Hi everybody, Poland on-line here...
I've heard that Joe is going to visit Warsaw this summer with the G3 poject...If it's true I'll be there for shure (Joe's music is like a drug-can't stop listenning... and trying to play-still trying, it's too hard for me to play most of the songs, but I don't gave up...I know that I'll never be such a good guitarist like Joe, but I enjoy to play my own style, maby not as full of speed-techniqes as Joe's, but that's what matters for me...simply-to play guitar).
And I'd like to know when, and where the Warsaw G3 concert will take a place.
Ps. Joe, your songs are genius, the rhytm, melody...Great, melodic music wonders. For example, I can't listen more than two-three Sevie Vai's songs, for me there's no melody in it, only strange show of techniques...I play Metal, but I always use melody which leads thrue the song, sometimes it's based on an old, bood Blues... ;-)
I wish You a third hand Joe! :-)

I don't understand how can anybody compare all of the guitarists? There's no such a thing like the best one! Every guitarist has his own style, so how can we compare them?
And with which factor?...The speed?-you can play extra fast, but what for?... by using mega speed, you loose your massage...
Felling...that's matters (and every body fells music in different ways) so how to compare....and what for?

I'm keep practicing, maby for 5-6 yerars I'll play with Britney Spears, she's does so much of speed metal stuff :-)
For those who hasn't got any sence of humor -it was a joke, for real I'd like to introduce a Polish metal band: "VADER" , unfortunetly not mine... www.vader.pl

VFRrocker-it was good! Exellent compearing Woman & Guitar...I had a lot of fun reading it! If you don't mind I'll copy it and send to all my guitarist friends in poland (even if you mind I'll do it anyway, it's too good peace of shit to be waysted).
You should be a writer, I would be your first, I think, polish fan :-)

Hey Dudes! I need to find Tabs with practice stuff (etiudes, scales to practice, licks etc. I've got some tabs of songs, but no other...) by Joe Satriani if there are any...or familiar.
Specially for arpegios and legatos with huge intervals (intervals-I'm not shure If I spell it wright, I mean big distance between tones on one string).
If you know any adress please put it on a post, I'm waiting...
