Just got back from the Sydney show of Satch. Although I must admit I didn't know the newer stuff from Momentum and also Mike Keneally shaking his bum more than the guitar was a bit of a wtf moment as his sound was just weird like a rat dancing on an electric guitar anyways wtf mate.

Was happy to hear Time Machine and Crying! Satch is a soon to be senior citizen but is this man an alien or what? He looks 30 and plays like he's 20. Also anyone notice the bass player? Smooth hands but hairy head while satch was smooth like avocado paste but his hands were like jameson valley in katoomba.

So I just came down after a super Satch weekend. The Adelaide show was really fun, a lot smaller (900 people) and we got to meet the support guys, Joe again, and Bryan and Mike. Sooooo nice ! Lovely guys who gave their time to chat with we mere mortals.

Got some great pics. And some inside info on what Joe is up to. Best. Weekend. Ever.

Google it! There's no official ones but there was a few released for a completion a while back and lots of people make their own. Youtube has some too.

Yeah I love backing tracks.. best bit is you can improvise when playing which doesnt particularly work well over album tracks.

There's a website that has guitar backing tracks of bands with vocals minus the guitar. They're a lot of fun too.

Regarding "Revelation"...as in "Thanks for watching! Guitarextremist" [Youtube]. I'm struggling to figure how you get that "D"...on the G-string (leading into the 22nd bar) to "SING".I see no "pinch" but it sounds like a harmonic, or even, a "sawtooth" waveform. Is this a post-production "trick"? I'd sure like to get this "nailed". I'm using the neck pickup on a "stock" JS1200 (PAF-JOE). ...One tip, for a Fan?...Where's the harm in that? Best Wishes, from the UK, James

APO's if there's a thread on this,...I'm new to the forum

...OK, it's taken me the best part of a week but... I found the "tabs" on "Songsterr"...it's a pinched-harmonic!
