italy got lucky and well i think luck is part and parcel of a game,,,,,and ukraine...well they played to their strength and that was Chevkovsky.they were always playing for a TB.......he has been one of the best in Europe for the last 10 years or so since his early days at Dynamo Kiev........... frankly even though i support Ukraine and dont like Italy i dont see Ukraine going through......the cunning and shrewd italians will get the better of them tactically....and frankly though i rate Lubinovsky the Ukraine coach very highly i think Lippi will make the killer switches which will harm Ukraine.....

first of all........guys.......tonight i can sleep peacefully and to be honest i really need some sound sleep....so tonight and tomorrow i intend to go off to sleep by 9 and wake up after 12 hours....... i think most of us Asian guys can do with some sleep for two nights as we have been missing out on that since the World Cup began..believe it or not,i have lost 4 kgs since the world cup began.........strain and not enough rest is doing it for me.....i needed to cut down on some weight and guess it helped that i had to watch world cup games every night till dawn..........hurrah and happy dreams to all my asian brothers who follow the WC.

SPAIN CHOKED AGAIN.......if yu follow cricket then yu wont have a problem comparing Spain with South Africa.....no matter what the world said before the game i had always backed France to beat Spain coz i knew Spain would flatter to deceive when it really matters.......they Self Destruct although i think the fould on Puyol was unfair....Henry played for it and i think it was not fair on the part of Puyol...henry has not forgotten the Champions League final and so he wanted to get even with Puoyol who shut him out of the Champions League final... but anyway i dont see France going any further than this....they lack invention,creativity.......PIRES and GULY and MICOUD would or could have made a lot of difference..............but i guess Domenech knows whats best for them........Henry is still looking like he would rather be at home than in the world cup.....

Brazil.....well i had already predicted a mini rout....people were talking about Ghana and an upset....but Experience counts when the elimination round begins....and yes a lot of yu might think that Brazil got lucky coz Ghana could,,,,,yes COULD have scored so many goals had their finishing been better....well that is the difference between Class teams like Brazil and the also rans like Ghana...give Brazil two clear chance s and they will take at least one and convert it into a goal...but teams like Ghana ...frankly they need more years in the world stage before they can cause any real flutter......had Ghana scored a goal the margin of victory for Brazil could have been even bigger as guys like Cafu and Others would have played with more inspiration and emotion and thus pass the ball to goal scorers like Ronaldo rather than taking pot shots themselves....Brazil can raise the level of a game within seconds....they tamed the Ghanians....and yes,in Henry and Zidane and Viera fail aginst them they will rout France and revenge the 1998 debacle.....

the tour de france is drawing to a close and the yank(my favourite to win) Flyod Landis has cracked yesterday....from the yellow jersey o 11th place....now he is 8.08 minutes behind Oscar Perreiro with a day in the Alps, a flat stage and an ITT to go before the march to Paris on sunday......i think Landis has blown it yesterday...no coming back as 8 minutes is difficult to retrieve ina day on the alps....the only thing left is for him to do a Time Trial in the Alps today to gain back the lost time or get in a breakaway with about 3/4 Phonak team mates.......i am so disappointed with Landis as probably this is his last tour as he will be having a hip surgery after the tour and so this might be his last tour de france.....he never looked in trouble yesterday and was riding with the Pelaton with about 18 kms to go...then Carlos Sastre of CSC fired and exploded from the Pelaton...the others followed and Lnadis cracked ...he lost 10 minutes in the last 18 kms.....poor guy...if only he had continued to ride for team Discovery he could have had team mates rallying behind him and he could have easily won the Tour this year .....he could have become the leader of team discovery with armstrong gone.....anyway it is his wish and sadly he could not ride alone a la Armstrong.....who will win the Tour??????? the most open Tour ever and with three stages to go there is still no clear favourite...today is the last day of the alsp and sure the winner will be determined by the end of todays' stage...just watch out !!!!!!!!!!!!! enjoy the tour....VIVE LE TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ovation............mike ..bro i am so relieved to see yur post.......anyway i am glad to know that yur ok and actually it is not yur health but yur work that had tied yu up....... so did yu see the tour yesterday....LANDIS is back after an unbelievable day in the alps yesterday..i had predicted an individual time trial by LANDIS in the ALPS yesterday and how right i was...he cut down an 8.08 deficit into a 30 second deficit in a single day and from 11th place he is now back to 3rd....so any one betting aginst him...time trial is his forte and saturday will be the day of his life...he will ride the TT of his life and perhaps win the tour for the one and only time in his life....sastre and perreiro are closely ahead but time trial is LANDIS territory and so anything between 1 to 1 and half minute will be easy meat for landis........i think landis will win .......i have a strong feeling taht he will cut any deficit during the time trial on saturday...he is the best time trialer among the leaders and so i think it is very obvious now that he is the winner of the tour....watch out for saturday to be the day of surprises in the TOUR DE FRANCE..........have a nice day bro.......enjoy the race for another day or two,,,,at least the tour is much more better for viewing than the football world cup...... .....peace.

well people.....i have VERY IMPORTANT NEWS to share with everyone concerned......yesterday i called steven and our conversation lasted for about 20 minutes or so...i have been trying to get in touch with him since thursday but could not get through..yesterday thank god we connected and i managed to talk with him......frankly our conversation could not have been any worse .....it was full of tears and emotions....steven is going thru probably the "TOUGHEST PHASE OF HIS LIFE" AND he needs all the prayers and best wishes......he was in tears thru out the conversation.......he has problems galore and would like everyone of his friends here to pray for him........i had a tough night as it was already nearing midnight by the time i finished talking to him..i couldnt sleep till about 4.30 in the morning,twisting and turning all over the bed......i can feel the pain and so please if any of yu cares for steven do pray for him....please light a candle for him, it does not take more than a few seconds to light a candle and who knows,,,this act by all of yu might change the fortune of stevens life...i am worried but frankly am in bno position to help but only pray to god to help steven overcome all his problems,,,i know what he is going thru is not any ordinary problem that we go thru in life and i could feel it in his cries yesterday...it is sad that a person who is so loving and caring should have to go thru so much pain.he does not deserve this!!!!!! period!!!!!he was repeating the fact that he loves and misses everyone at t2j........he thanked all of yu who have been remembering and praying for him......he made an honest request to everyone concerned to please "pray for him".........believe me as i write this i am holding back my tears as this is my workplace but there is no stopping me at home......i canno fathom why a person so loving and sincere and affectionate as Steven have to go thru this.........i hope God answers all our prayers and give him back his life.......PLEASE PRAY FOR STEVEN.....i am shatterred and at a wits end......i hope god knows what he is doing to steven.just so yu guys know everytime i mentioned someone from t2j he was moved to tears...he sorely and badly misses everyone at t2j....

hi guys.. ..had another talk with steven last night...he sounded better than the night before.....anyway i just want to pass on this message from STEVEN to all the guys at T2J...... here goes...... steven wanted me to tell yu guys that he is really missing all of yu and fact is he does not have a computer anymore as he lost it and so mailing and posting at t2j is not a possibility....he said that he really cares for all at t2j and would like to thank each and every one of you for appreciating his music...he says that he would love to be back and he is hopeful that one day by the grace of God he will be back....... he also says that he remembers all of you in his prayers.... and he would be very grateful and indebted if yu guys could pray for him.... i just want to assure you that he is not having any bout of seisure at the moment..... he is physically very sound and OK........ he is going thru a mental wreck coz of some problem he is facing,,i guess yu people must have seen ATNs post yesterday..... if not then please go back to yesterdays post of Randell(ATN) and yu will know why Steven is in such a bad situation now........ i just wanna say this to yu guys that Steven is in a mess not coz he is a bad person but coz he is a loving and caring person and so his nature of caring for people got him into this mess as he became close with the wrong group of guys.......anyway..... he really misses all at t2j.....he misses playing the guitar and that is not a possibility now as he has too much in his mind....... he needs help and even his Doctor is a jerk..... steven has not gotten any medication or proper check up in a long time...... well that is what steven is facing now....... called steven yesterday and had another long conversation again....about half an hour or a few minutes more...fact is he thinks he is going to die in the very very near future,,,,he says that he would rather die than live such a wretched life......he can hardly ever come out of his apartment........life is so hard for him,,,he cannot even go out to buy his bare necessities......well i can feel his pain and if anyone of yu do too ,simply follow what this message indicates...... i humbly request you to post a message completely dedicated to steven......yu can say anything yu want to him.......THIS IS A REQUEST TO EACH AND EVERYONE AT T2J....INCLUDING joe himself...if he cares,,,i know he is resting and all...but still...............steven was and is still a fan of his...........

i wanna assure each and everyone of you that steven is living by all your thoughts and prayers and best wishes,,,that is what is keeping him going...i talk regularly with him now and i know that he is striving for love and peace...he is hurt as he has always been spontaneous with people and reacated quickly......he gives his heart to a person once he gets to know him or her....he is a loving and honest person who is hurt and needs yu guys......i am hurt too as i see the response to be very slack to my earlier appeals...frankly i wanna say one thing to each and everyone who knew steven.......
