What are the chances of a Reno date being added?

Much better than the chances of an Australian date being added.

I would love to see You do a documentary on the history of electric guitar, and iconic performers.

It would probably have to be a 3 parter but as you are a very commanding performer, intellectual musician, and very popular the world over I think it would be a great chance for You to do something a little different between performing and producing new work.

Carl Sagan did it for science, I think you could do it for music.

You interested?

(Alan Yentob did a series of TV programmes for the BBC here in the UK about 5 years ago, but I don't suppose you saw it yourself, but I think one of the music channels such as MTV, VH1, even Discovery Channel produce one and I would love to see your historical interpretation.)

Phydeaux thanks for the welcome. The live shows I found are a treat. The expressionless mask adds to the music.

NeddyB....great suggestion, I hope Joe considers it!!

Freddy....the bucket is exactly why I have a harder time getting into his music. It's too "gimmicky" for me, just give me straight ahead playing and I'm happy. Maybe one of these days I'll give him a fair shake, because the few softer songs of his I've heard, I've enjoyed. But damn....that stoopid bucket....maybe it's only a problem for me, so I guess I have issues. Nuthin new, lol!

Nor the bucket or the mask play a single note. It's those amazing fingers. I just let the music play.

Depends what stuff you hear of buckethead first I think... A lot of it is totally different, diverse and strange but if you find some of the more "normal" kind of gems it eases you into his stuff

One of my fav guitarists

When I was listening to a lot of buckethead I wrote this - Sierra Sentinel

According to the set list I won as part of the Liverpool UM competition you didn't perform 'Can't Go Back' which is the 2nd song on your new album Unstoppable Momentum'.

I'm not sure if it was just left off the set list I won and you actually performed it, or you decided not to perform it, but I really think you should add it to the set list for the North American tour as it's a most awesome track!!

( I know self praise is no recommendation but it is one of the best compositions on the album and a joint favourite of mine, along with U.M. and Jumping Out!)

Hope all you guys are resting well before venturing back on the road, if I win some serious money I hope to come see you all again in Orlando Florida :-)

Best wishes,

Neil (Neddy B)

Hi Joe, I have a question to ask

I know guitars are easy to procure should one be unserviceable/broken, lost or stolen whilst touring, but what would happen God forbid should you lose your pedals and other effects whilst touring? Would the concerts be cancelled or do you have a plan in place so you can replace unserviceable or lost equipment?

Neil.

Buckethead is weird and wonderful in his own unique way. Unique IMO wouldn't be a fit for a G3.

Hello Joe. I've been a fan for quite a long time and can't count how many hours of my life have been spent trying to become more like you! I'm really loving Unstoppable Momentum. Really great album!

I am curious if you ever consider commissioned work? The reason I ask is that my company is working with some elite athletes on what can potentially be an epic sports nutrition product line, or at least a "game changer" for our industry. We're currently a small company, but have some great ideas and means to develop this into something really big. In a way, the 'brand' is about unstoppable momentum and, while we are definitely trying to sell products, the core of the messaging is about encouraging anyone and everyone to strive for excellence every day in every way. Our ads will be very atypical for products of this type.

At any rate, I'm happy to tell you more if you might consider working with us to develop some amazing music that matches our theme. I'm not sure if we can afford you sir, but are very serious about success and highly motivated to make it happen. A Joe Satriani soundtrack would just help put everything else we are doing over the top. I know you are an elite artist and might not be interested in this type of project, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I hope you can take a minute to respond and really appreciate your time and consideration. Many thanks, Fred Palmer (Apax Business Development - 720-838-6430 - fpalmer@apaxbd.com)

Joe - how did you enjoy the Moto GP? Did you stay for the race? Did Zen Master come along, would imagine that's his thing

Big Bunny - are you Joes featured artwork this week? :)

JS Black Dog - Guthrie is a great suggestion and given Joes current touring lineup contains 2/3rds of the Aristocrats there's more possibility than ever of that happening I'd say

Hello everyone :)
