hi people, did you listen to malmsteen's last album? it is really too bad, i think yngwie believes he still lives in 80s. i can't believe he insists on the same sound. he never puts surprising things to make the listener enjoy it. there are a lot of bands choosing the same formula. for example cannibal corpse, arch enemy, slayer, children of bodom. they are not taking risks, they are not trying something else and we listen copy-paste, machne product albums over and over again. ok, i love them all, but where is the excitement?

I`m building a guitar body from a blank plank.Do you know if the pick-ups are positioned under the harmonics or is there some other factor in setting the proper placement.I do understand about the scale length according to the neck I`m gonna use,but I don`t want to copy specs from another guitar,I want to know why they are set in a certain position,Thanks,William.

I think it is safe to say that I am a fanatical "Joe Fangirl", as we all know.

News today is that I might finally get to meet Joe at the guitar clinic in 10 days. Well sort of. Briefly. After 28 years of enjoying his music, albeit with a hiatus caused by early child-rearing distractions.

There is a 45 minute photo session after the clinic! No talking, not allowed to chit chat, just get the pic and 1 item signed and move on but at least that's something yayyyy. Now I am praying that I get to the photo stop before the 45 minutes expires as they make it clear 45 minutes is it and then Joe goes.

Please, gods of guitar, please let me make it to the photo point inside 45 minutes......

If the pic and signing takes 15 seconds for each person then hopefully they can get 180 people through. There must be a few hundred at the clinic. Please gods of rock, hear my prayer.

Ten days.....and what should I choose for the one item to be signed????

Would love too but don't think I'll be getting one of those fellas! Really nice machines though... Other 24 fret ibanez' just don't do it for me with their thin necks. The 2400 looks and probably feels great too

Recording an ep using the JS1200 there this week, sounds cool

I ordered my copy a day or two after it was announced. I ordered without hesitation and without any regret! My question, is this normal to order a new music release without actually listening to a single note first? I've been a Satchaholic since almost the beginning (1989) There's isn't anything wrong with me. Am I the definition of "fanatic"? I'm OK with that. My name is Blue Buffalo aka Freddy and I'm a SATCHAHOLIC. Now hurry up with my next fix....
