Maybe someone else have said this already, maybe some of you hate my thoughts but i will give them anyway :)

The linup for G3 2005 should be Joe Satriani, Steve vai and Kirk Hammet.

If you have seen kirk hammet you know that his energy and charisma is perfect for G3.. im so tired of people saying this and that about Kirk's technical level, playing guitar is not about that and you all know it !!!!!!
