A request for my husband, also named Joe who has no idea that I am doing this! I found this site online when I was looking for tickets to your many shows. My husband just returned home after a 19 month long tour of duty in Iraq. His primary duty was to guard the convoys throughout some of the most dangerous places in Iraq. He is with the 324th MP Company out of Middletown, OH. He is also a Cincinnati Police Officer. Joe brought all your cd's with him to listen to in the desert and also had his travel guitar to keep him busy. Joe is a huge fan of your music and is a guitar player himself, I bought him tickets for your show in Columbus, OH on the 27th of October as a surprise. He has among his other guitars a Ibanez Satriani Signature Series. I would love for him to get an autograph from you on one of his most prized possessions. He has been through a heck of a lot in the last year and a half, we both have. He is the greatest person I have ever met and I would love for him to have this to make this surprise even more special. We can't afford to do the ticket package with backstage passes and I was hoping that there might be a chance for him to get his guitar autographed. That's it, I know that you receive several requests for this type of stuff and you may never even read this but I thought it would be worth the try! Thanks for listening, Sincerely, Rachael Ruchti rachael_bray@hotmail.com

Bubbles (Shelia)

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to reply to my post about my husband. I am also glad that you made it home safely after the first war and thank you for your service as well. I will gladly let Joe know that you have said thanks. I know he appreciates hearing that. Being a part of the military can be extremely difficult and trying but can be such a learning experience, you come away with a great understanding of what is really important in life. I was a little worried to post on here about our situation for fear that it would just seem like someone trying to get something for nothing. I just admire my husband so dearly and everything he has done for me and I would love to be able to do something special for him to show him how much I really appreciate him. Joe would listen to Joe's music while overseas and I would also listen to Joe's music here in the states, it reminded me so much of my Joe. He always plays his guitar while I am getting ready and I really missed that music in our house while he was gone. 19 months is a very very long time to be without the daily noises, simple as that sounds. Again thanks for taking the time to reply, I didn't think that anyone would even notice and it is nice to know that someone else has been there, done that and understands and cares. Take care! Rachael
