Actually I myself can barely even listen to Crying without wanting to do so until about 3 minutes or so and then it is listenable. love most of his slow stuff but that song... ugh. also Guitar One sucks. and they had "50 greatest guitar tones" in guitar player and joe was nowhere to bo found but they loved Yngwie.

Hello to all just dropping by for a quick question to all the Satriani lovers(those that play guitar anyway). What do you think of the Ibanez RG370DX? I've found it in my price range($332.95) and I like the Edge Pro II trem along with the 24 frets, sharktooth inlay, and dual humbucker + single coil pickups. It seems to be a great guitar but I'm having slight trouble finding one to try out here. So if you played the RG series, was it worth the money?

Stevee T I would get the 1200 or one of the other JS's but unfortunately my pocket doesn't reach that far.=-(
962 actually most of the places I've looked at didn't list the RGT42, but I'm sure I just didn't notice it(tunnel-vision!). yea I've been thinking about upgrading my current guitar,but then with all I'd wanna do it wouldn't be the same guitar. And I couldn't afford it. It's just too bad 7 strings cost so much cuz I'd really want one of those(mind storm, hands in the air...)

962 yea but with how much my guitar sucks it wouldn't be really that same guitar. it'd be the same body and that'd be about it. but I looked at your RGT42 on Ibanez.com and it looked very nice. and then I saw the RG1752 for only $480(%40 off!) at a local store today. sat down and played it. I decided that seven strings are very different and take getting used to. but I still didn't get to research it and I saw an ESP with Floyd Rose, dual humbuckers, and (i believe) rosewood neck or body. It was only $200. what would you suggest as the best within $300?

long time no post everyone!
Jazzy how long have you had a soundclick? can you post the url or say what you're listed as so I can listen?
Just got a new Crate GLX212 yesterday. pretty awesome amp. It's supposed to have really good effects but I haven't gotten bored with the raw tones yet. sweet... and loud=-) before that I also got an Ibanez RG370DX for christmas. this is fun.

I just ordered a Dunlop 535Q & for no reason I just tabbed out how to play a creed intro(6 feet something?) on the bass...

all right I realize this may be a bit to ask but could someone please post on the whole "how to stretch your strings/what to do before you put them on"? I want to replace my strings but it's been too long so I can't remember. much appreciated

Meandmrvai since you're newly into muse I have to ask what CD is it? I have Hysteria off of absolution. I don't really care about most of their other stuff. everyone goes really crazy if you play it around here though

meandmrvai oh okay I'm not much into just curious really. i'm not much of an effects person, I rarely ever use the effects on my crate or in my zoom or my whammy or wah, It's easier for me to reproduce sounds without blurring it in between. I like listening to the old stuff rather than a lot of the new music. it kind of bores me...

UF Dean yea take care of the really important stuff first. and as for the string... got two new sets earlier an just restrung it.(I now have an RG370 and a Crate GLX212!)
