Joe: When my Marine came back from the war, last October, he treated me to a ticket for the G3 at House of Blues in Orlando... it was entirely too cool. Believe it or not, dear ol' dad turned him on to The Satch Tapes many years ago. Anyway, he says we've got to go again, when you stop thru Jacksonville. We like the righteous, foot-stompin' rockers you play, and Dear Ol' Mom, whose tastes are on the lighter side, will remain at home, sends her best wishes to you, and promises to put Sleep Walk on repeat for the entire time we're away. Seeya soon.

Joe: Must've been around 1959, as a 7th grader, when I saved up a dollar and purchased Duane Eddy's RAMROD on 45rpm. Thirty-seven years later, I discovered you in a music store where I found The Satch Tapes on VHS. Needless to say, I have nearly a complete collection of your work. These days, TEN WORDS and MOVIN' ON are rattling the dishes one room away in my wife's China closet. You're doing a mighty fine job of looking out for us old-timey rock and rollers, and I thank you. Keep on keepin' on.

Joe, it's been several years since I stopped by... just wanna say "thanks again" for always thinking about us old rock and roll enthusiasts when you include a masterpiece like "A Door Into Summer" on your CDs. It ranks up there with "Summer Song", "Movin' On", "If I Could Fly", and "Seven Strings". Keep on keepin' on.
