A very pleasant Hello to everyone on Talk to Joe

I am an avid fan of Joe Satriani and never knew that this forum existed. I recently purchased the Satchurated Feedback CD. I was very pleased with the effort put into it and wish to add in my humble review of the album.

TALK TO JOE ALBUM REVIEW

Dave Watkinson - ESYF: A very strong and promising intro to the CD. Gives the listener a very excited feel as to what is going to come next in the album. Its an enigmatic track. 4.6/5.00

Mark London - Dark Koridorz: Outworldly. A complete take off from ESYF. Something unexpected. It does get a little monotone. Could work with better production. 2.2/5.00

Chris Peters - Darkness: Brilliant! Superb! A very thought provoking song. Kinda oddly placed after Dark Koridorz. Beautiful and sad best describes this song. 4.8/5.00

Pete Mulas - Total Joke: We definitely come to realize this song aint no joke. Funky, Spacy and very very Satrianisque. This man could be the next Satriani. The best Song on the album. 5.00/5.00

Dan Kokol: With a little more detail to production, this song could make it big. Quite an emphasis on shredding more than soul. 3.00/5.00

Graham Shackelford - Another Day: Sad, Dark, Misty, Cold and Beautiful. In this darkness, we see a ray of light....and an array of confusion....3.9/5.00

Christopher Thompson - Cool Intro: Doesnt go farther than that. Some good riffing. 3.0/5.00

Paul Clark - Our Blood on their hands: The title sounds very 9/11ish. Could easily be used in some kind of an attack footage. Clark shows nothing but experience in this track. Soulful and Sharp with a clear direction. A true Journey. 4.5/5.00

Keith Lochte - Cerulian Love Song: Your typical rock song. Nothing striking or out of the ordinary, but a very creative vibe and an extremely funky bounce. Easily could be the guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers. 4.00/5.00

CONTINUED....

Chris Woodland - Searching: Excellent Rhythm section. A little Kirk Hammetish solo looks like the inspiration. A real drummer could work on this excellent piece. And a very sudden demise takes place. 3.3/5.00

Paul Ayres - Klod's Logic: The best to describe this track is "Victory." Its got a very happy feel to it. Could work perfect for a graduation party or something. Its cute at the same time while saying goodby to the woman. 3.9/5.00

Matt King - The Rock Song: Too much effort in trying to be something its not. The rock song is an overstatement. Probably on of the low points of the album right there with Dark Koridorz. 2.2/5.00

Miguel Pais - Railroad Jam: With something like this, Miguel should do himself a favor and jam his guitar in a railroad. Sweet funk to it though. Could be on the soundtrack of Boogie Nights with no effort. 4.4/5.00

Bil McKim - Xenon: Intense. Dark. Underground. Darkness. Superb. Could not be better. 4.8/5.00

Barrie Poole - Finally made it home: Excellent song, Horrible production and quality. Major turn off. 2.6/5.00

Alexandre Caetano - From the Heart: Very Powerful. Alexandre is a very gifted guitarist when it comes to creating riffs. Definitely one of the highlights of the album. 4.9/5.00

Aaren Mowlie - Above and Beyond: The best produced track on the album. Very catchy melody. Sweet & Satisfying. Though Provoking. The perfect tearful happy moment. Simply Beautiful. 4.9/5.00

Thanks all. Hope to become a member of your community.

All,

My name Siro Liguini. I live in New York and am 36 years of age. I play keyboards (have lots of them!) and am looking for some people to jam with. I live in the New York area. I was browsing the T2J website and went to every link of the musicians. Yes, Do the Stu, you are right. The artists whom I did not sound too thrilled with are great musicians in their own right. Mark London, Clark, Alexandre, Mulas, Aaren, Watkinson....everyone has a roster of songs that sound very pro. I look forward to hearing more from you all.

~Siro

Thanks to all who extended a welcoming hand. In this Guitar players heaven, are there any other keyboard players?

I am the head Chef at Il Palazzo in New York. If anyone of you wants to stop by for a nice big meal, please let me know. I will make it extra special for you. I came to America in 1998 from Italy. I was recruited to be a chef here. Joe, if you ever come to New York, please stop by Il Palazzo.

Mikesb - glad you mentions Vitalij. Vitalij is the Yngwie among keyboard players. Extreme Measures and Forward and Beyond are works or art. Since you are a guitarist (seems like it), have you heard Lars Eric Mattson? If you have not heard of him, visit his website for some sound clips. Derek Sherinian is an all time favorite. Have you heard of the french Genius Michael Cretu? He is out there too. And if you want to visit Il Palazzo, we are located on Mulberry. 151 to be exact. Please stop by and let me know when you come!

Phrydom - Thanks to you! I have the CD playing everyday at work. I have added Graham Shackelford's song to our muzak collection. It is beautiful to listen to with a cup of cold milk and a margarita pizza with basil.

Dragonchild - Its a nice choice to buy the T2J cd. It is a gem among all the disposable music being recorded today.

I believe someone should email Guitar World or Guitar One a copy of this CD. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? I really do not recall. Rolling Stone would be a better place because they favor indie artists. With this being a charity CD, it will go through very smoothly.

It is always a pleasure to be hooked online while working in the kitchen. Sometimes there are these people who order foods we have never heard of and the internet shows me how to cook it. And I like talking to people about the music.

dan kokol - my warmest regards.

This morning I was reading about Swedish meatballs and I become so hungry that I thought, "What will the world be like without meatball?"

Paul Clark - I knew there was something of that kind in your song. It had that vibe. That "oh my goodness, look what they have done to us! Time to ATTACK!" Very well portrayed.

Phrydom - Sure guitar magazines should review it. start small with magazines like Circus.

Why dont you request Joe Satriani to put the cd's on his merchandise table? Or even better if he covers a song in his show. My recommendation is Pete Mulas or Alexander's music.

"The world without Meatball is like a world without water"

Meatball and Pasta, Meatball granished with Parmesan and Marinara, Meatball w/Spaghetti and Alfredo sauce with Shitake Mushrooms.....I have decided to make today World Meatball day. Fried Meatball with also tastes very tasty.

Sorry I am so much in love with food and in particular meatballs. My son who is 3 years loves meatballs and I am excited today is his birthday!

ATN - Very cool review of the T2J cd. I agree with you.

Optical studio - thanks so much dear friend.

Delfino Pie - I suggest since you live in England and get some good & traditional worcestershire sauce, you should fry your meatballs in them and then dip it in a blend of Brie. A fine delicacy in southern Italy.

Death Cube K - Thats very good to know about the guitar magazines reviewing the cd. No, I do not have anything recorded. I will record if I find bandmates who are willing to participate.

Busy night at the Palazzo.....

Do the Stu - I have seen Mr. Satriani live several times. Since I came to the US, I saw him 7 times in NY, 4 times in MA, 4 times in PA and once in Jersey. I have seen him also 4 times in Italy. 3 of them were this past summer. I have visited him for his in store performance in NY and Boston also. I have seen Joe many times! Soon I will see him again. It has been 22 times yet.

My favorite album is Live in SF. Beautiful. I love every album equally. My least favorite one is SWTA.

My wife was the one who introduced me to Mr. Satriani. She bought me a JS signature guitar for my birthday in 1998. I knew nothing about guitars then (still dont) but decided to buy one album. So I bought extremist and I loved Crying from the first time I heard it. From then onwards I bought every album I could find. And knowing that Mr. Satriani has a Italian background is very cool.

My children call Mr. Satriani Spaceman when they him on EOC tour. He looked like a spaceman playing guitar!

962 - Sopranos is very good! We have the DVD and we are on Season 3 now. Very good taste my friend!

Phrydom - How sad! but make sure you send it magazines for reviewing. I am from Agrigento. Thats home for me! Very nice place and very great Pizza.

Narface - Meatball is magic! Makes everyone hungry! You ever tried it american way? fry your meatballs, then add some BBQ sauce. Garnish with fresh parmesan shreds. If you like, you can grill it too. My brother (who is a chef in Paris) fries the meatball with cooking wine. Then adds Worcestershire sauce and grills it on coal. Dip it in some boiling hot marinara sauce that has been flavored with fresh garlic and Olive oil. You will enjoy it my friend!

Its nice to sit at home and relax after a enjoyable week at work cooking great food from the wonderful land of Italy. For the first time, we introduced meatballs at Il Palazzo this week, so we were very happy. Business was so good this week.

Mr. Satriani - does Eric Caudeaux play with you regularly on your albums or is it only for the Live in SF concert? What keyboard does he use? Have you ever used the Access Virus? Thank you.

I woke up early to make breakfast for my wife who is going to rotterdam.

Iwill reply to you friends soon. Fall season always busy at Il Palazzo.

I joked with my wife if she wanted meatballs for breakfast! she said yes! because she wants to sleep during the plane flight. Meat is always good to fall sleep too. Heavy food works.

I made her french style eggs with crepes and honey walnut toast. I used Andouille sausage in the eggs. Very frenchy french morning for her.

Today for lunch I am making the kids pasta with Deep fried Parmesan bacon pieces. Put some alfredo sauce and voila! easy food today. Back to Il Palazzo again.

Please tell me some good recipes my friends. And tell me what you eat for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Jason - answer your email. I send you the tracking number.
