Hey Joe

Received your book in the mail last week and just finished reading it, I loved it. It took me back to first hearing Flying in a Blue Dream on a surfing video back in 1991, or hearing Always with Me, Always With You on FoxFM back in the day, and being a huge fan ever since.

It made me want to read it again and play each album with each corresponding chapter.

One thing you mentioned Reel Satriani a bit, and I have to say this was always one of my fave albums and I had never heard of this video release. Checking ebay and the like today they may sell it cheap but the shipping costs to Australia are more than triple the cost of the buy price.

Have you ever thought of releasing it on DVD? I am sure I am not the only fan who would love to have this item in the current format.

Looking forward to the meet and greet and Melbourne show, have a great time in Australia.

32 degrees is the forecast for Saturday. Would have preferred cooler weather but Melbourne is four seasons in one day anyway. :)

Also Congrats to the Melbourne meet and greet winner!

Skippygirl I hate to be the bearer of bad news (and maybe I am not in this case) but there is a disclaimer saying for some concerts instead of after show it is just for the before show meet and greet, and reading what someone wrote in the last couple of days it looks like it was a before show pass. Which is great if you haven't already purchased a meet and greet ticket! I hope it is an after show for Adelaide, and I hope you win! :)

Aw thanks Julie,

Yes I did see that, and you are right since we have the meet and greet already then winning the after show pass may mean nothing at all - just my luck haha.

I'm in front row for Saturday night come and say hi OK?? Always good to have more Melbourne Satch fans.

Will do, front row as well just not dead centre like you! :) I am sure we will all get to chat before the meet and greet. Shame it doesn't include the q&a like Joe has done on previous Aussie tours. It will be great either way.

Raven I hope you are going!!!!!

Just got back from the Sydney show of Satch. Although I must admit I didn't know the newer stuff from Momentum and also Mike Keneally shaking his bum more than the guitar was a bit of a wtf moment as his sound was just weird like a rat dancing on an electric guitar anyways wtf mate.

Was happy to hear Time Machine and Crying! Satch is a soon to be senior citizen but is this man an alien or what? He looks 30 and plays like he's 20. Also anyone notice the bass player? Smooth hands but hairy head while satch was smooth like avocado paste but his hands were like jameson valley in katoomba.
