Last night at Shepherds Bush was incredible, what a show. It doesn't get any better. Hope they are going to release a live DVD of this tour.

Hey joe

Saw you for the first time at Portsmouth guildhall last Sunday and to say i was BLOWN AWAY is an understatement. It Was the first concert I came away from Being on a high for 48 hours afterwards. I felt privileged to have experienced that Show on Sunday

I have heard you talking on you tube about How you feel the need to take a listener On a musical journey and must be honest That I thought it was the philosophical Musings of a good guitar player. What I Was not prepared for was your talent ACTUALLY being able to DO this.

you took your audience on a musical journey with EVERY Song you played. You were flawless and it felt like you gave It EVERYTHING you had. I felt that you Must have been physically and mentally Drained after that performance as you gave Your audience SOO MUCH of yourself

I have NEVER experienced anything like It and doubt I ever will (I have seen deep purple, Uriah heep , jethro Tull etc etc) and No band or musician one has EVER had that effect on me

As a musician (a very poor one after seeing you play) and a music lover you took me to Places I never KNEW existed and could be Achieved by listening to someone play The guitar.

Someone once mused that you are an alien After THAT performance. i thought "what A stoner" but after that performance I must be honest It crossed my mind SEVERAL times during your Performance

Loving your work man you have (like hendrix) re defined what is possible on the guitar

where too next?

Phil,Skippygirl, GStew..here is some. It's quick - gotta get off to London......I'm gettin ready & I really can't believe I'm getting to go again - I'm a lucky girl :-D Hope to meet up with you again - Phil & Hayley.

Well - what can I say? Won the VIP meet & greet for last night's Shep Bush gig. Walking around the stage it seemed so small! Stu took photo of part of the rig & stepped back to focus in & fell backwards into the screen! Everyone was really nice & said are you ok? - I was worried that he had broken Joe's backdrop!! Meeting you Joe was an honour thank you - and so pleased you liked our card we gave you........you found me in the crowd & waved a thank you to me :-D

The show was really rocking, one of the best, still loved Devil’s Slide & of course Cool #9, Jumpin In/Out & everything else in between. Great meeting Phil & Hayley – had a lovely chat with you both – see you later! Have a great pic of you – will share later on.

Thank you Rubina for letting me chat to you & pleased you liked my Black Swan – I still forgot to show Joe – but thank you Mick for showing him for me (from your photo). That’s also a great pic of us BTW. Will also share later. We took a friend & before the show he was saying that Joe is ok – well guess – he has changed his mind ;-)) Thought you were brilliant! Good stuff! I now have to dash as have to get ready for tonight’s show – 2 nights in London – woopee- about time! Thank you again Joe, Mick, Bryan, Marco, Mike M, Mike K, Rubina & anyone I’ve missed! xxx

Not sure if anybody has ever asked you this question Joe, but here goes:

Where is the strangest place you have ever found one of your used plectrums?

Oh, and has your good lady Rubina ever told you off for not emptying your pockets before putting your laundry into the wash basket? :-D (mine normally doesn't, she just pockets the cash I leave in there lol).

Looking forward to your next visit to the UK already!!

Hope you found some time for R&R during your hectic schedule.

Nite nite.

Saw Marilyn Manson & Alice Cooper tonight. Killer show. Great opening band called Picture Me Broken. Check 'em out. She's a growler :-)

Orianthi was playing with AC. F'n wailed on her guitar! So cool to watch her!

Ears ringing. Throat hurts.

Awesome!

Hey Joe,

Just a short word about your gig in Manchester UK. The reason people were sat down is the draconian security at the place. A couple of years back when you toured, me and a mate were the first to stand... only to be told to sit or else by the nazi security guards. It seems fun is a word they haven't learned yet.

Maybe you can talk to the management next time and allow people to stand if they want to - I know I wanted to stand but the prior experience stalled me from doing so. Fantastic gig though please come back soon!

Slim - Joes team have spoken to management at the venues. Whether the venues agree or not is unclear but they all nod favourably yes. If there's then a tranlsation issue with security, or just security doing their own thing I don't know, but agree it's a pain in the wotsit.

The band need feedback as much as we need to know the band is having a good time and letting loose, but for as long as we get this problem at seated venues it's going to be a catch 22.

Shepherds Bush & Indig02 were a different affair, as was Portsmouth (even with the latter being seated)

It's a tricky one :)
