It was my first time seeing you, Joe, last night at the Palace in Albany. What a truly great show. From the other live recordings that I have heard you always live up to your well earned status as an all-time greatest virtuoso. Thanks for playing for us, I LOVED the entire show. I was disappointed that my derelict fellow Albanians didn't react to the first few notes of "Always With Me, Always With You", your legendary contribution to the annals of guitar. Cretins! (haha) Your magic weavings and thunderous chord work, your mystical whammy and authoritative statements affirmed your prodigiousness!

Hello Joe, My husband Peter has been a huge admirer and fan of yours since the mid 80s. He has every one of your music albums and also plays some pieces of your songs when he is at home. I also very much enjoy listening to your music, and we both think you are unquestionably the greatest rock guitarist ever. He is currently serving a 6-month military deployment in the Middle East, the second in the last 3 years. He is due to come back on October 16th (if everything goes as planned). When I was looking at your website earlier this week I learned about your current tour and saw that you and your band will be playing in Oakland on October 26th at the Fox Theatre. I am not sure if my husband is aware that you will be holding a concert so close to where we live (Vacaville, CA), but I know he would be thrilled to go see you and your band playing live shortly after he returns. I was wondering if there is anything you could do so we can go to your concert in Oakland in October. We do not have children, so it is only the two of us. I would truly love to give him this wonderful surprise when he return from military duty. I want to thank you for making such amazing music with your guitar and your great talent. Your music is highly inspiring and uplifting, and has accompanied my husband throughout all these many years wherever he goes. Tel: (707) 685-7549

Hey Joe. Just joined your site and enjoying every minute of it! I was at your show in Albany at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday night October 2nd. Great show and thanks for giving it all you got for 2 solid hours! Your sound is amazing. I am a big fan of sustain and the sustain you get is deep and powerful! It seems you can get notes to last for days! I have a Marshall JVM205H I play through a Marshall 1960 slant cab and I am just learning of its potential to sustain notes..heavenly! Anyway, I love the song Flying In A Blue Dream and as soon as I heard your sustained feedback at the very beginning of the song and then the unmistakable chords I know your were going to play it..only the 3rd song of the night! Awesome! That song really does have the ability to take a person away to someplace magical and imaginative. The backdrop behind you was really beautiful while you played the song, with an underwater type of effect with sunlight coming through the surface of the water. It really added to the whole feeling and atmosphere of the song. All of your backdrops were really fantastic and made each song tell a story. And, I never realized that your keyboard player was such an accomplished guitarist! Mike Keneally rocks!! Keep on rocking Joe and hope you come back to Albany again in the future...Mark Sager

Mr. Satriani, I received tickets in the membersclub balcony seats from a friend for your concert this month. The new friend I'm taking takes care of his mother who has early dementia and cannot take care of herself. I'm not sure how much he gets out and about because of his responsibilities. If I could surprise him with being able to attend the meet & greet with you it would probably rock his world. I do not have the finances to afford the VIP package that includes that and the seats I got from my friend were a gift.

Well I'm a little bit heartbroken tonight... 5th time was NOT the charm. No VIP upgrade. Congrats to desh on the win.. at least you know that Joe is going to play your favorite song "Surfin With The Aliens". I guess that Steven was Wright: 'You can't have everything... where would you put it?" Maybe someday I'll get to meet Joe, if I haven't yet after being a fan for 24 years.. I don't know when. :( Still I got front row and that will be better than anything anyway. 4 days until Ottawa... I'm so pumped I'm gonna pop!!!

Hey Mr. Satriani, Joe if I may. Thank you for allowing me to join your site I like your music and have been a fan for some years now. I`m not going to take up a lot of your time here tonight I have a quick question and would lie to hear your reply to it if you may. My question is in regards to Randy Rhodes and Jimi Hendrix. What do you think the music industry and culture would be like today if they were still here with us? Do you think they would of changed the industry or would they of had a difficult time keeping up with the changes? And lastly do you think guitarist like yourself , Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen would be considered top guitarist of our generation?? I`m don`t mean for it sound like an insult and please don`t take that way I was just wondering what your thoughts are on this topic. Thanks for the time and hope to hear back from you when you get a minute or if you feel up to replying, I know you`re busy as of now. Thanks again for the time and have a good one, you rock. Later.

Hi Joe,

Great to have you back in Halifax playing your music!

Awesome show. Have a question, are all your pick-up set-ups the same and you change the sound with pedals and switching; or do you have a guitar set up for the tune you are performing? The orange guitar really stood out in the mix last night.

Good luck with the rest of the tour!

Dan

Saw the amazing show in Moncton NB Canada.Oct 4th 2013 First let me say thank you ( AND Rubina and ZZ for sharing you )times infinity for coming here Joe. I have been a huge fan since 86 and been following your career from then till now. Surfing with the Alien blew me away the first time i heard it, still does and so does every one of your CDs . Your talent is " not of this earth" . I watch all of your DVD and one Blu ray concerts and am always smiling ear to ear every time i watch them. Now today i can smile even harder. It was a dream of 20 years come true to have finally got to meet you and then watch you perform. I am very grateful you took time out of your extremely busy schedule and family to chat briefly with my self and your fans and sign my guitar and such. You are a person of great character and very humble even though all of us your fans now how great you really are. The show was awesome incredible excitement and i would gladly pay over and over to see you perform at that level. For those of you who have not seen one of Joe,s show ...BUY TICKETS AS IT IS NOT TO BE MISSED. I certainly could go on and on Joe but i will end by saying , and i know you probably hear it a lot but it so very true, It was an AWESOME experience for me meeting and watching you and i really will not ever forget it. Thanks for the amazing memory and music my friend.

Gary~
