Hmmm sorry I haven't posted in a while, life is busy...hope you all are doing well...

Got my "Super Colossal", it's unbelievable, very different, it's a new Joe!
First listening & first thoughts...I have to say that the whole album is fantastic in itself...superb production. My favorites right now: Redshift Riders, Ten Words, A Cool New Way, The Meaning of Love, A Love Eternal and Crowd Chant!!!

(yeah, it's very addictive!)

I'm looking forward to get my talk2joe Echo CD too, (it has been shipped past March 18th) I can't wait!

On another note, just got an e-mail from our good friend bahduh...

He had to leave work for a week to take care of his little baby who got sick and he will be away from the forum for another week or so...

Prayers for his complete recovery of are needed.

Get well soon little Jordan!

To have to get up early to work after seeing Joe the night before comes as a complete shock! LOL ;-)

Yesterday's show in Madrid was simply UNBELIEVABLE. It was awesome, Joe blasted out! The atmosphere have been tremendous, the crowd was totally blown away! I think everyone loved it there, giving standing ovations especially after Cool n9, Surfing with the Alien, Satch Boogie, The Extremist and Crowd Chant! For me the highlights were Oriental Melody & Circles. I loved every second!!! The aftershow didn't take place so we couldn't talk to Joe :-/

michelle, about the Meet & Greet, yeah...it was a shame :( The promoter said to us that Joe had to leave quickly due to personal problems...so he couldn't spend time with us. Hmmm that made me come back to reality thinking that after all Joe is human...Anyway the show was so so fantastic, we had a super time! :-)

Haven't been here for a while, not sure if someone remember me ;-)...I'm right now in Cordoba, I'm seeing Joe's concert in 4 hours at El Festival de la Guitarra here!!!

I can't wait!!!

Well!! The concert was awesome!!! Everyone who came to the concert loved it really much!!

Joe played in Cordoba as part or the 27th edition of the Cordoba Guitar Festival! With the presence of major national and international artists, Paco de Lucia inaugurated on 2 July and 7 July was the day of JOE!!

The concerts took place in the Theatre of la Axerquia, a place in the open air, this place was great specially because of the heat in Cordoba this time of the year!! more than 40º C :-/ the concert began at 23:30 and lasted 2 hours. All the songs played with an incredible perfection. He had so much energy and enthusiasm. What a great show. We had a super time!!!

And yeah...like Txikota said the coolest thing ever was to meet Joe at a souvenir shop and later walking down the streets in Cordoba...he was so nice...I was having an icecream and couldn't finish it after meeting Joe because of the emotion lol. Here's the pic ;-)

The concert itself was awesome, we were very close and we were standing right in front the stage. I took all the pics from there. We had front row after waiting in line for a long time but it was worth it. Front row is the best.

The picture with Joe was in a shop in front of the Cathedral-Mosque of Cordoba.

It was so cool...I was with my sister and we suddenly saw him! I began to talk to him without thinking it two times trying to relax myself lol. Rubina was with Joe. It was really nice to meet her! Even she was so kind to hold our icecreams so we could take the picture.

It's been a while since my last post...life have been really busy but I have some holidays at last!! and...I'm going to cross "the Pond" for the first time to spend some days in New York :-)

It's going to be great to visit Joe's hometown, Westbury. And I will be seeing Steve Vai's show there this Saturday 6th too. Is anyone here going? I hope so ;-)
