Hi Guys: Here's my review of the next four songs....

CHORDS OF LIFE: WOW! Such a beautiful melody, how can anyone not like this song, it rocks, and its beautiful too. What else can I say.........it has a classical feel to it in the middle....wish I could play guitar like that!!! Those chords, someone mentioned they sound a bit "all along the watchtower...." hhhmmmm theres another track later where same chords appear, can't think of it just yet....

MINDSTORM: Nice & Loud & crazy, like something off CP, except for that Borg conversation in the middle...it definitely is a conversation......what the hell are they saying???Any ideas anyone???

SLEEPWALK: Weird! Kind of good in a spooky way. Didn't really like it at first, as it's too reminiscent of 50's & Shadows music, not really my kind of music, but it's an interesting choice after Mindstorm..... Very unexpected, very Joe....

NEW LAST JAM: Yep: can't think of much to say about this one, it's great of course......why "new LAST jam"? I hope not...... I like the ending.....

Ok thats it for tonight , time to go & watch x-files....:)

Clarky: maybe see you Thursday!

anibur: no more news about the tube strike, assume its still on. Parking shouldn't be a problem around Shepherd's Bush area after 6.30pm. Anyway, there are bound to be loads of buses & taxis, as Ben pointed out!(Woosie pommies that we are!!!) London buses are quite good usually, 'specially if a tube strike is on...

Joe: Please pay a visit to Australia...give me a good excuse to visit my sister!!.....theres a plug for you!

By the way anibur, have you got Rod Stuart's address?...lol..I could do with a free house.. Im not too keen on him either, so it could work a treat!! Re your preying mantis(was that you?)......"the female of the species is more deadly than the male"...Space...great song!

Hope we all meet up at the gig! If not before, maybe hang around outside for a while after just to say hullo! I shall probably be wearing my online Satriani tshirt...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!!!!!!!!!!

It is Stu not Boo: "Cant get a good internet connection in Europe".....haha! We're not THAT backward in Europe!!(Except maybe in Holland, where they're a bit deaf!!)... (No offence intended, my best friend is Dutch!!:))

sharon: dont panic...anyone in Shepherd's Bush will tell you where the Empire is, it's not that big a place! Just watch where all the crowds are heading for.....by the way, I suspect we will be queuing, not drinking pre-show......

PhyrDom: we will definitely be at the Grey Horse , Kingston tonight with ticket money...

Hi Everybody! Sorry not to have posted after the concert at the Bush.....computer went down& yesterday busy with b'day party!..;) Joe: thankyou so much for a FANTASTIC concert, really great. You looked really good in your red trousers;).....sound was great...we were on the first level, & could see & hear perfectly. We saw the guy go down at the front, hope he was ok. It was so good to hear you do all the new numbers live..Belly Dancer, Oriental Melody, Seven String , New Jam....could have listened to more new stuff, but great to hear the oldies too....I thought Matt Bissonette was awesome, & the drum /base solo was great. Loved the encore, & just wished I could listen to you play live more often. It was a real treat.

sharon/anibur, & the others....sorry we didnt get to meet up after all! Maybe its time to have photos posted on this site so we can recognise each other !

Clarky , great to see you again(albeit briefly!) Good luck with the tour, thats really good news...

sharon: didnt see you there Im afraid. Last time I stood where you were, & it was fun, but I found it just too loud, & not very comfortable(old age creeping on!!)!

anibur: I must have been right in front of you! I went & sat on the right hand side facing the stage in the reserved seats:)....since no-one else claimed them! Perfect view, & sound was pretty good there too.

michelle: love your post! Very funny......!

My darling kids gave me a mini disc player for my birthday, & as it doesn't record, my son is recording all my satch collection on his for me. Yesterday he recorded SBM, & he said."actually mum, one of those wasn't too bad...."! I will convert them yet! (It's just not cool to like the same music as your mum, even if you love it!!)

NonSmoker: First, Congratulations! I kicked the dreaded weed, & everything that went with it!,...about 4 & half years ago.....there are still days when I would love to light up, but then the thought just goes away & I get on with something else. I decided to give up the day my daughter arrived home shamelessly smoking a cigarette, after begging me for years to give up. I thought there's nothing I can say, but something I can do..........eventually, after all the usual tortures of trying to quit..(smoking 20 Marlbrough full strength in one go & feeling sick, etc)....I went along to NICOTINE Anonymous 12 step fellowship....yes folks, there is one...& there with the help & support of others I finally kicked it. That's my story...people in that fellowship have kicked alcohol, hard drugs even, but they all agree that nicotine is the hardest. Persevere, 'cos it gets easier, but don't ever think you can have "just one" & get away with it! Good Luck!!!

Clarky: your t-shirt did the trick for me....I wouldn't have recognised you otherwise with your flowing locks! My on-line Satriani t-shirt , on the other hand, was completely unsuccessful...not one person approached me with it! I did see one other online t-shirt, but he was too far away to read the name. Maybe we need some other way of recognising online people(any silly ideas anyone?).....like fluerescent(sp?) bright green hats flashing our names....just a thought!

NonSmoker: Hang on in there! After 3 days your body is free of nicotine & you've cracked the physical addiction! The psychological addiction takes much longer......3 weeks is another danger point, then just when you think you're through it 3 months is another! At Nicotine Anonymous we got little badges for one week etc....I was so proud when I got my 12 months, then 2 year badge!!..Working towards my 5 year badge now.....

dragonchild: Love the cartoon! Been there.......

PhyrDom: the sounds are working now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!aaarrrgghhhh.computers! Thanks for making mine more useable..............

Everyone: HELLO AGAIN! One week away, 2 weeks catching up on posts :)

Clarky: brave man to express your opinion. I agree the artwork on SBM was disappointing after EOC, & also I thought the title was a disappointment after all the wonderful suggestions.

However, it took me two years to get into and appreciate CP, so I reserve judgement on the content, but I do know that I loved several tracks on this album immediately, like Seven string, Hill Groove, the Traveller, and I think the album itself is definitely a progression and takes music to a new level....
