Zincmaster, an oldie but a goodie. November 2nd let's take out the Obamatron Komrades trash.

The Obambas and Oprah were flying over the country one day when Oprah decided to throw a thousand dollar bill out of the plane. BHO asks why she would do that. She replies, "I just made the one person who finds that, very happy".

BHO says he can throw ten hundred dollar bills off the plane and make ten people happy.

Michelle says she could throw a hundred ten dollar bills off the plane and make a hundred people happy.

The pilot tells his co pilot, " I could throw these three morons off the plane and make millions of people happy"!

Congratulations to the Conservative movement in yesterday's elections.

Some of the trash has been taken out of Congress.

Now it is time to remove the Marxist garbage from the White House.

Tracks 3 and 8...OK

Track 10... very good, best of the bunch.

Track 11... good to hear you give props to Jesus, and acknowledge that Obama is a lie. Maybe you guys aren't the Hollywood liberals I suspected.

Otherwise, I'm not diggin this one at all.

Joe, all your solo efforts say " play this one again". Even amongst the best of CF III, there's not one that says that. This CD will likely never get played again.

Sorry Joe, this one is a real stinker.

Chelle,

Not a "chickenfoot sucks" person, but no way a blind follower either. Yeah, lyrics are an issue, but most R&R over the years has had stupid lyrics, which is why I like JS so much. He just "shuts up and plays his guitar" (Zappa).

Not excited about SH's "act" either. Too brash for my taste. I always liked Joe's seeming humility.

Their first album wasn't bad, lots of stupid lyrics, but musically pretty OK. Trouble was, after a few listens it was frankly quite boring. CF III didn't even make me want to listen to it again, with the exception of track 10, which is quite good, particularly Joe's parts.

Sorry, CF just doesn't have the staying power that Joe's solo work has. Maybe should have named it "2" (haha).

Blue Moon sums it up perfectly... if Joe was not a part of CF, I would have had zero interest. Regardless of Joe, after CF III, I'm out.

Hybes

I don't doubt the effort that went into CF III. No one doubts the individual talents of the band. But I don't listen to hear all the little technicalities of the mixing. It IS all about the song(s), and outside of Something Gone Wrong, this CD is just a lot of noise.

No offense intended to your opinion, but I don't have to "work" to enjoy a Satch solo album.

Anybody notice the similarity of the last 20 seconds or so of "Light Years Away" from BS&WH, and the main theme of "Something Gone Wrong"?

Can you plagiarize yourself?

OK, politics, Yer in my wheelhouse now.

Damn right the Rep's are trying to block the POTUS efforts, Thank God.

That piece of garbage had two years of a Dem. House and Senate and got EVERYTHING passed that he wanted. All of his Progressive/Socialist agenda.

Wanna see Romney's tax returns? I WANT TO SEE ALL OF THE FAST AND FURIOUS DOCUMENTS that the Pretender and Thief is hiding under presidential privelege. ....tax returns, a diversion from the real criminal activity.

POTUS grew up in Indonesia, a Communist country. Mom and dad, Communists. Later grew up in Hawaii, a state that most people don't know, the natives do not like the US for taking over their island. BHO hates this country.

BHO IS A CARD CARRYING MEMBER of "the New Party", a euphemism for "Socialist". Look it up. He wants redistibution of wealth, and once said something like "Whoever decided that greed was a virtue" (paraphrase)? I want to know who decided that taking what does not belong to you is a virtue.

He has stated that the Constitution is a flawed document. Oh yeah? His first and biggest lie as POTUS was "I promise to protect and defend the Constitution of the US". He's been pissing on it ever since he got in.

He is a Communist, a criminal, a traitor, and an enemy of our nation.

That Obama sticker on back of your car might as well say, "I'M STUPID".

michelle,

FYI, If I was talking about ANY POTUS I would have used JFK, LBJ, RMN,GHWB, WJC, GWB. It would seem I can thank you for being the typical Liberal who can twist and take offense to anything that is said. H IS his middle initial, duh. Mmm...Walker, scary name.

As far as not wanting to respond to the rest, that is typical liberal too. It's facts: but I wouldn't want to confuse you with them. Go ahead, check on it. You won't like what you find, because the man you defend IS a Marxist, by his own words.

He has surrounded himself with self proclaimed Marxists in the many Czars he has appointed and advisors. Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod...it's an exhausting list.

If you dare, look up a man named Frank Marshall Davis. He would be BHO's mentor as a young man. This guy was on the FBI's (is Bureau a dirty word?) watch list in case of a war with Russia.

It's not hate or fear mongering. I hate what the man is, not necessarily him, He was brought up that way and doesn't get what it means to grow up "American". If I am stating fact, it's not fear mongering. It's just a hope to enlighten those who swallow the lies that he and his regime feed us.

You may not like what I say, but I DO KNOW what I'm talking about. I have heard the words come from HIS mouth, not just some right winger talk show host. I weigh, I investigate. This guy is a bad dude.

And now for something completely different. Voter ID. There IS NO reasonable argument against it. Regardless of any evidence or lack thereof, of voter fraud, we have a one man one vote system. In this day and age of technology, cheating is easy. Why not have safeguards? Our electoral system has been the envy of the world. Let's protect it. The ONLY reason to fight ID's is to protect the efforts of those who would cheat. It is really that simple.

You need a photo ID to get a credit card, a fishing license, cash a check or any of a myriad of other things. Nobody's crying discrimination over that. So get over it. Show your ID, cast your vote, and be glad that there might be a safeguard to our system, and that your vote might actually count, once.

By the way, no one ever accused me of being tactful.

PS Michelle,

Hate? I believe I see you used the words, kind of people "I despise", when speaking of Romney and Trump.

Ever heard the one about glass houses and throwing stones?

How to confuse a liberal:

Use facts and logic.

If they don't like what you say, attack with empty BS.

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

Never said you hated all rich people.

But for those who despise Romney because he looks down his nose on those who have less...

His tax info came out today for 2011:

approx. 14M income approx. 2M taxes paid/13-14% approx. 4M given to charity-almost 30%

Gave away 4 Million dollars!!! What a creep. Just doesn't give a damn about anybody, does he?

And yes, you liberals, he still has 8M left. It's HIS MONEY. Good for him. Whatever goods and services or investments he might make with it, creates work for someone,...duh.

I don't agree with all of his stuff, but I don't agree with my wife either all the time, but overall...

He's not a Communist.

Whoa, gave his money to a church!!!

What a horrible man. Those darn churches, always helping people that are hungry, homeless, sick.

Thanks for not responding. lol

And as far as "writing off" that half, it's just a wise acceptance that those who are brainwashed by the left cannot be reached.

Well here i am ready to be in disagreement again with almost everyone out there. What's the big deal about the new album?

My top 10 good things about it: 10.It's not Chickenfoot 9. No Sammy H. 8. Well, it IS a NEW album 7. It's not red and self titled 6. It's not techno 5. There's only one song with an oom-pah band 4. No one will borrow it 3. Track 3 2. I won't worry about losing it...'cause I won't care 1. Track 1, seriously a good track (and 5/4 time to boot)

Sorry Joe. This isn't the stuff I fell in love with back in "93 when I saw you for the first time on Jay Leno. I can still listen to your old stuff 20-25 years later. I'm sure I won't be listening to this one 20 weeks from now, let alone 20 years.

2 good tracks, 3-4 OK tracks, and the rest is forgettable at best. Love ya Joe, but honestly, to me, big disappointment.

Dear Joe,

I'm sorry to say I'm breaking up with you. I didn't think it possible to have a worse album than Unstoppable Momentum, but you tried your best to do just that with Shockwave. There are only 3-4 songs that are better than a 5 on a scale of one to 10, and honestly most of the songs I couldn't wait to be over. SF Blue is an absolute turd. The one true hope for a classic was Cataclysmic. I was really diggin' that one til we hit about 2 minutes, but that got all f***ed up with that horrible mess of a solo. I see why you didn't pre release more than you did. It's just not that good. I first heard you on Jay Leno in '93(?) play War. Wow, that's the stuff I signed up for!..... But now, sorry, I'm out. it's just not the same.

To Iloveguitars:

Just because I may not play does not take away my right to an opinion, especially when it concerns what MY PERSONAL TASTES are. The fact that he can do something I cannot is why I have been a fan for so long. For me , Joe's older stuff is what I hold near and dear, and after 20-25 years it still holds up. An awful lot of his newer stuff....eh, I have to pick and choose. I can still listen to "War", loud, daily, and I guess I'm waiting for him to outdo that freakin' masterpiece!

That being said, I still stand by my opinion of Unstoppable Momentum. An Orwellian title. I can listen to what I like from that album in 15 minutes or less.

THAT being said, I can be an adult and amend my opinion on the new album. I forget that it takes a few listens to digest the material on a new album. After further digestion I have concluded that I do quite LIKE most of the album; 9/15 to be exact. The ones I like get better with each taste. The ones I don't like, do not. That simple.

Opinions Dude, and when it comes to music it is highly subjective. I know I offended your hero, but don't you think that for 20 some odd years maybe I saw Joe the same way, but lately he dropped a couple stinkers? I don't just blindly accept every thing that comes from him. Just because he's talented and gifted doesn't mean I have to LIKE it all. The red self-titled album; well done if you like blues; me, not. EOC; techno, not a favorite of ANYONE I know that likes Joe. SBM; it literally gives me a headache for some reason. Bottom line , Joe is only a human.

BTW, I do love the new Drummer and Bass, I never thought Jeff Campetelli could/would be replaced.
