I do, I try to be like every one esle, do what they do, be up early in the mornings and do whats needed, but i dont live that way my hours are from after 3pm to about 5am , especially early hrs of the morning, Its the time when i can kick back ,relax, be myself with out any fears , tinker away at my guitar (with headphones on) or what ever, Ive never ever been a day person ever

OCPS470 is right, u do need a decent sound card for your pc if you want to get into the home recording stuff, i have soundblaster card, Ill find the model number later, its 3am so bit late now, but any way this is what i do. this is my set up

I have a packard bell pc 2.4 with 2 hard drives, one for the usual windows stuff, and the second for my music, around the 200 gigs on both. now I have cakewalks guitar tracks pro 3 , which has about 30 or more tracks for recording , i cant remember the exact amount but its pleanty., now , my set up, I run my guitar into my old roland effects unit, then out of that to my mixer, so i can controll the volume of the guitar, from the mixer it goes to the line input of the pc sound card, u can use those plugs or adapters from your local pc shop that have 2 black litte rings around the tips , if only has one thats mono, the 2 mean its stereo, u get one that plugs on to your guitar lead (if u dont have a mixer ) ie comming from your effects to your line input, then use your windows volume mixer ( if u have windows xp) and u can control the volume there if u like
