Dear Mr. Satriani,

I am a brazilian fan and out of the blue I have written 3 lyrics to "unstoppable momentum". I wish I could record my voice over them and send for your due appreciation. Thx,

No just something I stumbled across on Pinterest. My hubby does not like ink. :(

Plus he is a wee bit jealous of my obsession with all things Joe..

PLilly, my hubs didn't like it either, but wound up with a tat on each arm, and in May I got #10 - the most meaningful. It's from the last Christmas card from my mom, and it reads "Love you always" in her handwriting on my wrist.

I love this little dude!

Gonna be headed to the Satcherific concert in Chicago Sept. 18th, if anyone from here is headed over there give me a holler.

Peace - I hear ya. Mr Skip can't quite fathom my fanaticism for Joe and is sometimes a tinge jealous but when he came to the Master Class he succumbed to the magic also.

Shel - go girl! I am a fraidy cat for ink but the one on your wrist sounds cool.

Thanks for coming to Melbourne Joe xxx

Why some people think that Joe`s music needs lyrics when it doesn`t have it?

In the past the same happened to me and i felt misunderstood. Just my opinion friends :).

Love to all!

Joe Always with you :) !

Hey Joe, My name is Frank and I have a special request for you. This past February 16th we lost our 27 year old daughter in a horrific car accident I have always listened to your great music and it has helped me through this very sorrowful time. My wife and I are Catholic and we love the "Ave Maria" by Franz Schubert as it is truly a Masterpiece. I would like to approach the idea of you doing a Satriani version of this timeless classic. My wife thinks I'm nuts for even asking, but I can't think of anyone else to do it. I can already hear you playing it. Another two songs would be "Schindler's List" theme and "Cavelleria Rusticana" I know it's a lot to ask but it could be a cool concept for your next project! "Classical Satch" It would mean the world to me and our daughter Katie loved the "Ave Maria" God Bless and thanks for taking the time to read my post. If you would like, I would love to discuss more about this. Keep on making guitar tasty and heartfelt.

Dear Joe. So after the wonderful show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire my husband announces that we have to catch another gig on the tour. I presume he's going to book tickets for Germany or even Poland but no we're flying eleven hours to San Francisco to see the show in Oakland! This is possibly one of the craziest things we've done in recent years but who cares! I organized your transport when you toured UK back in 90s and I've been a fan ever since (how old does that make me feel!). So, see you in Oakland. Take care and thanks for everything.

Hello Joe

I have all your discography and i have to say that your music always make me company during my life! Every new album feels strange at the begining, but then always taste good, very good!! I like all of them!!

But there is one special for me, because it was my first and I think that revels a different side from your music. So, here is the question... do you have plans to do something more like the "Joe Satriani" album?

Best regards from Portugal Nuno Fernandes

Dear Satch,

I was absolutely blown away by Surfing With the Alien in 1990. From a small town, I was working in the big city of Ottawa for the summer and my friend came to visit. He had bought the tape by accident (looking for a Santana tape). His first words to me after not seeing me for more than a year was "Dave, you gotta listen to this". We cruised around Ottawa and listened to the entire album non-stop before we said another word. I'll never forget that experience. The next day I bought all 4 of your albums.

A week later I was walking with a friend who lived in Ottawa and told him I would give my left nut to see you play. He responded by telling me you were coming to Ottawa and 2 weeks later I saw you play at the Ottawa Congress Centre. I was about 15 feet away from you, and again, I was absolutely blown away. The whole series of events was like some sort of magic.

Though I had a large music collection, I listened to nothing but your first 4 albums the rest of that year (not at all an exaggeration) and I've been a fan ever since.

At the show I was beside a local newspaper photographer who took a few pictures and left during Flying in a Blue Dream. I was able to get a copy of the picture that appeared in the paper the next day.

I introduced your music to my son, and when he was 12 years old we saw you with Eric Johsnon & Steve Vai in Minneapolis. He's a huge fan as well. I made him his own copy of the photograph and told him we would try to get an autograph, but it was unlikely. In his 12 year old mind that meant it was a certainty, so I regretted doing that.

He's 27 years old now, and I thought I'ld finally make it up to him by flying to see you in Poland including the meet & greet. We were going to see Iron Maiden as well. Unfortunately events conspired against me. However, it turned out Iron Maiden is touring the US this year and we planned a road trip. Unbelievably, I discovered you would be in Grand Prairie at the perfect time. We'll see you there for the meet & greet, and we'll be bringing our pictures for an autograph.

Your passion and dedication to your music has been an inspiration to me most of my life. Your music has been a real part of my life and my memories for more than 33 years.

We can't wait to meet you and see you play again. If you are taking requests, I'ld love to hear Crushing Day included in the set list.

See you in September.
