Hi guys/Joe. I'm hoping any one of you can help me out with an annoying technical problem I'm having. I'm trying to work on sweeping and I'm using a budget Ibanez. The issue is that when I reach the high strings at speed, the palm of my hand keeps nudging the volume knob down slightly. It's driving me crazy! Lol! If I'm looping an arpeggio, I have to flick the volume back with my pinky at regular intervals. I've tried moving my hand but in order to avoid it completely I have to play virtually over the neck, and it feels really awkward because I'm used to resting my palm on the bridge. Is the solution just to get a new guitar, or is there any way I can fix the volume setting in place? Maybe glue it or something? I know nobody is here to answer stuff like this, but I would be grateful if someone would help a brother out. Peace.

That IS awesome news Joe, and if anyone was right for the job, it's you!! I hope there will be a way we can all hear it the end of this month!

July 24th can't come soon enough either...really looking forward to the new album. Got it on vinyl and cd :)

How is everyone? Life has been so busy I'm losing track, and I don't like that! I hope all is well out in Satchland for everyone :) Staying very busy here so not on as much as I used to be. At least we have the anticipation of a new album and tour to look forward to.

Take care everyone and...Oh yeah....GOOOOOOOOOOO WARRIORS!!! Those are my BOYS!!! WOOT!!!

Hey Joe!... My name is John Fletcher President/Founder of The Cluster Headache Foundation in the U.S. We are the #1 site in the world for Cluster Headache information. I am a huge fan of your music! We are on a mission to cure Migraine, Cluster and all disabling head pain diseases and are working with the right people and organizations to make it a reality. We are starting a music campaign in October with the Little River Band who is onboard with our project.

We are going to do big name band benefit concerts for at least two or more years to help us fund the efforts for the cures to these horrific diseases, spread awareness and help end the suffering of so many. Cluster Headaches are the most painful disease ever known and we want to see it end. We have a new medicine were working on the first in 370 years since this disease was recognized. Not a single medication has ever been made to help the 7 million sufferers worldwide.

The most painful disease ever known and not a single medicine to end the horrific suffering. We are going to change the faces of these diseases and gain the respect that we have never had because of a disease with the name "Headache" Attached to it.

We want to recruit Green Day for their Migraine song and put together a 5 band world tour called "The Headbanger World Tour For Cluster & Migraine Warriors". We are going to ask besides yourself... Def Leopard, Green Day, Led Zeppelin and Metallica. Chances are we will have to look at other bands but these are the first we are going to talk to.

We are very serious about this and would hope you can pass along the information to see if the band is interested in helping us. The Headbanger World Tour For Cluster & Migraine Warriors IS COMING... Please join us... contact info on "About Us" on the website The reason I write to you here is we wanted everyone to know what we are going to do... John Fletcher

Heard Joe's interview on Q104.3 the other night. He was talking with Eddie Trunk about how there probably isn't gonna be anymore Chickenfoot stuff. Bit of a bummer, really, but what can you do. Getting pretty hyped up for Joe's new album and The Aristocrats new album. A lot of good music is on the way.

Every time I hear the song, The Golden Room, from BSAWW, I think of how cool it would go with a scene in a movie where special forces or Navy seals are flying in a helicopter into a mission in the middle east. It does have a middle eastern sound to it.

Dear Joe Satriani.

My name is David Simenc and i am a non professional digital artist from Slovenia and big fan of art. Few days ago me and my 3 friends had a talk about my dream of raising 200000 euros (two hundred thousand) and opening my own digital art gallery. They were laughing at me about my dream because i never sold not even 1 print of my digital art.All of a sudden they made me an offer in a form of a bet. They said if i raise donations all together worth of 200000 euros in 1 year each of them will work for me for free for 10 years and at the same time they will pay all expenses to start the gallery. But if i dont get donations of 200000 euros they will smash all of my hard discs containing all of my original art projects and i must delete my gallery on the internet (Deviantart and Art pall)and never make any art whatsoever in my life again. All so i will be called a 200000 euros looser for the rest of my life. I accepted the bet(crazy guy right hahaha). I am sending this letter to a lot of wealthy people in a hope to raise the amount.

The rules of a bet are...

1.I can contact as many wealthy people as i can reach 2.The bet starts 17.7 2015 at midnight 3.The bet ends 17.7.2016 at midnight 4.The donation must be only checks so i can prove them the donations 5.The donors will receive 2 of my digital arts by their choice (the link is on the bottom of this letter) 6.If i raise the 200000 euros (two hundred thousand) the donors will receive every single new print of my art for the rest of my life. 7.If i dont raise the amount i must wear a t shirt saying 200000 euros looser 3 days a week. 8.I must rise the amount all by my self without any third person only i am aloud to contact celebrities and companys.

So that is my story about my art and bet. I hope that you will get this letter. If you are interested in helping me out please pm. me so we can exchange shipping addresses. If you are interested I will first send you my 2 prints by your choice and only than you can send me the donation.
