BAND UPDATE
Well it looks like we have a line up!!!! We have found three other guys with similar goals and chops that are not assholes. Noone drinks excesively (with the exception of me when I'm in the chat Woo Hoo V&C), and everyone has lots of experience with playing out. We are now going through the set lists. when I have a better idea I'll post for comment. Have a good night all.

Austin - nice to see you around again. Sounds like you stayed in So Cal for the summer. Tired of Folsom? Did they ever open the lake road? (just popped into my head). I start my 4th of 5 years in about a month. Gonna kick my ass. Anyway off to work.
Cheese - Hope you're feeling better today
Ok, not really. Ha ha Get to work Drama Queen!!

Cuth - That was my exact thought when I saw that pic. There's no way in hell that should be legal
Michelle Glad you had a good time. I'm really bummed DT is off the tour when it gets here. I may go anyway just for MD but we'll see. I am going to Tower of Power and Santana next month. Both of those should be very cool.
Castle - How's the Oregon house hunt goin? There are some nice places for sale in my neighborhood if you want to live closer in to Portland.

Castle I live in a weird little triangle of un incorporated Washington County. We are bordered by Tigard, Beaverton and Portland. We do have lots of Pine trees and rain. Lots of Accounting jobs up here. *hint hint* I haven't been to the southern coast but I here it's nice. I just can't live in a small town. We live on a busy road and I get asked if the noise bothers me. And I'm like "No way it's soooooothing." I can't stand the quiet. It makes me nervy. But we do have large lots around us lots of tall trees and you have no idea that you are only 10 minutes from downtown. So it's really the best of both worlds. The best thing about being up here is all the green space. Lots of parks. The one close to us has the standard park stuff, play ground, baseball fields, off leash dog area... then you walk over a creek and you're in the middle of a forest. With fir and cedar trees 100 -150 feet tall. All this in the middle of an urban area. Totally cool. Well enough Portland pimping. If you have any questions let me know.

Castle - we had a high unemployment rate due to the mini high tech collapse. But with Accounting from all the calls my wife gets from recruiters there are positions open. She just took a new SEC reporting position, It was them calling her, not so much her looking. Although she did have the feelers out. I don't remember exactly your field of expertise but with all the changes going on inthe industry it shouldn't be hard at all. What's the Hubby dofor $$?
Yes, it is beautiful up here. And the people are nice. Like the ones in Atlanta even our Meth heads are nice.

Steve T - If you stand up and play most time your weight is on your right foot with your left foot forward. This makes using the wah w/ your left foot the most comfortable since it is the normal playing position. That's why I use my left foot.

Steve T - I'll call "electricrainbow2297" and see if he has any pics of his to post. Lon lives up here and has one. They are very nice. He has said he's never seen another one. They are elusive.
kd6aaj - Good Luck!!

Cuth - The federal gas tax is a fixed tax. Currently, I believe, the feds tax at 18.4 cents/gal. For that rate to go up it would have to be approved by Congress. Oregon has a tax of 24 cents/gal. And as the fed tax, can only be changed through legislation. I don't know if all states do this the same way though. It would be worth looking into.

Mikes B - Nice collection of pictures. Brightened my day. As for the Gary Moore guitar, there was one her in town about 6 mos ago...cause I played it. Not sure it's still around but I will try to find out. I like them cause they are not as heavy as the reg LPs.
Michelle - Up, down, sideways, especially pushed together... I like my tits all of the above!!

Ok just to set the record straight, they don't bounce when I walk!!
No, I would not like to have any of that art. My concept of good art is something that I would not be able to reproduce myself. If I put paint on my wife's chest and pressed a canvas to it, I could make those. Hence, not good. While I'm on the topis of canvases, I think Mike's problem is not the DISTANCE from canvas but the SIZE of the canvas. Smaller things tend to appear futher away. And who is going to pay good money for matchbook art. LOL

Michelle - Thanks for the pic. GW is an ass. I, to my surprise am not a goofy foot. Left foot forward always.
Cuth - Ski Patrol, very nice! I didn't learn how to ski until I was 19. I had a friend that I took with me to play baseball and basketball in the hood and he took me with to do "white" sports. He taught me how to ski, sail, water ski... We were a door to each others worlds. Anyway, I tried snowboarding for the first time a couple years ago. I will never ski again. It was so much more fun. Like surfing on snow. The best is that it doesn't make my knees hurt. I have duck feet and trying to keep skis straight is a pain in the ass. Boarding is much nicer.

Brother Al - That pic is HORRIBLE. I almost yakked up my Cheerios!! But on the other hand it totally doesn't surprise me.
Super Tom - I like Power tabs. They have a wide variety and the tabs are pretty good. The other guitarist, in my band, and I also use it for writing out harmony lines and then send them to each other. It works out pretty sweet.
