Hi Joe, I have a question about your delays. I know you use 2 delays in clean sound but do you use it both to your lead solo main sound or only the short delay?

Hi everyone, I'm a huge fan of Joe and have almost every single thing he has ever recorded...there are a few minor things I don't have though so I would like to ask if anyone out there has the Fizzy Qwick LP from 1986 and the Julie Stafford 7" I'm No Angel/Run To Her from 1983, both of which Joe played on please?

Im not too bad just came to town well the luiitttle paper was here yesterday but their was some left for today so i picked one up really Im only in town to talk,to you! Joe Satriani - just wanted to say although it is taking me a long time to sit down and read this book you put out (not saying its a hard read or boring) which it is defiantly not its my reading abilities but I'm getting through it.

Hi Joe - First time posting, been a fan since Surfing came out and changed the world of rock guitar. Thanks for so many years of soul-satisfying music.
The main reason for this post (if I may be so bold) is to suggest a few possible songs to remake: "Blue Angel" and/or "Slinky" by Chet Atkins. Chet was the "Satch" of my father's day, and because of that, I grew up hearing his stuff played (from LP's on the old console stereo system and through my dad's amp) since I was a little kid. I always loved those two songs and thought they would sound so cool as JS remakes (- screaming metal versions!)
Anyway - it's just a thought. At least check them out when you get a chance:

your work has always encouraged me to put effort in my guitar playing and coming up with my own originals since the early 90s… In fact I am still coming up with my own stuffs at home on a 16 track.
As you will be performing in Singapore in November… I was about to get a ticket to see your show and have you autograph on my Ibanez tremolo cavity cover just beside Scott Henderson’s signature…
Then I came across the meet and greet package charged by the concert promoter…
I wonder are you aware of this?
Do you concur your concert promoter to charge an arm for your fans to meet and greet you in person?

Hi, Sir Joe. I am one of your avid fans from the Philippines. I started reading STRANGE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC this weekend and I was very touched, particularly when you shared the story behind Crying. In 2008, I learned the song, and it also inspired me to write a piece of poetry with Cryin' as my soundtrack and I wanted to share my take on the song with you:

Was under the impression that "A Love Eternal" was a cover song by you of an old standard, but the credits say it's an original. I was blown away- although I really love to hear you shred, the melody of this song nearly moves me to tears. Just beautiful!! Could you describe your inspiration for writing such a timeless melody and how you go about the process of coming up with ideas- do you draw inspiration from listening to other forms of music? I write my own instrumentals and am trying to write better melodies. I find it very difficult to be original with all the music out there. Only wish I could come up with something like A Love Eternal. Thanks and all the best to you!

but acoustic this time round !
My band (duo) called "The Drewsterz" played our first gig a couple weeks ago at a local unearthed comp..
While we didn't win (not that we went to win, just to have fun)
we were the last act on and only act to get an encore !
and since then we have had a great response ..
