Hope everyone is having a good holiday season.
Just an FYI Stu has cancelled his dates here in OR and WA. :( But I have been informed that the local bands will still be playing with a couple more to be added. So if you're in the Portland OR area Jan 11th would be great to see you.
Happy New Year's Everyone!!

Hey Peps,
Just checking in and giving an update
First off I got to go to my first NAMM show. Holy crap what a great time. Got a few pics with people and got to hang out with Geo Lynch for about an hour just shooting the breeze. Got to meet up with our dear Austin and have dinner. that was very nice. Ran into MikesB, too!
Then this past Wednesday Earth to Ashes got to open for Sister Sin and Doro Pesch. What a great night. Sister Sin are not only a cool band to listen to but they are just great people. Got to hand out with them for quite a while. Unfortunately, I had to run the merch booth during Doro's set but was able to hear most of it. And there is video online that I was able to watch.
Coming up we have a couple shows but the main focus is writing. We have 6 of the 11 new songs written so far.
Lastly on the drummer issue. I'm a bit late to the party but I think Joe could use some spice. I know I've said this before but the last couple CDs have felt really flat. So I am really hoping I don't have another Meh come out of me after listening.
Well that's it here's to good music, good friends, and good times

Looking forward to the new CD as always. But as many of you know I haven't been the biggest fan of the last couple or the Chickenfoot stuff. Hoping for some energy out of this CD.
Meanwhile back in PDX we played a show and got some video for a few songs.
Death Mex
The Snake
Gabriel's Hammer
Then I also did a Rig Rundown of the gear I'm going to be using on our new CD.

Fireman - Yea I must be getting harder in my old age. I think a lot has to do with tempo. It may not be true but it seems like tall the songs lately are at the same tempo and have the same drum beat. Kinda the same reason I can only listen to Reggae so so long. Like and unresolved chord I keep waiting for something to grab me. Dunno. It's cool Joe is playing Salem. I was curious where cause there isn't much in that town for venues. BTW we'll be in Tangent in June 1st and in Redmond Sept 14th. If you can make either of those it would be good to see you.

^^^ That's funny. Yet very true.
I was going to give you a helping hand but the video has been removed.
So we go into the studio on Sunday to start recording drums. Hope to have the new CD out by Xmas, time permitting.

I was just thinking, if and when the time comes that Wolf doesn't post here anymore I'm not sure how I will handle that. He's been a fixture in here ever since I joined back in 04. This place just won't be the same.

Dec 13th we are with Fates Warning at the Hawthorne. Not the best place for pictures so consider it a challenge. : )

Hey peeps just checking in with y'all. Hope all is going well.
Personally, Earth to Ashes is back to recording after taking October off. All the rhythm tracks will be done this month and solos start tonight. Hoping to get the CD out by March 2014. Also, we are opening for Fates Warning next month in Portland, OR so if anyone wants to go drop me a note. Other than I missed Joe on this tour. Slightly bummed about that but I'm glad people are turning out for his shows being as he is not just talented by a stand up guy. That's it for now. Have a great Week!!

Congrats Kayla! Seems only yesterday YOU were the baby on the board.
Hope all is well with everyone. Wanted to give a little CD update. All the Drums, bass, an rhythm tracks are recorded. There are a few little edits and possible rerecords that will need to be done but the bulk of the recording is in the can. Now to write and record solos.
Here is a short little teaser vid I put together.
Hope you like it. Till next time have a very nice Thanksgiving.

Hey Everyone,
After 16 mos of writing and recording our CD is now available for download at CDBaby, iTunes and various other sites. As an independent artist I would encourage you to use CD Baby if at all possible. Thanks and I hope the cd lives up to the expectations we have from members of this forum.
Cheers and a great day!!

Hey Peeps!! Long time no talk. It was a pretty busy summer with the CD release and gig schedule. Highlight was playing the Guitars Under the Stars festival here in Oregon. Lots of great acts on the bill including Pat Travers, Tony MacAlpine, Lita Ford, Gary Hoey, Bruce Bouillet (who was SUPER cool) and Jennifer Batten.
As we head into 2015 I wanted to let you know of a cool interview I did with CVWW. Also, in this edition is an interview with Robin McAuley. Anyway I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Keep Rockin!!
