Lets see if this works...Chris has really been into photography lately, and especially birds. Hard subjects to capture! He recently participated in the Winter Wings festival here in Klamath Falls, and then entered the photo contest. He was up against a total of 74 photographs and it was his first year entering and.................HE WON FIRST PLACE! WOOT!

You can see his shot here, it's the soaring leucistic bald eagle

Very excited, and proud of him! In other news, can't wait for the new Joe album, ready as ever! Busy as ever too, but that ain't nuthin' new eh? And not just for me :) I know everyone is running at top speed most of the time. This past year has been a doozy, got my wee mum moved into an assisted living place...oh the soap operas that can go on there, lol!! But she's doing well, going to be 94 this June. I see her every day. We also had the massive estate sale of her entire home, garage, shop, etc...it was a huge undertaking to get ready for but did get done. Also had to paint and work around the place to get it ready to sell, which it finally did on Dec. 31st. After all that you'd think my life would calm down just a titch but nooooo...Chris keeps me extra busy every moment I'm not at work, and even then sometimes there too!

I've been working two full time jobs besides taking care of my mom and my own place, so I haven't been around here much but I check in all the time. HOLLA!!

Hugs and kisses :) T-bone

Dear Joe, Have thought about Brian Bromberg as a possibility? I think that would make things very interesting writing, arrangement wise and live performances would be amazing. I think it would be a great fit. Steve-o in Boise.

Hi Joe, looking forward to your new album. Can't wait to hear it.

Does anyone on here know whether all the Meet and Greet photos are archived somewhere? My photos from the 2006 Super Colossal show at Hammersmith Apollo in London have been lost. I figured this might be a long shot but thought it was worth asking.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Hi Joe, Thanks for taking my post. Last year I put together a 3 minute video for a local community group that promotes sports programs for local young kids. It is non-profit, free of charge and great for young kids who sometimes can't always afford it to get involved for sports. For the background music I used Super Colossal for the video. It is not for sale or profiting in any way and we would just like to be able to put it up online to show other kids and families about the program. When the church put it up on their facebook page it was kicked out for the musice. Here is the link to the video that I just uploaded to VIMEO. I appreciate your consideration to let us use your music in this way. Sincerely, Brock Wilkerson

Looking forward to seeing you in Bristol again in November , Joe - still got Marco's drumstick from the last time- the only thing I ever caught ! Ray T - yes I remember Bill Nelson - saw him in the 70's in Bebop deluxe - great band. Trying to go to the Rory Gallagher fest in Ireland this May - another amazing guitarist and man (RIP). My son's mate has his band playing there this year - Laurence Jones. Long live live music.

Joe! How ya doin? (in my best Joe Walsh voice)... So I've taken on the task of converting my CD collection to binders. As with most fans from the "CD generation", I put my concert ticket stubs on the back of the CD cases for whichever album was on tour that year. I can say, with pride, that I've been to.....drumroll.....17 SATRIANI CONCERTS!! Including G3! Of course, if anyone has been to 17, 1 or 30 concerts, we're all SATCH HEADS! Thank you for continuing to share your music and talent in such and open, honest and ROCKING way! Looking forward to the next concert!

Hi Joe, My name is Paulina Angel. I don't know how often you check this, but for the past few days I've been trying to get a hold of you through Kobalt in regards to the song IF I COULD FLY. I've recently did my rendition or adaption of the song with lyrics I've written. I want to play it for you and explain the significance behind the process of making the song. Right now, its one of the most beautiful things I've written and recorded and I really want to talk to you about it, Please!!!

She's so nonchalant, it's gas. Impressive stuff too. She's been knocking about the interwebs for a while now and almost as good as the 6 year old Asians ;)

I would like to hear the song so I sent an email, thx.

Hey I stopped in Wollongong on my travels driving south in Australia, tis a nice place. I stopped to have an ice-cream then went on south! Actually got a speeding fine not far from there >:( Still paying it off!
