Here goes nothing.... Hi Joe, I have been a loyal fan since 1987 when I first heard surfing... You sure rocked my imagination man! before that, I didn't even know that could be done on an electric guitar! There is something magical about the liricism of your songs, the way they open up dream worlds for my imagination to feast upon. Even when you have always been deemed a shredder, you are much more than that. Even when Surfing with the alien was your showcase all out guitar album, I could close my eyes and see what you meant on each song. you are an important part of my life even if you don't know it, so I guess that's why I'm writing this message, to let you know about it. Thanks for your music, for the inspiration and for the always refreshing ride, album after album. Denes from Puerto Rico
