Jason - best news ever! He hasn't brought the solo tour here for 6 years can you believe it? Of course we had the G3 and the clinic to tide us over but it wasn't nearly enough. Just need the dates now.

Thanks for coming to Melbourne Joe xxx

Hey Joe Clarence here

I recently heard you playing and i'm very inspired by you and by the style you play. Being a professional guitarist is my goal in life but i'm still not at that level. Please tell me what do i practice.

I also want to purchase a JS signature guitar and collecting money for that as i want to buy it with my own earnings. Please suggest me which guitar i should buy.

Waiting for your reply Thank you

Kudos and adieu Mr. Satriani, Forgive the formalities but I am Fifty nine years old and raised in the military so formality is and was a given...that said, I want to thank you for the years of beautiful eclectic sound. As with most of your fans I also am a guitar enthusiast...( I began lessons at the age of five)...

I will forgo the endless chatter about my life but suffice it to say, I have enjoyed many mentors in my day, from the Everly Brothers, Andre Segovia, Al Diemloa, Jeff Beck, Lee Pickens, Mark Farner,

My personal favorite and early inspiration,( the indubitable Jimmy Page), Ronnie Montrose, Johnny Winter, Joe Walsh, so many more and that brings me to you...

I have absorbed all of your work since the first I heard "flying in a blue dream". Hooked ever since. Your melodies are well, melodic, rhythms, constant not over powering, mix is fabulous, and the music...well...transcends time, space, and energy...

We guitarist borrow licks from other guitarist and to me as a guitarist playing back up for Charlie Daniels and Nantucket, it has always been an honor when other guitarist rush to the stage to see how you do it, get that sound, do that lick, what are you playing through, make that noise... Ah war stories.... Those were the days....

Now I must bid you farewell and wish you the best of days for your tours...I've seen you three times...all here in Myrtle Beach SC!!! Thank you sir.

PS I also have art work I'd like to send you..after all you are the subject...where may I submit my paintings, and photos?

Hi Joe. I'm hoping you will see this video I made about some upcoming InfoTech regarding music harmony.

I did have your playing style in mind while I was performing keyboard leads with a guitar sound. This research deals with the modal aspect of harmony that seems to be part of all composition, but is made so evident with guitar.

If you are busy this month, please consider passing this along to nearby colleagues as well, though my initial hope is that you would consider being an owner of this, and at least a musician who thinks this is a good system.

Perhaps check out this InfoTech regarding music harmony when you have extra time.

Hi Joe!

First of all, I'm a big fan of your music! :)

I wonder if it's possible to buy the Naked Tracks of some of your songs? Just like it's possible to buy Steve Vai's Naked Tracks?

I would like to buy Cryin' for a start.

Thanks for your help!

I'll be in Cambria this August! Can't wait!

Greetings everyone, from Boston.

I am doing well here and getting ready for Monday for the 2014 Boston Marathon. I will say this, there are tons and tons of people here which is awesome.

I am hoping to beat my time from last year (2:44:21), so we'll see how that goes.

In other running news, Boston is my third marathon this year. The first two marathons I ran in I managed to get wins in so that's good. I already have the next two marathons (after Boston) lined up as well, and that also makes them States #14 and #15 on my 50 state quest.

If you guys want to track me, you can follow me by texting 863 (my bib number) to 345678 to track me during the race. They will give you four checkpoints/updates on where I am at in the race and how I am doing.

Joe and everyone here, hope you all are well.

Grant
