On the chat Michelle hit it on the head.
Michelle - Yea the titles are great. And they are good players.
Keniko - Thanks. I've found that the players that make me want to play more are the ones I like the best.
DCK - It's been nice not dealing with you!!

Cuth - No better way to start the mornin than T***ies and Beer.
Gay Al - The track sounded nice. I could nit pick a couple thjings if you want the constructive critizism. Aah just read Cuths post. My opinions would be the same. And you were playing the notes rather than expressing them.
Guitarmiester - Along with Berkelee you should look at different universities too. There are some schools back east with very good music programs. Don't narrow you choices too soon.
Student Loans - Student loans are just that loans. They need to be repayed. End of discussion. I feel you should also have to do some community service while in school as part of the repayment.
Lab report - check
Materials memo - check
Transportation HW -check
Fluids final - check
Thermo final - check
Almost done. Transpo and materials final tomorrow morning... then finish my essay. Chocolate Martini here I come!!!!

Getting Better - A couple sayings that have got me through
Improvement comes in platues.
Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.
Schedule, schedule schedule.
Touch mama everyday (even if it's only for 10-15 minutes)
Hang in there guys and gals

Keniko - Here you go. Sing loud.
Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It doesn't show signs of Pauseping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
What is a song lyric with out the history behind the words
The wonderful Christmas song Let It Snow was created by lyricist Sammy Cahn and the composer Jule Styne in 1945.
The words and lyrics of Let It Snow reflect the feeling of warmth and security associated with Christmas and also brings in the more modern customs of popping corn!
The song Let It Snow was reprised in recent years when used in the Bruce Willis film Die Hard which started with the film's hero travelling to meet his family at Christmas.

Delfino - You're in a tough spot. You are, at 18, being asked what it is you want to do for the next 20-40 years. I think that is a decision that is nearly impossible to make. SO, my advice is to sit down with the folks and have a conversation. My guess is that your folks are, like most 18 year olds parents, a bit sharper than you give them credit for. Look at ALL the options. The worst decision is an uninformed decision. If you need some more info on what it is like as a returning student or some of my regrets. Let me know. I'll be more than happy to share.

String Breaking - I actually like the sound of the duller strings and therefore keep them on as long as possible. I break one about once a month. Could be any string too. Last Sat I broke the A. Always in the same spot too. Right on the trem saddle. What I normally do is take the broke little bit off., pull a little from on the tuning peg and retune. Wham bamm, back in biz. Anyway just my 2 cents

Well I'm happy to say that [br}
I PASSED ALL MY CLASSES!!
Not the best of grades (2-Bs and 3-Cs) but considering the work load (18 class hours a week), the course topics, and my schedule, I'm frikin happy.
Next on the docket is Structural Analysis (should be fun), Environmental Analysis (bad teacher), and Hydrology (flow is flow). Should be a good quarter.

Keniko - Civil Engineering. I'm trying to be like Mikesb. lol That string wrap is the technique I use on the classical guitar. For the electric, I like to have more extra at the top.

The internet tabs will be an interesting story. The tabs that are posted are one persons interpretation of what they hear. How is that infringing on intellectual property? Plus, noone is profitting. If this goes to a pay by song type of basis, is the music industry willing to pay all the people, who tabbed the songs, for their time? And how much? This is going to be very interesting. Plus, if all these songs were available and people were copying them ,it would be one thing but many are not. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered.

962 - I ended up taking the trem set portion off of my S470. It just felt weird. I may need to give it another shot cause it drives me crazy to let an open string ring and then play something up high with a bend or vibrato and hear the open sring detune. Prolly should give it another shot.

Mikesb - That AT-300 looks a lot like an HM Strat.
Back in school and ready for a normal quarter. I am flying down to Cali tomorrow and i'm going to play at my uncles funeral. Should be interesting. I don't plyt a lick of acoustic so, I'm transporting my RG and my Pandora . We'll see how it goes. May be a bit much for the older crowd...
