I'm thinking, if these people have so much energy to burn off, how about they help the NY'er's with their clean up, share their water, food, and medical aid, and at the end of 12 hours they can all enjoy the bands and cheer for each other!

Maybe I just don't know enough about the monetary benefits of keeping the marathon going as scheduled, but I think there's enough chaos there already.

Any New Yorkers here to chime in?
