a big HELLO to my fellow Satchoholics! >=:) i just had to share my happiness about Joe coming to OZ in April 2013 \m/^_^\m/

Joe Satriani - i was at the Paul Gilbert Masterclass last night and was pleased to see you in the video at the end of the night! \m/^_^\m/ i got home at midnight and bought my tickets from Thump Music at 1:30am! i haven't seen you since the 2008 tour Joe, this is going to be great! >=:) makes up for G3 skipping Perth.

i know there are going to be Meet & Greet's, John from Thump Music said they will be through them but there's nothing on their site that says M&G with the ticket? let me know if i have to buy one through your site Joe \m/

Leanne >=:)

michelle i love Paul's new cd \m/ 8 new tracks, 4 of them with vocals & 3 live covers. the Masterclass last night was great! better venue then the VAI Masterclass last year and Paul played alot of cover songs while Steve only played 3 songs with a backing track. also Paul was kind enough to do a signing at the end of the night >=:) so i had the new cd signed (which i bought from cdjapan with the limited dvd).

Thump Music is based in Perth so i guess that was apart of the deal. this will be my 4th time seeing Joe, though at his 2005 gig i couldn't see him very well at Metro's Freo.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and good wishes/thoughts...we are hanging in but still struggling. After all possible tests have been run, they conclude he's under a "thyroid storm" which is causing absolute delerium and agitation. He's very combative. Trying to get his levels back down and then we'll see. It's so heartbreaking to see my dad this way, but he's always been a fighter so we just take it a minute at a time. Please keep it coming!

Congrats to Oz, that's fantastic that Joe is doing master classes there, don't miss it if you can help it, player or not!!! Go soak up allll the Joe-goodness you can!!

Congrats Matt King, your video was incredible so it's no surprise you're in the top 10 :) I wonder if there's a list anywhere of all the winners?

Oh and PS, I'm a social worker and I don't know anything about free iPhones. Where can I get one???? ;)

'At least when they get to the age of reason, there are places like PP that will help educate and protect them.'

i am sure that in some ways planned parenthood is providing a needed service. the poor and the young are the ones getting free abortions payed for by the taxpayer. others who have insurance can go to their normal doctor and have the fetus killed on their own dime.

my beef with planned parenthood is that they have a few shady people that are willing to provide services to the underage sex trade. there was a sting some time ago where the person came in posing as a pimp saying there were underage girls in need of birth control. he said they were 'in the business' and it was clear that he was asking for help from planned parenthood. i don't think an organization like that should get taxpayer money until they clean house. i don't need to have a vagina to have a problem with the killing of the unborn. fyi, it is against the law for the father of the said fetus to kill it, so why is it ok for the doctor or the mother? i know its your body, but there is another body inside that belongs to someone else. i still say if we have enough money to provide services to a million new illegal aliens every year then we can scrape up enough to provide for these unwanted children.

Sure, absolutely the father of the baby has a right to that decision. I believe that 100%. I'm saying that a bunch of suits have no right to the decisions made between the parents, or the mother when the father bails as soon as he gets the news. There are a lot of shady people in our very own government that get busted doing dumb stuff every day. We pay their full ride!! We pay for their health insurance, their self appointed bonuses, and a whoooole lot of stuff that most of us will never be lucky to have. That's our American government who were voted into office by people who trusted them to do a job FOR THE PEOPLE. That's not one office in the corner of America where a a pimp picked up birth control for his girls - which just makes me sick, but at least he was getting them protection.We do not fully fund PP like we fully fund civil servants.

To get back to my original point - to vote for someone simply on ONE issue, when so many of his other issues will take us backwards so far and so fast, and his foreign policy is asinine and will get us all killed, is just insane. People have to look at the entire picture, not one issue. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Tagg Romney "joked" that he wanted to jump up and punch Obama during the debates. Seriously?? WTF is this jackass gonna say to the press when his dad has to go up against hardcore heads of state that do not like America, and will really be pissed when Romney starts his pompous bully routine and insults everything they stand for? All we need is a president with a bunch of loose cannon jackass sons saying something inflammatory towards them, and it's gonna get ugly up in here! This presidency should not be picked for ONE issue. If you're worried about unborn fetuses being killed, go to your local high school and look those kids in the eye, because some of them might not be here in a few years when Romney jacks up another war with the rest of the world. I worry about the people that are already here. The people coming home with twisted minds and missing limbs. The people that are going to have to pay the price of another "send your kids, not mine" president. I pray for the babies who never make it into this world, but I pray harder for the ones who do.

Pretty sure they only won because they're girls. Not trying to be sexist here but I don't think its a coincidence that the only two girls in the top 96 both won. And neither of them were anything special.

I thought for sure since there were ten songs to choose from and ten winners, they would choose one of each song. It would at least make me feel better, because Matt King's cover was so amazing I wouldn't feel bad losing to him, but there were three winners that covered Dream Song, sooo....now I'm sad. :(

Thank you so much Joe, that means the world to us, and you do too as always. Life is full of beauty and sadness, I guess we need both to appreciate good times when things are hard, as well as help us get through the rough parts. Everyone here is so kind, and we appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts. Joe, you're the best! Safe travels!

hey Joe,new to this site ,but i love it...im a authorized fender repairman in K.C.(deal with lots of guitars} allso collect vintage strats etc. but i have allways played your J.S. models since the 80's ....i recently grabbed up another J.S.{used} get em whenever i can,and have a great collection of those allso. when i got this one on my bench i couldnt keep it in tune to save my life(worked with floyds for 20+ years) replaced the studs,made sure the trem blades were good,replaced the squash blocks at the nut, after days and hours trouble shooting i realized that the rear trem cavity route was totally out of allingment with the upper route,a total shocker,never seen that one before...thus the reason the previous owner probably sold it, the trem spring on the low E was rubbing the pocket,causing it to bind,dont know if the CNC was out of tolerace or perhaps the body wasnt set quite right in the machine.i did re route the cavity and all is good now...not bitchin at all,..( well a little i guess)just a heads up(i should probably send this to ibanez not you) you should know though, it has your name on it... i have worked for gibson guitars in the past, and i know Q.C. cant catch everything !! i love these J.S. models.thankyou for letting the rest of us enjoy them allso,will continue to shred them to peices !! friend and fan, mattstrat
