Listened to the box front to back and back to front many times now. Love it. In spite of almost nothing new, the audio experience is new.
The Book was delayed again at Amazon.de so I cancelled and ordered at The Bookdepository.co.uk. It ships for free, faster and cheaper overall.

Hey. Big fan. The first Satch song that I learned to play was Cryin'. It was also the first song that I was able to play were I used emotion in my playing to tell a story/message (and had the luxury of hearing it live in 2010). I have my interpretation of the song (as I'm sure everyone else does). I've have never seen or heard an article/interview where you talk about the song Cryin'. I have been intrigued for many years now. Tell us about the song. Where did Cryin' come from? What is the story you are trying to tell there?

Hi there,
I just got the CD set of The Complete Studio Recordings and noticed an issue with the start of "Mountain Song" from Strange Beautiful Music. It basically sounds as if it starts low and then pitches up, very much like when bringing a reel to reel tape to speed from stop. I can always send the original file from the orignal CD and the remix if we have the ability to upload samples. Perhaps this is just happening on the first pressing of CD's. I am not sure but would love it to be fixed.

Hi Joe,
Used to live in Malaysia, recently moved to Philly got a job as loudspeaker design engineer (been doing it for decades - a pretty enjoyable engineering job ;) ). Since I moved from Malaysia (I'm extremely sure you remember when the police stopped you in the middle of a song back there, I was there booing them... crappy experience, anyway) I've left the original there and had switched to soft versions. I would love to do listening sessions with a few a few of your songs can't do it with what I have here... could there be a possibility to get 48.8 or higher of few? Even portions would do. Thanks.

hey whats going on ,theirs gonna be a an all out war here with my daughter no im kidding but check this out she ,must be talking to like the government and my mom man i come home from getting good things man dads stuff my daughetr comes over.well yesterdaty I went to bancroft right groceries hygeing and some health i get home my kid comes over she does this every time man you here me I have 2 botttles of only my shampoo i just bought ATK406 shampoo man serious AUSSIE 2 IN 1 why it,s atk406 shampoo is because it,s my favourite right does wonders to your hair and skelp good for working out too anyways their was this sale at no frills i got paid from general electric went to work again so i did a ride now I went to no frills give all the stuff I was buying from this sale to the owner to him to have the guys put it out around 3pm so I could pick it all up when I had a ride instead of on the atk right man right joe this shampoo man can be as high as 10 dolllars a botttle man so anyways my kid fell in love with it but seriously this was seriously for me most of the time i buy things put them out for my daughter melissa right anyways I told her she could use it middle of the night she came over for a shower needed the aussie obviously it,s and autralian blend right aussie i never even had a chance to use it first well the new weight bench is hers she know that shes even said dad! lloook at the weight bench it,s littttle it,s for me isnt it thats mineitlle hold you but it,s for me! anyways Im not giving her the shampoo man serious this is nice stuff got 2 bottttles 5 dolllars had to buy weider portein the other stuff isnot at no frills any more i bought shopppers drug mart remeber they have to sell weider for my buissness weider for me just listen seniors discount here vitamins shave cream i spent over 300.00 man yesterday on huygein and health nut,s hey man it,s exspensive here man 100 for groceries plus the ride so plus tom gerlow plus littttl works im still ahead though be makeing the 5000.00 or 6000.00 depsoit in october may sox and underwear giant tiger peterbourgh heart test thats that anyways what a kid hey shes well really shes 24 saalmost 25 now thats her real agae the daugher with the name set by the goveremnet and age from my first wife lisa melissa is her name anyways she can use some shampoo i guess man this kid smells just like her real mother her mother stinks my place up too after a shower anyways gonnna head home mom just got her income tax returen i got her more then the book kepeppr anyhoot later wolf2.

....hello what`s going on zero happpening here,!.I just went for this litttle mothers day package from foodland hey joe buy a rotttiserie barbecue chicken get and aplle pie free done like dinnner man im bored real bored! well I feel well now dont know why but serious who knows good and healthy right now so what to make of itim just chillin hanging out here at the libary theirs absolutely nothing to do hey joe nothing at all! this place is still sort of dead like apsley ,maybe long weekend the 19th and 20th be some people who knows serious team husqvrana is pretty cool same woman from sweden from tyears ago jjanenaia is her name she looks like michel from here at talk to joe who brings the winnnings shes alright serious they still look exactly the same as they always have hey joe swedish people well the people at husky sweden man get realold but stay exactly the same this is true I had the yard all raked and cleaned for her she was back again since then inspection then again with more winnning it,s all good I mean it,s not as much as team aaen team atk or even team vintage can am bombardier well like i dont know know 8 million 5 million 15 million 3 million but,s it,s good I like them their so i do it for them race for them thears nothing other then that happpening I think Iu HAD some sort of hair or scalp problem man and needed the suassie shampoo hey man who knows the weights comeing down beside my head the clutches opening and clseing on the formulamx the clutches on the bikes their all on the left side serious after I used the aussie with austarlian ingerdients I had a couple of real black craps man then i felt like brand new in my head man maybe like I said just from the clutches and weights so serious still working for tom gerlow loggging he brough some huskys down to get fixed bought acouple pouches tobbbacco couple bags of native cigartttes and did some rideing and refueled and everything is full theirs anew husqvrana chainsaw dealership here at home hardware obvious it,s not maede for loggging compnay activitiy hey man i sold it to the home hardware i buy parts from the stihl and poulan dealer well husqvrna makes his aftermakrekt parts line their hey I have 73 trillion to prove still saveing my street life money well dont know from like april to oct boer i depoist 6000.00 every year spend up to decmeber and before so who knows i just give it to my mom it,s my money under the old penitenatrie my asset limit is full now 130.000 cash so they said i can still put more in their so I will thats that team husky is on my account at the royal bank under the compuer heading team husky so are the other ones i havent touched any of them at all cool hey swedish people at huskqvran are different just listen theyve known me all my life hey I realy am 323 nearly 324 years old husqvrna is the same age the company this is true man ohenst same people their anyways they like me too1 anyhoot hoome to eacet barbecue chicken and pie later wolf2.

....Hello ,how are you today their Joe? not too much happpneing man I been extremely sick man like not saying nothing not talking weekness well not weak but sick some how for a while I thought it was my heart right massive boul movements when reasally it,s all something from the formula mx man my snowmobile well you see I HAVE AN ONTARIO LICNECE HEY JOE BUT I was a mechanic for the united nations millitary so I have a united nations drivers licne too it,s for my dirtbikes my car and my snomobile now even too you dont need nothing on them the licne is at the peterborough opp dettcamnet and at lo angeles county police department for when i ride to l.a. on the atk or huksy or formula mx anyways the model of enegine like the team aaen upgrade this model of enegine cant go down a plowed roadway or they blow ,hey joe so i ride on my own property behind my house I live in still do all my raceing Olavs beens toppping byolav aaen from team aaen now it,s something like 73 trillion 555 billion 952 thousand team atk came by well the atk factory paid me for working I desigh and edevlop the atk dirtbikes hey plus the run my suspension ohlins I own ohllins sweden suspension and i desighn it for like ductai atk etc anything where i know them so thats that dont know wether its the real old belt on the formula makeing me sick or the way the coolant flows man serious it,s has big waietr jackets the ports for the coolant are montsreous and the coolant flows extremely fast hey man the coolant with just a litttle rev up travels faster then a new corvette man seriously the thing is is dennnis kirk is owned by me right but im suppose to be a silent owner anyways no more catalogas so i been doing buisness locally for cash i neededa belt that was gonnna handle the new team aaen upgrade enegine and clutch man the marina had some old belts from 1985 Dayco high performance for my formula i bought 2 man 20 dlllars each cash their so old their grey in colour instead of black. Anyways sometimes you need a seasoned belt though man serious like listen I redeveloped the engine after I bought the new engine man serious I didnt want to sacrifce any wins or be stranded so i did this real old belt thing man serious in 1985 the price was on them still for 63.95 plus tax each i paid 20 .00 each but seasoned man strongerI could change to a belt the wouldnt make me sick but I dont think it would hold man listen too me I been working out to build full power with weider pure iron weight they issue man man from weider weights just to handle thiis formula mx man it,s only a type 467 rotax turbob roraty valve but,s serious though man i beat 1200 two strokes even 1600 cc new four strokes man this is true man I have to ride to the races man register at team aaen then race man team aaen performance so i know it make me unbelivable sick im packing it in though man I had my mom put brugh tree branches on the snowmbile enetrance to my property man the dritbike entrance is open anywaysim gonna have to take some litttel cash to bancroft to give to my mother for her account their man its exspnse her joe everything is 20 bukc man it was 5 it was 10 now everything is 20 dolllars man for real im getting better drinking my new weider protein now to recover i should be alright I guess heart test may 26 in peterbough have to pick up more fod for bugs bugsy moran my rabbbit tassc store 50 pound bag rabbbit pelllts serios im almost 40 years old man im stayeing in good shape pedal bike etc but gee it,s an up hill batttle fighting age I dont know how arnold swarznegger dones it and he had heart surgery so who knows anyhoot washroom smoke outs die then home wolf2.

Hello!
In order to the concert in the "Festival de la Guitarra de Cordoba" in Spain, I wonder if there any chance to meet Mr. Satriani. My son (13 years old) is fan of him (and Mr. Vai, of course, I must say), so we going to see Mr Satriani in that concert, and he doesn't know nothing about this. I want to surprise him, and If only he could meet Mr Satriani only a few minutes .....

Hey Joe,
Just got the new book and have to say I read half of it last night. It kind of put me back into when I first started playing guitar and filled in all the holes that you don't get on the opposite side of the fence. The part of the book that resonated with me most was when you decided to make an album under your terms and how freeing it was.

Hey folks and/or webmaster: I need some help here.....:) I am
trying to add myself as attending the show in Odense, Denmark on June 16th - but when I click on the Edit/add show attendance-option I only get the choice of removing myself from a previous gig, which is cetainly NOT my intention.... Satrinicious - when you click on the Interact tab at the top of this page and click on the Edit/Add Show Attendance link, go down to the bottom of the page - do you see a drop down arrow which lists all the Europe shows and a button below that says Add Me?

Finished your book yesterday Joe. It was AMAZING to hear all the insight into your creative process. You really are blessed with out-of-this-world creativity and guitar talent. I always thought you were an amazing guitarist, but after hearing all that flows out of your brain and heart into the writing of your songs, i was just blown away! Also really dug all the details of your setups and gear both in the text and at the end. Thanks so much for sharing your life and talent Joe!!

I seen them open for Slash 2 yrs ago if im correct they were doing the
Canada tour opening for slash across Canada and since then they have
Fucking blown up ! All over the world touring and on the radio etc!
They are a differnt band thats for sure but well put together!

Chadley, I was talking to their merch guy before the show. He was telling me that they were all from Canada. Nice guy! After the show, Jeremy (guitar) and Brandon (keys) were in the lobby next to the merch stand. I got my pic taken with them, and my cd signed. I hope they go far! Old Train. I told them they can take back Celine Dion and The Beibs, and give us more bands like them. They thought that was pretty funny.
