Please!! I don't want to miss the opportunity to meet you face to face. Are you going to carry out a meet&greet in Chile?

Wish you all the best!

Your book. Mr. Satriani. I read your -along with Mr. Brown- wonderful book. I am not going to tell you about your wonders and outstanding creative sensitivy -let alone musicality- (although I think I just did :-) ). My post is to let you know -for whatever that's worth- that your book has an inspirational effect on me. I am a relentlessly lousy :-) (maybe 5 or 6 out of 10) guitar player, but with a love for music and for the instrument. As lousy a player as I am, sometimes frustation tries to win me over, but thanks to your book, and how it distils the passion and love we share for music -and for reaching that "next step", that "next cool thing"-, I look up and understand that -just as you did since your 1st record - I am playing, learning, struggling and loving music and guitar ultimately for myself. I think I got that view from you. I will never put out a record or sweep pick like a Pro, but I now search for, maybe, a sound new to me, a riff new to me, a cool progression, the joy of hitting the perfect note a the perfect moment... and the excitment of doing this from and to a love for music and the instrument. Probably, you think I lost my mind! But I thought it was fair to thank you for helping with this "epiphany". The world needs inspiration, always did, always will... we tend to forget that. Now, since I am on it... in your book you mention (I think it was when thinking about Engines of Creation) that you had considered recording alongside an orchestra. Any plans? It would be extremely interesting to see what you come up with. I think you'd be one of the few guys out there, that could pull the task and make an approach where the orchestra is not just "backing you up" (which I feel is what happens with other tries). I think that you'd be able to make everything sound together as never before, as a unit, and the colors you'll get would be really good to hear. I think you'll pull out something more "Brahmsiam" than "Chopinesque", if this kind of comaprison makes any sense at all. Best and thank you. Greetings from Spain.

Hi Joe!

I'm so happy because I'm going to see you again in Bogotá, Colombia.

I was checking your site and there is no VIP Meet & Greet Package for this show. Please add this tickets for Colombia, last time in 2008 I couldn't get the VIP ticket, but now I can and I want to meet you.

Hey if you ordered the Chrome Dome look out in the bottom of the box under a piece of cardboard (that looks like the bottom of the box) is where they put the special postcard from Joe. Dumb place to put it, if it wasn't for the wonderful Jon Luini I would never have known it was there.

Check your box.

Mr. Satch, I'm a fan of you and your music for 5 years now (unfortunately without having had the chance to meet you). The proposal that I will make you look certainly daring, but I'll ask it anyway. I'll play the guitar at the music festival on June 21 to 16 hours on the Place Saint-Michel in Paris, and I wanted to know ... if you wanted to go. I'll play some of your music that makes me vibrate every time I listen. I know the hope to meet you is VERY weak, but I still hope to meet you. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Charles.

PS: I will go to your concert on June 23 at the Olympia in Paris, and I wanted to know if there'll possibly a series of dedication?

Hey there, hi there, hello!! Hope all's well in The Realm of Satch! Looking forward to seeing him in LI, NY this weekend!! Missed the sale by seconds for the Iridium show. Very BUMMED!! It sold out in 4 minutes....my hubby called me to say it was coming but I went to the wrong site for tixs!!! Oh well, not meant to be!!

I"ve an extra VIP Tix if anyone"s interested Sat show LI NY...husband can't make it due to funeral. I paid $165.00 you'll need to buy a ticket. Contact marimarisrv@aol.com if interested. Please put VIP in subject.

JOe never ceases to amaze me!!....I tried to give these tickets to my friend George whom I brought out to Vegas in 2006? for a show with my friend Steven Wilde & Randall M. George couldn't get a ride out....very frustrating!!! He's in a wheelchair now due to back issues. I live in Mass. so it's not an option for me to pick him up in Short Hills, NJ. I hoped to bring some joy in his life..I wanted to give him 2 VIP & 2 tix but his friends couldn't stand up to the count. Makes me very mad & sad that people are just so self centered....Not much I can do but be a mindful and generous person. All I can do is change myself & hope I make a difference ;)

I really miss you all. I'm sorry for any trouble/distress/issues I've caused along my journey. I've had life issues that I've never should've taken out on the people that I care about...you were my family. I've made mistakes and I'm very sorry to all that I've hurt. I hope you can find it in your soul to forgive me. Nuff said...

Peace & Love to all, Mari

I've prototypes available however with the broad scope of this design, can be made from a variety of materials. My personal Ultra Speed Pick is Stainless Steel and lasted over 10 years. I kept it secret till now. See original Drawings:

Looking for a licensing deal. Joe would you be interested. I'm new at this so this is probably not the place to do this, so please forgive me for my misplaced excitement. Nevertheless, check em' out. They're close to available to the right manufacturer. Thank you. :)

First a small story then a question:

I am a 55 year-old male who recently was fully disabled because of chronic cluster headaches. This was due to a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while serving the military. My disabilities ended a 14 year career.

I have and continue to be a big fan of Joe and have collected most of his music. In my dreams, I walk up to a counter in a music store and want to buy a guitar. The guitar I always ask for is red guitar similar to the Joe Satriani signature Ibanez JS2410. This happened 12 nights, five nights in a row. I relayed this story to my wife and she bought a wonderful used red guitar for Christmas and I was so happy. Bless her heart. Now the question...

Because my brain injury is on my left-side, my right (dom) hand is slower and weaker than my left by about 50 percent. Is there any exercises I can do to help my right-hand?

Sincerely Chuck.

Two Shay Thanks for the kind thoughts. Getting better all the time...so nice to be heading in the right direction.

Michelle So nice to see a familiar face :) Sorry to hear about the iceballs! didn't know you got hit with em. Bummer! My sis didn't mention them but it's all about location. I was @ the Meatbat's show in NYC! Sitting in front of Jeff Colman (? sp) I got some nice photos!! Cosmo Squad is a fav of Steven. WE got to meet him, great guy! There was a snow storm that day so it was a bitch getting in from Boston let alone getting a cab to go to hotel. Ugh! That was worse part! Saw Andy Timmon (Dream come true!!!) @ the Iridium. He let me photograph the show!! Lighting suxs tho. I was totally amazed & astounded! I just LOVE him!! Just like my 1st time seeing JOe/G3/03...I couldn't sleep for days....Hope all's good w you & family.

JOe! You never cease to amaze me...every time I see you it's just as good as the 1st time if not BETTER! I hope all goes well for the Iriduim gig. It"s SO small! That stage is ity-bity so is the room! hope all is well with you & family...meant to ask about Cliff C. I know last I ck'd @ Beacon w Mick he wasn't doing so good.... if there's anything I can do pls let me know.Would love to do another fundraiser/charity. It was always so great to hang w him & JR. I learned so much about the music biz just listening...So wonderful to see you again. Music brings such JOY, you share such an incredible GIFT. Thank you JOe!!

The show In Westbury LI, NY last nite was just incredible!! Great Venue, not sure how the mix was since last minute they added seats to GA so I got 1st row 9 seats from center....right in front of BASS Amp, I "Felt & Saw " an amazing show! I got to see old friends & make new ones. Good stuff! Unfortunately I couldn't give away me extra VIP pkg, Oh well....no one was hanging out when I got there after driving 5 hrs. Was surprised since there was GA. Go figure! Belmont Stakes Horse Race was going on.....what a beautiful day!! Traffic wasn't so nice. It was sooo worth the journey. I love to drive, just not sit in traffic! The ride home was a cruise since I got on the road @ 7:15am NO traffic, LOVE it! "The Space" is a new venue. Formerly a movie theater. They kept lot's of charm & character. I had A17 Left which was 9 seats in but not the best (not complaining) it was misleading from the site. I bought the VIP since it was GA...Oh well, I SCORED!! Thank God 4 Ear plugs! Crowd was lame (we're getting old but lots of kids there)...how can u " just sit" for "Satch Boogie & Surfing"? Joe didn't toss any pic's. I got 2 for friends. Yeah!! Too many drunk peeps. It's SO MUCH better if you can enjoy & remember everything...right?!! I've been one of the idiots so not judging. I have some really really amazing photos...I'm impressed. I'm my worst opposition. Hopefully you'll see them on the site ;)

Peace & Love, Mari

Jon Hey hope all's well. Been a long time...I have LOT's of photos for the site. I hope you'll be impressed. Best avenue may be for me to mail CD's so I don't have to edit all the shows... goes back a ways....Will chat soon.

Peace & Love Rock On

Mari

Edit: Heading to Melissa Etheridge. Last minute decision. Yea!!

I was wondering if you'd consider using Jeff Berlin on bass? Just thought I'd ask. I saw you in Calgary last year and had to great pleasure of meeting you! It is a moment in my life that I will never forget! Thanks for the music Joe!

Dear joe,

I have a strange and crazy request to ask. I have two big love in my life : music and my girlfriend. I want her to become my wife and wanna do something really special for this. She change me in a better person, always support me whathever i do  and makes me understand what really matter and what is less important. First time i was playing with her listening i was practicing always with me always with you.

So here my request : i'm going to see you the 30 june in " la laiterie " in strasbourg. Can i do it during your show in front of anyone? I know It's a strange request but it would be so great if it was possible.

Thank you for everything ( and specially for your music )

Hope i'll get an answer.

Kind regards.

A big fan who's in love.
