i know i shud probably go lookin for it on the site but how did u get a signed cd? That would be cool, it wud mean alot :)
I got steve vai's autograph when i was in new york, in times square i met him twice there in the same day!! with a few hours inbetween, And funny enough the few hours i spend inbetween were in samash and when i came home the movie crossroads came on jus after i re-stringed my ibanez, but i only caught the last 15 mins of it, But That was an amazin week! :)

Yea im goin to the G3 on the 29th of june in London! cant wai, it shud be a rockin gig, i live in ireland so ive to go to London to see him, Im sure it will be a day at the beach ;) heh Ill hang around the venue all day, he has to come out some time :) im goin to cali in v soon so ill camp outside his house to :) i think im obsessed :|

in relation to the people talking about shredding, Speed is nothin without accuracy! + i do think yngwie did over do some of the songs on the 2003 g3 but what can ya do the show was great overall
and stop dissin the joe album its a wonderfull creation of music :)

Yea same^ im 17 and i have trouble finding guitarists and musicians like me, I tried out a rhythm guitarist with my band there on tuesday, hehas being playing for 6 years, and he was useless! Its tough finding good dedicated musicians into same things, But u jus gota work at it...

hey someone asked if joe is playing in ireland on his tour this year, and nope he isnt!! he has a bunch of tour dates in england though, im going over to london to see him, cant wait :)

this is for the guy lookin for what Fx joe uses on it, i think the one your thinkin of where it pitches the sounds? its a Digitech whammy pedal, It can push the note up an octave (+ others) which is what it sounds like, theres other effects used to but i think that was the one u were refering to :)

anyone know what harmonizers joe uses?? cause in crushing day live he goes down to an effect and changes somethin on it, and i just wonderin what he uses! i know on the album version its layered with alot of guitars to give it that Sexy feel to it, <- the chorus part, But what does he use to play it live?? can anyone help??
+ anyone got any double hammer-on/pull off exercises??

yea same about waiting for albus to come out^^ i hardly ever wait for new albums to come out, most new albums are a let down, but is there live in space? is great i keep listenin to it all the time! :)

killerkenny: - i kinda see what ya mean in the way u can kinda imitate the guitar notes into lyrics, I found that "just look up" on the new album the guitar sounds like its sayin "just look up"
But then again joe has an amazing ability of phrasing unbelievably good guitar melodies! and his pinky finger is to damn independant! practice some double hammer ons and pull off techniques and using ur pinkie I play loads of joe's songs and i nearly always got to use my pinky,

woo 8 songs! in 2003 g3 joe got 5 songs steve got 3 and malmsteen got 5, then they all did 3, but im sure ya already know that! and in 96 they got 3 songs each!
But 45 mins is great! cool news to hear, i wana hear crushing day live, i'd like to hear friends, that song is rockin live, i wudnt be surprised if i cried hearing him live...
but im goin to the london gig on the 29th june from dublin i got the whole trip for 180, incl concert tickets, plane tickets, and a hotel, :) that was a sweet deal and on the 25th im goin to metallica, and 22nd im gettin a half stack :) shud be a great week :)

hucbald he uses gauge 9 d'dario strings and im not sure what picks, cant remember off the top of my head, + i seen him use d'dario straps, <-straplocks... and im sure you'll find a bunch of info on the net, just ask jeeves :)

hows that js100 play?? the pickups any good? U gona change them??
ima leftie so i cant get any JS models or Jem's at that >:-( but i got my Rg1570L if i cud get a Js id get the 1200 or 1000 they're rockin guitars

Yea the Js1000 i always went for, I wudnt play it upside down though!, id rather make my own leftie JS, but im sure ibanez custom shop make one, and maybe with the tree of life on the fretbaord <-- that sounds damn sexy
But the js2000 uses the FX bridge Joe uses the EDGE pro trems in his JS1000 and js1200 i havnt seen him use the js2000 though, so who knows!
Anyone try out the new Dimarzio PAF joe pickups? I know the FRED pickups are sweet, jus wonderin what the new pickup combo is like

that is a bit of hassle bringin ur guitar to a show! but sweet if u got it signed, and yea, they can put a finish over the signature to keep it on permanent, $125 though (but yea get it done properly) + why u choosin to get it signed on the back? i know its still to keep the front and look of the guitar but if i had Joes signature id show it off to everyone!!! heh,
But i see where ur comin from,
But what can ya do dood, jus hope for the best and let the ink set in on the guitar it shud be ok in the case locked in, Jus keep it in a comfy guitar case, and make sure the inks dried in :)

I havnt got joe's Yet im goin to g3 in london so ill wait outside the venue for a day straight
But i met steve vai in Ny in times square lookin for samash, i got his autograph and then 3 hrs later i met him again! so i got a pic with him, and when i got home i was jus done restringing and cleanin my guitar, and steve's film crossroads was on!! but i only caught the last 15 mins, But it was the best few days ever! i only bought one of his cd's the day before too... :) thought id share that story with u all weh hey

yep, day at the beach is the same two handed tapping technique that he uses in midnight, but day at the beach more complicated to play, But its all good once i practice at it and get familier with the chord shapes :)
+ joe used a cloth covered lightly over the first fret to help prevent unwanted noises in the recording of midnight, and for playing midnight or day at the beach i use single coil pickup and a compresor so all the notes are sounded evenly + a bit of chorus to, to give it a nice clean sound :)
