Hi Everyone,

Today marks my 29th Birthday, as well as my niece's 9th Birthday.

I am doing alright, just ran my first marathon of the year up in Goshen, Indiana. I ran the Maple Leaf Indoor Marathon yesterday, with a time of 3:06:14 and got the win. It wasn't the time that I wanted, but I will take it. I had to deal with the dry air, and had problems with chaffing (ugh, don't like that). This win makes this my 10th marathon win overall, 1st win this year. My next marathon will be on March 23rd (Greenway Marathon) outside of Nashville, Tennessee. After that marathon, I will be running Boston again.

Hope everyone is doing well. Miss hearing/chatting with you folks. Later peeps.

Grant

Hi Joe,

Thank you for all the wonderful music. Fan since the beginning...inspired by HOW you achieved your success...appreciate the sincerity. I am in a different profession, but I play as a hobby and get inspired by people who stay true to themselves and not just chase money. Ironically, I think that the money eventually comes anyway. Other bands that I feel are in the same category: Rush, Tool, and others I may not know. Each time you put out a new album, I immediately buy it...like Rush and Tool and APC. I still can't stop playing the new album, especially "door into summer". Wow! Best wishes for the year...look forward to the US tour

Anyone knows how does the chrome dome works? All the studio recordings are there? Is like a normal USB with data? Where do I put those. Thanks!

ARSOSA - The Chrome Dome set is all the music from the box set in digital format on a USB drive. So you'd probably load the songs onto your computer and then load them onto your MP3 player or whatever you're using to listen. They're high-resolution files (24-bit), so if you don't have a high-end system you'll have to convert them down to 16-bit on your computer.

Has anyone else here preordered that? I don't think I can justify the high price when the collector in me can be happy with the CD box set for less than $80 on Amazon (even though the upgrade in sound quality with the USB set is tempting).

Also, has anyone found a track listing for the bonus disc? Even if you play it safe and go with Additional Creations plus Slick, The Eight Steps, Tumble, Dog With Crown And Earring, Ghosts, Heartbeats, and Longing, that only comes to about 50 minutes.

The goings on in Ukraine?

Your private navel lint collection?

Anything?

Hi Joe, Have you ever noticed that the music in the 1996 arcade game "Alpine Racer 2" sounds a lot like your 1992 song "Summer Song"? Did Namco (the video game company) ever give you royalties for this? Just wondering...Keep on rockin'!

So...this happened once upon a time.

Cuth, nice vid. Here's one from a show I saw a few months back Can't Change Me. This was a fun one - Hotel California.

As for the never ending winter, well...it's never ending. The storm coming tomorrow into Monday is supposed to bring 6 - 12 inches of snow. That's gonna land on the foot+ we already have laying out there that hasn't melted from the 9 previous snowstorms. Warm temps last weekend melted some of it, but there's a whooole lot still left. I'm cool with it. It looks so pretty, thought it's a trip driving to work in the muck. lol! I looked like this after the last storm.

Unfortunately it also looked like this.

I've been listening to this and this on a mix cd that's about an hour long. Nice and relaxing to just rock yer head and smile for a bit.

My 12 year old son recently did a science project which had an audio visual presentation with it of him stripping down a petrol engine. To make it more interesting he added 'Summer Song' as the background for it and submitted it to school. He is learning drums and loves Satriani! I posted this on Facebook but they removed it saying it contained copyright material (which I guess technically it does). This has been a great project for him and I want to know if I can get Joe's permission to post this video of him doing the project with Summer Song as the backing to it (I can send you the Windows Movie Maker File to see it if you want to)?

Thanks

Hey guys,

Is there another song with the title "Moshkill"? I haven’t seen one. Would be surprising if no one’s done it before me.

Here’s my video if you’re curious -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ANa8uD3ZBU
