anyways, on a serious Note
Im orderin a PAF PRO and a FRED, - BUT i heard the fred acts like a single coil under high gain........ I dont want a single coil sound froma humbucker!
I want a nice warm fat tone, like joes on FIABD, the extremist etc....
how is the FRED, i heard its like the PAF with more balls....

yea thats what i wana shy away from! thin sounds, i wana fat ass thick tone inbetween Vai's and joe's Evo's seem to have Huge output, and less warm tones,
u heard my soundclip right? thats my tone now i kinda like it, it can be a bit to fat at times, but the pickups im gettin are red, and im going thru trouble gettin them so i gota make the right choice, the sound of a PAF pro in the neck sounds nice But i dont know about the fred =/
need all the advice i can get!
:)

Perceived output level: Higher side of middle-output. Very responsive to p/u height adjustments, so you can make the output relatively low if you want.
Tone: VERY well balanced.
Sonic evaluation: I have used this pickup with a variety of amplifiers. When you first get this pickup, you will sound a little too much like Joe Satriani. This is because the FRED has a very unique sound, and since Joe Satriani uses this pickup, you'll pick it out immediately. With more experience, however, you will be able to twist your guitar's volume and tone pots and dial in countless sounds. It is ridiculously responsive to your volume and tone controls. Volume high/tone low will accent the pickup's bassy tones. Volume low/tone low is very very clean and warm. Volume low/tone high is very rich in the sonic spectrum and produces something on the brighter side of warm. Volume high/tone high produces a sound rich in harmonics. It seems very bright, but it breaks up *just a little*, producing a sound that is both bright and warm at the same time. Not VERY bright, and not the WARMEST, but a fantastic combination of both. It's a unique sound.
I like that review on it!! sounds liek what i want, but theres others saying it not as good.......
Link to harmony central Fred reviews!

im gona go with a wild guess, With aeolian, harmonic minor and phrygian :D
its in the key of c aint it? Amin, im sure someone will tell us
+ on a further note! its definityl a paf pro in the neck, and Either a Fred or a Tone zone in the bridge
i herd reviews on the tone zone and its a mix between the fred and the paf pro
BUT i cant find it F spaced In red...... just normal Spacing in red....

i have the boss dd-3, i didnt need the extra featrures of the dd-6, But in all fairness, the dd-3 isnt the most versatile delay but its reliable and gets the job done well :)
