and then you GNAAHH no way that can't happen LOL!

question for all!: how did you become Satch fans and Satchaholics?

I was walking downstairs one day getting ready to play my brand new guitar(got it yesterday) and then I see my dad playing along pretty well with STWA and I just said whoa... I couldn't say anything else I was just like man that's awesome who was that!? and my dad smiled and says that my friend is Joe Satriani someone I always hoped to play like. And I was just totally taken from there never put Satch down after that. My father's tape of STWA and his Joe Satriani and NOTE cd's constantly spinnin' It was crazy and then I see"satriani.com" and here I am

JS_JS Band of Brothers...?

Is it just me or is it tiring on the fingers to play Dust in the Wind with only one guitar?

It would probably be more proper to say GNAAHH's bass line for G3 or Matt Bissonette(sp?) riffin' off of GNAAHH's bass line for G3 or the same but for Stu Hamm cuz I really liked the hoedown and the slow parts to Bass Solo on LISF.

hey jazzy have you heard of Static-X? I'm sure you have. anyway My friend said they were really good and that I should listen to "The One". Cool sounding intro but it seemed to lack. Well I looked it up(tab) and found it he barely plays anything and it is dropped CGCFAD(2 steps then all ones you know the drill.) anyway It seemed fairly easy to play. I was wondering if you knew of any heavy bands that played serious licks like Joe? Or Petrucci? Maybe even just one REALLY REALLY good riff? But My guitar doesn't stand up to dropped tunings so is it hopeless anyways?

actually Scott shared my feelings at first anyway I listened and I was like oh yeah I'm likein' smooth cool it rocks and then Joe started just going off on his own and didn't really seem to be going with the song too much. but after about my second listen I was beginning to like it. It just grew on me. kind of slowed down and melded with the rest. I know it sounds wierd but still...

Michelle may I have this dance?

JS_JS don't worry man I was in a hurry this morning. I'm still here. Got a 90 on the visual(poster) not enough on the thing I guess I only did the BFM. anyway I don't know on the essay but if I get a bad grade someone is payin'!

Um did someone else post shoot 6 pages screws your memory.

I GOT MY CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not to be rude but it is somewhat repetitive when you constantly put something in bold. We'll still read it. You don't have to though

oh geez come on guys. Yngwie's not even what this thread/ message board is supposed to be about!

anyway I like the new album and the feel of ITLIS?'s beginning and the whole of Bamboo for their mellow drifting sounds. I like Hands in the Air and Up In Flames because he really just flies on those songs(ok just on UPF but in HITA it has a really good droove and some cool sounding riffs) I like GNAAH just cus it sounds so wierd and funky. I like Lifestyle for it's bluesy groove and for it's strange sounding intro thingy. If I Could Fly has a real nice happy tone like a party that you can't help but enjoy that even Mr. Scrooge would love! The Souls Of Distortion is cool just because it is. I like it. Just Look Up is a little slow for me but it is still very good. I Like The Rain I really like this and the chorus guitar. but, I don't see how Joe's voice soinds bad or muffled. Sounds kind of like Look My Way from so long ago. Searching is an awesome mellow song too but has some sweet sounding things on it too.

Jazzy Boy I knocked a kids lights out because he was being a racist to all my friends be fore I moved where I live now. I hate racism and discrimination about stuff like that but I'm not so sure if I agree with the Homosexuality thing. How can you really be sure if you're actually born with it? My theory is like if you grow up in that sort of environment like if you hang out with one group of people more than another you become like the first. Am i understood?

JS_JS just forget it man if he's still holdin' on to it, I think he's just doing stuff like that to make himself fell better to win a war of words.

Ali B Thanks a lot for e-mailing but unforunately not in time. I turned it in this morning. I do appreciate you taking the time to e-mail and ask though!

IceZer can you post your site again?

JS_JS on the subject of political parties I'm not sure I'm even going to vote when I grow up because I just sick when I constantly see and hear you suck because.... no you do because.... well you voted... into office and he sucks too! and all that other crap It makes me sick so I just let them quarrel and do what I need to. I don't complain about our government because it's not my place and most likely will never be.

Mari close but the spelling is Vaya con Dios not to correct you but so that it is clear because sometimes you add or mess up one letter and it is a totally diff or offensive word. so there's no confusion!

Mari nah don't worry about the spelling I just wanted to make sure that you knew how to spell it cuz it's in a diff language. I have taken spanish and lived in Texas for four years and sometimes slight mispronunciations can land you in big trouble. plus different customs. anyway yea I go by a relaxed but still not neccessarily( my own sp?!!!lol!) safe lifestyle. I love to make others laugh. It is healthy and it just brightens my day when I get to see a better side of someone. I know a girl( the one from across the street guys!) who I can just look at her with a straight face and she laughs. She knows I'm bound to do somethin' stupid, and I do. But I mean she justs love to laugh too. I run all of my jokes by her and her little 'posse' and they all love to laugh too. I like tough crowds. Cuz when they laugh, it's worth it. My father has got to be the toughest and I mean when he cracks his lips to laugh and lets out that joyous, bellow, it just knows something good's goin' on. That why I always say them while he watches the news!

Like some 14 year old made it with a drum machine? I'm insulted

Joke Time! I dedicate it to Clarky even though it is a joke for all.

Complex philosophy, made simple:

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the beer. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes." The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your favorite passions--things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. "The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car, your friends. The sand is everything else--the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your family out to dinner. "Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand." One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of beers."

Guys I never said that I thought it was a choice I thought it was like say you're only three or something, and suddenly you step on the remotte HBO(or whatever's) Queer as Folk is on. And you don't know that it's different from anyone else, but I also see your points (they're very sharp and fly fast) and respect your opinions. they make sense. And I don't remember ever saying I didn'taccept homosexual people. I haven't run across many in my life and the ones I did meet kept approaching me sexually and it bugged me and they wouldn't stop. But I mean I knew one gay guy actually and he was really cool. I mean he just really thought on the same plane as me understood I was not gay nd we respected each other. But anyway, also I don't people of no or other religions. Truitina and UF Dean are some I consider great friends. But they do not share my religious beliefs and it doesn't bother me. anyway I'm glad that jazzy boy is willing to end this. I've been wanting to all along but I'm not one who likes to say that I'm wrong or sorry. But I am sorry for starting all this up and to

Jazzy boy hey from now on totally clean slate. No religion nothing. Just hey how you doing? I've not met you. Have you played for long?

JS_JS it's over man let it go.

I'm tired.

got the three cd's I ordered! Love 'em!

Hey guys no you weren't harsh IMO. You'd actually have to be here flicking me in the face and then smacking me and then just fighting me for it to be harsh. I don't talk back to much either....hm I kind of sit there and let it soak in. You probably wouldn't be hitting me either. so then what I said made on sense... where was this going anyway?

kokopelli happy b'day to her!

jazzy boy I didn't say it in the last one? sorry about that I am sorry for having said things and that it offended anyone if it did. I do though still hold my beliefs. I'll stop from posting links of that sort but you also have to promise that you won't put more stuff like 'don't go to church' in bold. Agreed?
