wwwdotcomhere - That beep has com in very handy in off times. If I sit with the chat open while doing other things I know if someone pops in. Plus if it bugs you so much you can always turn off the speakers.
On the other side I have no idea what that other chat format is that you were talking about.
LOL

Growler - Welcome in. What part of the islands are you in. My family is from Kauai, outside Hanapepe. My great-grandfather was a Dole foreman from Puerto Rico. I'l also be there in July (Kona) for my sisters wedding. Reallyt looking forward to spending some time over there enjoying the island and the Local food. Oh well back to the books. Have a test tomorrow.

Noppa - I can feel your pain. I will be losing my G'ma anytime now. She has lived a long life and is just waiting to go. She will be 94 in August. I got a call Saturday that she had a mild stroke and has some kidney issues. Take care of you and yours and hope that we will live a long and full life as well.

VFRocker - Nice to see you around again. You crack me up!!!
Steve T - Yes, we are. We are in the process of recording some tracks for the site. My guess though is that since the singer/recording engineer is a perfectionist it will be a month or two before anything gets put up. There should be pics and bios up[ soon. Thanks for the input.

Saw this on Craig's list about music on MySpace. I am researching it further, but thought I would throw it out there anyway.
I don't think this is widley known yet, but Tom Anderson's Myspace.com record label, Myspace Records, is a subsidiary of Interscope records as of November of 2005.
Since then their Terms of Service has been modified to state that by uploading a song to their website, you grant myspace.com a non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense through unlimited levels of sublicensees) to use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publicly perform, publicly display, store, reproduce, transmit, and distribute such Content on and through the Services.
The TOS also states that the license will terminate at the time you remove your media from their website. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a back-up or residual copy of the Content posted by you may remain on the MySpace.com servers after you have removed the Content from the Services, and MySpace.com retains the rights to those copies.
Don't give your music away to Tom Anderson so that he may profit from it, he doesn't deserve it.
I'll post more when I know more.

CuppaJoe - It sure sounds like you are related to Jazzy and Growler. None the less, MANY of us here enjoy Wolf's posts. His spin on life and reality are his alone. As for Michelle, here is Jim Croce given you a little advice:
You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Chelle

Well the new quarter has started. Indeterminant Structures, Soil Mechanics, and Water Resources. Should be an interesting quarter. I don't really care too much about the structures class. I've had 20+ years of building things. The other two are very interesting, landslides and drinking water. Woo Hoo!! The water classes always scare me though. There is so much that the general public takes for granted when it comes to water quality. OOOH gives me the shivers. Definately ignorance is bliss!!

Yea, amp talk. I personally , was never into the Marshall tone. It seemed that the people, like Joe, who had a nice sound played through a Marshall but with something in the signal chain as the overdrive, like the DS-1. So, basically all the head was used for was power. Hell, I played for years through my MP-1 with great succes. I now have a Mesa. I got it for the little extra saturation you can get. Just the sound I like. Anyway my $.02.

Yazzer - That sucks. It's a long shot, but any chance of talking the parents into a trip to Seattle. Can't hurt to ask. Good luck.
