hello!, im new, just like 2 say hi! ...ive bin reading the messages, and it seems that people think that Satch's best album is Crystal Planet (undoubtedly awesome, yes) .

BUT! i must say, wen i 1st bought 'Strange Beautiful Music,' i didnt like it as much as Crystal Planet, but recently i picked it up off the shelf...gave it a little dust off...and re-listened 2 it...and its amaaazzinngg, and in my opinion his best album, if u havent got it, go buy it! NOW!

gotta agree with 962, ive got a digital amp, and it sounds like im pooing through a mic...but the valve amps cost a packet...

Mohawk, u gotta b dreeeeaaammiinn, if u want feel i seriously suggest u listen 2 'Far Beyond the Sun,' by Malmsteen.

and if u want superb blues playing by him, see the song 'Blue,' but c'mon man, if he chooses 2 do Neo-Classical, let him, personally i think itt sounds gorgeous when u get his fiery baroque style mixing with a hint of blues and rock.

yeah, the lyrics are cheesy, but who cares, listen to teh instrumentals.

ive heard it alot that he has no feel, and its a shame that people think that, cos they couldnt couldnt b more wrong i thiink, neways, if u wana hear Malmsteen at his best, lissen to him playing with the Japanese Philharmonic orchestra.

lol, i agree mohawk, but him playing with the philharmonic orchestra isnt fiery or his usual stuff, its far more classical, and sounds really amazing, but yeah some of his stuff u do need to sip before u gulp, u might burn ure throat otherwise, but alot of his stuff can (like of course Joe's amazing playing) b appreciated and enjoyed by everyone, cos its so beautiful.

lol, im 2 serious at the moment, but really wont b any kind of waste if u get him playing with the orchestra, ull love it!!
